Job Title and Summary: Senior Video Editor
As a Senior Video Editor, you become part of the Visual Creative team and be a vital part of delivering well produced short- and longform videos for Soi Dog’s social media platforms by visualizing and sharing ideas, storyboarding exciting upcoming video ideas, challenging your creative thoughts through your way of editing videos and assisting the team and various departments optimizing their video content.
You will be working together with Visual Creatives' photo-, videographers and designers, Fundraising and Marketing teams who will be responsible for providing you with briefs and guidance on content requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Video editing and Storyboarding
- Edit engaging videos with motion graphics, sound design and captions, and make sure they resonate with the targeted audience and media platform.
- Visualize, share, storyboard and supervise ideas for upcoming video projects together with team members and from other departments.
- Provide guidance on video editing to other members of the team.
- Staying updated in the latest advancements and trends within the world of video editing
Project and Time management
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Handling and organizing raw and edited video files
- Ensuring organised folder structures and project files.
Skills and Experience:
Essential:
- 2 or more years of experience with video editing
- Have exceptional written English skills as well as verbal
- Advanced knowledge on video editing
- Advanced experience within the Adobe Creative Suite (For Mobile and Desktop)
- Experienced in both social media and long form content
- Experience with colour correction and grading

· Manage and support the volunteer ShelterBox Response Team (SRT) members
· Working with colleagues in the International Programmes and Learning & Development Teams, ensure SRT volunteers are ready to deploy when needed, including being up to date with training requirements
· Review, develop and implement the SRT strategy and ensure it supports engagement strategies and develop new approaches to maintain and build SRT communication and relationships - including but not limited to webinars, SRT working group.
· Work with the organisation to plan the recruitment, selection and retention of the volunteer workforce
· Giving leadership and strategic direction to ShelterBox volunteering across the organisation, with responsibility for ensuring good practice.

· Promoting and enabling a positive culture of engagement that values the work of ShelterBox volunteers working alongside staff and those volunteers that work with our teams overseas.

· Chair the Volunteer Manager’s Forum.
· Support the regional networks for all volunteers creating opportunities for meeting in person, peer support and learning.
· Developing and reviewing organisational volunteer policies and procedures and ensuring they are fit for purpose.
· Work with the EDI working group to implement EDI recommendations for the volunteer network.
· Work as part of the Safeguarding Working Group to ensure safeguarding policies and practices are reflected for all volunteer roles.
· Be part of the Crisis Management Working Group
· Work in partnership with the Learning & Development Team and Volunteer Managers and the NCVO network to develop engaging training opportunities for volunteers.
· Support the delivery of the Global Induction to the volunteer network.
· Manage volunteer complaints and concerns appropriately and in a timely manner through the Resolving Differences policy.

The Eco Church programme helps churches of all shapes, sizes and traditions along the journey of caring for the environment. OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE
This new role will play a key part in ensuring strong financial management of the organisation’s financial resources. This position is key for both Helen Bamber Foundation and Asylum Aid and the postholder will work closely with all members of the finance team in delivering both the organisational and financial strategies.
The candidate will have confidence and experience in producing high quality and accurate management accounts and variance analysis, as well as proven FP&A experience in supporting a charity’s annual financial planning cycle. As the organisation moves into a new strategic cycle, the post holder will play a key role in supporting the development of financial systems and processes ensuring that the finance department evolves as required.
As Senior Finance Manager, you will be reporting to the Director of Finance and Governance and will be directly line managing the Finance Manager. Supporting their development as they progress with their accounting qualifications will be a key requirement in this role, and you will have the opportunity to work with and mentor them through this.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Lead on the production of monthly management accounts for both entities (Helen Bamber Foundation & Asylum Aid) including variance analysis.
· Oversight of month end close process carried out by the Finance Manager ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
· Supporting the annual planning cycle including regular re-forecasts as well as the annual budget planning process.
· Provide reports and accurate project accounting for joint partnerships with other organisations.

· Lead on production of the annual financial statements in adherence with FRS102 and charity SORP. This includes review of the year-end adjustments and liaising with the communications team on production of the annual report.
· Play a leading role in the annual audit process, dealing with our external auditors and ensuring a smooth and efficient audit process.
· Support cash flow forecasting ensuring that latest risks and opportunities are considered.
· Support the fundraising team with bid applications ensuring that budgets are accurate and aligned to strategy.
· Responsibility for the updating and implementation of key financial control procedures and policies across the organisation.
· Continually look to improve financial processes both within the finance team and across the organisation. This role will play a key role in delivering the financial strategy including systems development.
· Provide payroll cover as required – payroll is outsourced to an external payroll bureau.
· Provide good quality line management to the Finance Manager as well as indirectly to 2 part time Finance Assistants. Be seen as a leader within the organisation.

To be successful in this role, you must have proven experience in risk management, compliance, or a similar role, preferably within the non-profit sector. Additionally, you will need proven experience in mitigating legal risks and liabilities, identifying contractual hazards to reduce or eliminate their financial impact, and have guided colleagues to negotiate contractual matters in a legal and ethical manner.
Key responsibilities for this role include:
- Develop and implement comprehensive risk management frameworks and strategies, both in and out of appeals.
- Manage the process of risk assessments (including data protection impact assessments) and internal audits to identify and mitigate potential risks.
- Manage the organisation’s insurance policies and ensure adequate coverage for all potential risks.
- Oversee travel risk management to ensure the safety and security of staff traveling to high-risk areas.

