We have a wonderful opportunity for a Major Donor and Legacies Fundraising Manager working for the LGBTQ+ youth homelessness charity, Albert Kennedy Trust. The Foundation for International Law for the Environment (FILE) was set up in 2018 to be the major philanthropic re-granter scaling up legal action globally to tackle the climate and the biodiversity crises.

We work as movement enablers, campaign strategists, and impact funders, using the law in pursuit of three interconnected system-level goals:

• Reducing net greenhouse gas emissions to protect the climate

• Delivering climate and environmental justice

As movement enablers, campaign strategists, and impact funders, we at FILE do not ourselves bring litigation. As a regrantor, FILE is not an endowed foundation, but rather we engage in fundraising to secure resources to support our partners globally.

The Role

The Grants Coordinator will play a key role within the Grants Team, a growing team at FILE.  This role will work closely with the Grants Managers and Heads of Grants across key FILE portfolios to ensure that programmes and partnerships are delivered at pace and to schedule. Whilst initially this is largely an administrative role, it is an opportunity to gain an insight in the workings of an international philanthropic organisation focused on systemic change through partnerships with a variety of outstanding legal strategists and NGO partners.

As Grants Coordinator, you ensure the quality of FILE’s grant-making processes and provide support to the Grants Managers and Heads of Grants during the entire life cycle of a grant. As well as working closely with the Grants Team, you will be working together with all the relevant stakeholders at FILE, i.e., grantee partners and our colleagues in finance, legal strategy, impact & learning and operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Grant administration – support the internal processes of contracting, payment approvals and tracking financial disbursements. Lead on grantee communication regarding payments and reporting. 

• Ensure timelines and the approval process for grants and contracts run to schedule, ensuring all relevant information is presented to senior FILE team colleagues and decisions are documented. 

• Ensure grant data and documentation is up-to-date and filed appropriately, including input into FILE systems as required. 

• Perform data capture and maintain database records. Support the management of FILE’s key grants database, including supporting development and revision of database processes, structure and workflows. 

• Regular communication with applicants and grant holders, particularly when supporting the due diligence process for applicants. 

• Collaborate with the Grants Manager on annual planning, grants development, in-life grants management, pipeline planning and partnership building with partners. 

• Work up to managing and holding relationships with partners for a small number of grants. 

• Performance & outcome monitoring – support the Grants Manager to effectively monitor the progress and outcomes of projects and grants together with the Legal Strategy and Impact and Learning teams. This will include the scheduling of reporting requirements, and supporting the evaluation, impact and learning processes.

• Support other portfolio teams if required and time allows.

Coeliac UK currently has an exciting opportunity for a Regular Giving Coordinator, to join our team hybrid working, including on site at Coeliac UK Head Office, High Wycombe. You will join us on a full time basis. In return you will receive a competitive salary of £28,305 per annum.

Coeliac UK represents over 60,000 members providing information and support to those affected by coeliac disease or following a gluten free diet. We also campaign on behalf of all those living with coeliac disease and undertake research into the causes of the disease.

The Regular Giving Coordinator role:

The fundraising team at Coeliac UK plays a crucial role in raising funds to support the charity’s work. This is a new position within the team, ideal for someone who is passionate about delivering an outstanding supporter experience, is organised, and enjoys working with data. The focus will be on managing and growing our regular giving programme, ensuring a positive experience for existing donors and attracting new supporters.

Working closely with the Head of Fundraising, you will be responsible for increasing the number of regular donors, maintaining and upgrading relationships with existing supporters, and contributing to Coeliac UK’s overall fundraising goals.

Key responsibilities of the Regular Giving Coordinator:

• Assist the Fundraising team with supporter care tasks, including responding to telephone, post, and email inquiries, processing donations, handling merchandise, and supporting appeals.
• Provide regular updates to the Head of Fundraising and Director of Fundraising on progress towards financial targets, marketing plans, and other KPIs.
• Work with other teams, including fundraising, membership, marketing, and finance, to support and enhance the regular giving programme.
• Occasionally attend events at evenings and weekends if required

What will I be doing?

