The Role 
 
As our Corporate Partnerships Manager, you will identify and approach businesses that wish to support a Yorkshire charity and contribute to the advancement of worldwide research to find cures for cancer. You will build strong, ongoing partnerships with businesses and their employees based upon a mutual desire to help each other meet goals and objectives 

Supporting the Head of Fundraising, you will develop Yorkshire Cancer Research’s portfolio of business partnerships and deliver exceptional levels of tailored engagement and stewardship.   

Specifically, you will: 

• Build an in-depth knowledge and understanding of businesses motivations and requirements of a charity partner. Translate these insights into compelling and attractive offers for potential charity partners.

• Work with colleagues across the charity (e.g. in the marketing and the events teams) to create offers that can be clearly and convincingly presented to businesses (e.g. Corporate Social Responsibility fulfilment, charity of the year, employee talks about cancer, team-building fundraising events, support for cancer awareness months and payroll giving). 

• Oversee the delivery of events and campaigns, ensuring the needs and expectations of businesses are properly understood by internal stakeholders and can be achieved. 

• Research Yorkshire businesses to identify those (target organisations) that share the charity’s values and ethos, then approach these organisations to develop a pipeline of partners with the potential to form lasting, mutually beneficial relationships. 

• Meet with leaders of target organisations to listen to what they require of a charity partner and establish whether Yorkshire Cancer Research can fulfil their needs.  

• Develop high quality proposals and plans to support business partners with activities that will appeal to them based upon their needs and specify the support Yorkshire Cancer Research expects so that the partnership will prove mutually beneficial. 

About You 

To be considered for this role, you will need: 

• To have a degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline, or 
  proven experience working in a similar role at a similar level. 

• To have experience of relationship-building, preferably with senior business leaders. 

• To have experience of planned and delivered activities and events for third parties. 

• To have experience of working collaboratively and effectively in a matrix-management organisation. 

• To have experience of listening to customers to understand their pain points and needs and developing manageable and profitable solutions to address their needs. 

• To have experience of working with databases and CRM platforms (e.g. Access or Raiser’s Edge). 

• To have excellent customer service delivery. 

• To have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships and ongoing partnerships. 

• To be happy to work independently and ask for support where it is needed. Also likes to work with, and support, colleagues as part of a team working towards a common goal.

We support refugees and people seeking asylum, many of whom are torture survivors, through an integrated programme of therapeutic and casework assistance, in the context of a community of survivors. Hours:  7.5 hours per day (typically 9.30am – 5.30 pm with a half hour for lunch) 5 days a week. We will also consider 4 days per week, salary pro-rata’d

Salary: £45,000 - 50,000 per annum (full time salary)

Start-date: Autumn 2024 with 8-10 weeks handover with the current Director

• Provide admin and operational support to the Fundraising Team
• Accurately record and manage data using the Salesforce CRM system.
• Ensure that fundraisers and supporters get timely correspondents by email or phone.

The Lady Garden Foundation is a national charity, founded in 2014, which aims to raise funds and improve  awareness of the 5 gynaecological cancers (Ovarian, Cervical, Womb (Uterine), Vulval and Vaginal).

Job Summary:  
The position of Event Manager is a central role within the Foundation, not only driving the Foundation forward in both fundraising and keeping the cogs turning in all aspects from administrative detail to event organisation. 

This role is unique, from the breadth of responsibilities to the ownership it allows for an individual. 

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Leading development, delivery and execution of the LGF events programme, consisting of already established major donor events and a focus on improving the range of events for a wide general audience that maximises fundraising and drives supporter engagement.

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with event co-founders, committee members, stakeholders and high net worth individuals to maximise income and secure continued committed support.

• To closely work with the relevant events production agency to ensure the smooth running of events e.g. ensuring dietaries are collected, managing event budget inline with sponsorship.

• Responsible for all major donor relationship management.