About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to lead on an externally funded outreach project providing hard to reach young people with the opportunity to try free boating sessions over the summer holidays.
This is a very varied and rewarding role that requires someone who is self-motivated, organised, creative, tenacious, positive and IT competent with experience in project management.
You need to be able to motivate and inspire your project team, ensuring that the project is on target through continuous monitoring and evaluation. The On The Water Project Coordinator will be responsible for the line management of 3 fixed-term Project Assistants.
Whilst this role is homebased for the majority of the time, it requires the post holder to travel to each of the locations intensively throughout the 5 week delivery period, as well as regular travel for both the planning and evaluation periods. Travel expenses are covered as part of the role.
Responsibilities
Coordinate and ensure the delivery of the On the Water project.
- To manage the temporary Project Assistants at Royal Docks, Midlands and Port Edgar Boat Stations
- Work with the Project Assistants and Growth and Development Workers to enable the effective recruitment of young people, particularly those facing difficulties or disadvantage to the project through recruitment and referrals from local authorities, schools and other relevant bodies
- Devise, plan and implement systems to record and report on the project’s activity, progress and outcomes
- Manage the budget in accordance with the agreed expenditure targets, ensuring that accurate records are maintained
- Ensure the safe and smooth running of delivery in line with all internal policies
- Manage the evaluation, wrap up and future planning of the project
- Ensure the project meets it's targets and funders have timely and accurate reports
- Develop robust monitoring and booking systems and ensure they are rolled out, understood, and used across all 3 sites

The Role
Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer you will project manager this new programme that aims to raise awareness of fuel poverty and its impact on people who are critically ill or grieving and provide over 5000 people in the Southeast of England with information and support relating to fuel poverty, CO safety and the Priorities Services Register.
You will provide inspirational leadership to the project group and key staff, driving the delivery of this new partnership according to the contract with SGN, achieving the outcomes set out by SGN, and ensuring monthly reporting is accurate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project manage and drive delivery of the SGN Safe and Warm programme to ensure delivery is on track, highlight issues and work with colleagues to find solutions
- Willing and able to travel within the project’s footprint area to visit retail stores and service locations.
- Attend SGN partnership meetings to strengthen relationships

We are looking to recruit a Collections Care and Conservation Manager to join our team based at our Stafford site. You will join us on a full time, permanent basis and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of £38,000-£40,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
The Royal Air Force Museum is a national museum, a Government non-departmental public body (NDPB) and a registered charity, with two sister sites at London and Midlands. Our purpose is to share the RAF story, past, present and future - using the stories of its people and our collections in order to engage, inform and inspire. We have two public sites (London and Midlands) and a stored collection (Stafford). Our trading company and active fundraising supplement Grant in Aid which comes through the Ministry of Defence.
Purpose of the Collections Care and Conservation Manager role:
We are looking for an experienced Collections Care and Conservation Manager to join the Museum team at an exciting time as we prepare for a major store move and develop vibrant and engaging new exhibitions.
You will manage the development and delivery of collections care and conservation projects and facilities across the three Museum sites as well as a range of activities to ensure the preservation of collections while promoting wider public access to the RAF story and volunteer engagement.
Key responsibilities of our Collections Care and Conservation Manager include:
- Lead the collections care and conservation team, integrating staff and volunteers to condition assess, document, clean and conserve objects ranging from aircraft and uniforms to personal papers and art works so they can be shared with audiences on site, offsite and online.
- Plan, manage and monitor the delivery of programmes for the conservation of and access to the Museum’s collections, planning activities, managing risk, time and resources in accordance with professional standards, policies, procedures and legislative requirements.
- Ensure the safe, secure, effective and efficient management of the conservation team, volunteers, contractors, conservation materials, equipment and facilities.
- Ensure an effective balance is made between long-term preservation, restoration and the Museum’s access and interpretation objectives.
- Manage the Collections Disaster Response and Salvage Plan, acting as lead contact in emergencies relating to collections, liaising with the Visitor Experience Supervisors to ensure effective incident management, damage reporting and to support wider emergency planning through the Museum’s Incident Management Plan.
- Support and facilitate the Museum’s commercial activities
What we are looking for in our Collections Care and Conservation Manager:
- Relevant experience in managing, maintaining and conserving museum collections, notably in relation to stored collections, collection moves and exhibition projects.
- Demonstrable experience of implemented collections care in line with professional standards and best practice.
- Communicates in a straightforward manner, demonstrating respect and acting with integrity and impartiality.
- Recognises scope of own authority for decision making and empowers team members to make appropriate decisions.
- Relevant conservation or collections management qualification.
- Experience of COSHH and health and safety regulations and legislation, including radiation protection and asbestos.
- Full, clean driving licence

You’ll be responsible for:

We’re looking for someone with a data or digital background, with a track record of overseeing the delivery a high-quality user experience through digital products and commercialising data or digital services. Passion for nature conservation is essential, as well as a desire to engage with the many natural history specialists who contribute data to the NBN Atlas. We’re looking for an ambitious individual with an agile, entrepreneurial mind-set, who can drive income generation and growth.
The ideal candidate understands what an excellent data platform looks like and how to continually evolve this to keep up with trends and developments. Attention to detail and ability to horizon-scan is key in overseeing the Trust’s projects and key work streams and ensuring good governance. The NBN Trust is a small team, with a big responsibility, undergoing a period of change, and your role will be to steer the staff through this change and deliver the NBN Trust’s strategy.
We’re a 100% remote-working charity, so you’ll need to be comfortable and effective working from home. The whole team meets up four times a year for in-person team meetings (in London and other locations around the UK). The post holder may be required to work occasional weekends and evenings.