Creating high-quality collateral and delivering tailored promotion for funders through our social media channels, website, CYT newsletter, and impact reports.

Day to day, you will take photos and videos at CYT events, write social media posts, write case studies and success stories, support the organisation and delivery of internal and external events – all with the aim of increasing engagement with key CYT funders and in-kind supporters.

The role of Communications and Marketing Coordinator sits within the Communications Team at Kids Matter. • Be able to create a vision and a strategy for how data will be used to drive growth in our fundraising. You will be the champion for our database.
• Create both the technical systems and processes, and the culture, that ensure our data quality is high.
• Be experienced in integrating other systems into our database so we can effectively integrate data from external systems such as online giving systems or mass email programmes, for example.
• Deliver a training programme encompassing one to one support, workshops, manuals and other activities.

As Talitha Arts’ Therapeutic Arts Programme Manager, you will be responsible for managing Talitha Arts’ programmes, partnerships and practitioners, working with a wide range of stakeholders. You will come from an arts, management or therapeutic arts background (in any field) and have experience developing programming, managing people/volunteers, and growing partnerships.You will be committed to growth and development and passionate about the power of the creative arts to bring healing, restoration and transformation. You will have experience and a heart for working with vulnerable people, devising and developing creative arts workshops and training sessions, and will be willing to work flexibly with therapeutic intent but outside a clinical framework.

This position is home-based with regular travel within London for workshop, training and meetings (travel costs will be reimbursed). Working hours are flexible throughout the week and can be either part time or full time depending on the candidate (maximum of 30hrs per week).Talitha Arts also provides learning and development opportunities, travel for work within London and 3 extra days at Christmas.

Who are We?

Talitha Arts is creative arts charity that delivers creative arts workshops that benefit the mental health and wellbeing of those who have experienced trauma (through trafficking, living with dementia, domestic and sexual abuse, homelessness) and/or are living with mental health problems, addiction or disability. We are a small team comprising our Artistic Director (Executive), Fundraiser and Therapeutic Consultant. You will be managing 15 self-employed practitioners who work on a freelance basis.

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Managing and developing all aspect of Talitha Art’s therapeutic arts workshop programming 

• Overseeing all programming, coordinating teams and managing Practitioner Coordinators

• Overseeing the planning and evaluation process of all programmes, including liaising with partners, monitoring and reporting

• Advising on creative and therapeutic processes

• Helping to create and develop new programme strategies in collaboration with the Artistic Director to ensure best practice

• Overseeing and managing the content of sessions and monitoring therapeutic intent

• Working alongside Therapeutic Consultant to ensure that programmes are trauma-informed and therapeutic in intent 

• Act as Deputy Safeguarding Adult and Child Lead for Talitha Arts 

• Maintaining all databases and updates (in google workspace)

• Committed to ongoing learning and development, including exploring expressive arts therapies and researching beneficiary groups

• Delivering workshops alongside a team of practitioners as and when is necessary

2. Managing Talitha Art’s partnerships with organisations, care homes and community settings to develop ongoing collaborative programmes

• Building on existing partner relationships; and seeking and developing new partner relationships

• Partnering with various organisations to schedule and manage Talitha’s programmes

• Developing project proposals and pitch to new potential partners

• Collaborating with partners on project management of programmes including planning scheduling, coordinating publicity, and follow up with partners (liaising with AD)

3. Managing Talitha Arts Practitioners

• Developing, devising and delivering Talitha Art’s ongoing practitioner training and development and induction training for new practitioners (alongside AD)

• Helping to devise an effective approach to ensure practitioner retention and best practice (alongside AD)

• Coordinating programmes to fit availability of practitioners in accordance with their suitability for the client groups

• Working alongside AD to recruit practitioners (including DBS and references checks), liaise with them during the process, and assess suitability and progress of trainees 

• Delegating tasks to Programme Coordinators and working closely with them to have oversight of programmes they are responsible for

Main duties of the job