• Responsible for day-to-day internal fundraising tasks, ensuring gift aid claims are up to date etc…

• Aiding co-founders and committee members with event sponsorship bids and presentations.

• Main LGF contact for event sponsors, includes ensuring contractual agreements are met, generally keeping them informed and happy with the partnership.

• PR- oversee the activities of our pro bono PR team from an events perspective.

• Lead, coach and work closely with the Events and Fundraising Executive to enable them to take on responsibilities for smaller events and manage tasks within the events.

The Role

The Mental Health Support Worker will provide flexible, practical, holistic, and accessible support to Gypsies and Travellers across West Yorkshire to improve and promote mental wellbeing. The provision will be based on the organisation’s values including helping people to help themselves and the organisation believes everyone is equal and can be included. 

You will be part of a small and dedicated mental health team at the organisation, contributing to its effective running through outreach and good communication with colleagues and members.  You will be working in partnership with other agencies in the field of mental health, the post holder will work to ensure increased accessibility to mental health support services, reflecting on and implementing best practices. The post holder will work within an agreed monitoring framework for the service and for the organisation.

About You

As Mental Health Support Worker you will need to live and breathe the charity’s values through your work and have the following experience/skills:

• Case management experience including managing referrals and case load to agreed targets and timescales
• Experience of working with people experiencing enduring mental health issues, mental distress and complex needs
• Experience of recording, monitoring and evaluation

School Food Matters (SFM) exists to teach children about food and to improve children’s access to healthy, sustainable food during their time at school. We provide fully funded food education programmes to schools. Our experience delivering these programmes informs and strengthens our campaigns, bringing the voices of children, parents and teachers to government policy. 

Job purpose

· To support the team with the organisation and delivery of all food education programmes

Key tasks include:

· Providing project support to the Senior Partnerships and Programmes Officer and Development Manager in both the office and on-site to deliver SFM’s food education programmes, including gathering quotes and photos on projects

· Creating new and maintaining existing relationships with schools

· Delivering some assemblies and workshops to schools

· Supporting existing relationships with programme partners and funders

Support Coordinator

We’re looking for an innovative, passionate, and professional individual with excellent communication and organisational skills to join our Stroke Recovery Services based in the Dorset East area.

There will be opportunities to hot desk within Bournemouth and Christchurch, as well as Poole NHS sites. This is an exciting opportunity to work with stroke survivors and their families to provide Key Worker support following a stroke.

Position: S11166 Stroke Association Support Coordinator

Location: Home-based, Dorset East however, Frequent travel will be required as part of this role (May include team meetings or other work-related meetings)

Hours: Part-time, 28 hours per week (flexible working available)

Salary: Circa £21,391 per annum (FTE circa £26,700 per annum)

Contract: Our services are contracted, we currently have funding for this role until 30 June 2027.

What does the Global Grant Manager, Finance & Operations role involve? 

The Global Grants Manager is a critical role at CPI, primarily focused on enhancing the operational efficiency and financial compliance of our grant funded programmes. Reporting directly to the Acting Global Director of People, Finance, and Operations, this position requires a strategic thinker with a strong foundation in finance and grants management, who will work closely with programmatic teams and partner with stakeholders across the organisation. 

The role will involve working directly with large global funders, as well as directly with sub grantees and suppliers on CPI programmes. This role will also provide overall finance support to our Europe team in collaboration with our Global Senior Associate, Finance and Operations. Our managers have overall responsibilities, obligations and duties around finance, budget performance, and strategic development. They create protocols and policies needed to help with organisational and programmatic delivery. This role will be responsible for receiving and reviewing partner expenditures and reports and preparing consolidated financial reports for donors as well as be accountable for day to day grant management and administration.

As someone whose work will include building relationships with everyone at CPI, you will be responsible for making sure our global teams are set up to succeed and assist in keeping our workplace a great place to work for everyone. This role will largely be focused on our Europe team, however you will support all CPI regions worldwide.

• Support donor compliance during reporting by using the right templates and budgetary ceilings as applicable 

• Assist the Finance & Operations team during the month end process to ensure that all balance sheet items are all accounted and reconciled with their respective subsidiary ledgers and/or schedules and all contra or clearance accounts are cleared at the end of every month

• Assist the Finance & Operations team in preparing annual financial plans for effective financial management of the global teams

• Assist the Finance & Operations team in preparing monthly management reports and performing bi-monthly forecasting

  • Work with global teams in drafting funder, grantee and/or supplier contracts to support the delivery of our programmatic activity

• Donor & Grants Management

  • Support our project teams to ensure programmes are implemented in line with Donor policies and requirements 

  • Lead the sub granting process for all implementing partners and consortiums in collaboration with the relevant regional/project teams

  • Ensure that the necessary information is documented, tracked and updated on the appropriate financial transaction and reporting tools

  • Lead on the preparations of budget versus actuals to support ongoing grants decision, identify deviations in implementation progress and flag delays/request for support

  • Proactively update Senior leadership on progress, risks and financial status

Job Description – Operations Manager
IcFEM Dreamland Mission is a Christian charity set up to help fund and support the work of IcFEM in
Kenya. We had been running for almost 20 years with volunteers
running a home-based UK office. Three years ago we employed staff in the UK for the first time. We
currently have income of £350k- £400k a year depending on the projects running. IcFEM Kenya is a
locally run organisation based at Kimilili in Western Kenya. IcFEM Kenya runs community projects as
well as a school and hospital. The past five years has seen our work grow significantly, including the
school and hospital which have developed into large institutions that are valued by the community
in Kimilili and fit well into the local government set up.
We are looking for an individual who is ambitious to see our ministry grow and is experienced at
blending trust in God with human endeavour.
We are seeking an Operations Manager who has experience of the charity sector and is prepared to
be flexible and adaptable to the needs of this small charity. There is the potential for flexibility within
this role and we would be willing to discuss a variation in hours worked. Some occasional evening or
weekend work will be needed, and occasional travel to Kenya is an important part of the role,
particularly to build relationships with the Kenyan team.

Governance and legal compliance
➢ Review and keep updated UK policy and procedure documentation, writing new policies

Digital Healthcare Manager

The Digital Healthcare Manager is a new and exciting role at the College. This role will lead the development of the RCPCH Digital Health programme, aimed at understanding the range of technologies in use by the membership along with the digital confidence and competence of the membership through analysis of survey data. This analysis will help to provide details of key digital solutions for the workforce. The Digital Health programme will also support the workforce to embrace and implement digital health technologies into clinical practice.

As Digital Healthcare Manager, you will lead activities related to the integration of digital health technologies into mainstream paediatrics by participating in relevant Committees and working groups and reporting to Project Boards on the programme’s progress against agreed timelines, deliverables, risks and issues.

Based within the Research and Evidence team and reporting to the Head of Research and Evidence, you will work with colleagues internally and externally to embed digital skills into the paediatric workforce as well as developing education and training resources for paediatricians, to help build capacity and capability.

You will also work with the Head of Grants and Partnerships to identify sources of funding to support future work within the Research and Evidence remit and work with communications colleagues to create and implement communication plans and resources/assets related to the RCPCH Digital Health.

With a degree or equivalent experience with a research, health science or digital healthcare

component, you should have experience of producing high quality written reports, documentation and promotional information suitable for a range of audiences.

You should have experience of collaborative ways of working across multidisciplinary teams and programmes of work and have the ability to manage competing demands and conflicts whilst maintaining productive working relationships with stakeholders.

With excellent organisational skills and the ability to adopt an orderly and precise approach to work, paying careful attention to detail and capable of following standard procedures and ways of working, you should also have demonstrable programme management skills, being able to work autonomously and take personal responsibility for your projects.

Knowledge of research methodology, including literature searching and data analysis, along with a project management qualification and an understanding of the education and training pathways of paediatric healthcare professionals would also be desirable.
