This role will provide line management and support for a small team of Children and Young People (CYP) practitioners, each supporting a caseload of CYP displaying abusive and aggressive behaviours in their familial and other close relationships. The team deliver interventions on a one to one and group-work basis, in schools and other community based settings, to children and young people aged between 5 and 17. This role will include duties around co-ordinating, and supporting the team in delivering, those interventions.
The Senior Behaviour Change caseworker will also take responsibility for the initial triage and assessment of referrals, ensuring that they are then allocated to the most appropriate support/intervention according to their individual needs.
The role may include some out of hours and weekend working, as dictated by the business needs of the service.

About the Role:
This role is based in Stafford but will work flexibly across Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent. The service will be delivered as per service user requirements and will involve early evening and possible weekend delivery, potentially on a rota basis.
As a Senior Behaviour Change caseworker you will be: -
- managing a team of CYP Behaviour Change caseworkers, working with children and young people
- delivering interventions in person, individually or as part of a group
- assessing risk and needs at all times; ensuring the safe delivery of service

You must be a great communicator with experience in prospect research, writing funding proposals and developing relationships with trust representatives. As part of a growing and dynamic Fundraising team, your main duties will be to research trust and foundations, create and send applications and steward relationship with current and future charitable trusts. As part of the team, you will also be involved in generating funds across various other income streams.
Key responsibilities:
- Research and identify charitable trusts which may provide future financial support to RABI whilst maximising the potential for giving from trusts with which the Charity already has a relationship.

Our expert team of canine behaviourists provide behavioural support and advice to teams within Battersea, members of the public, and the rescue organisations we work with around the world. The team design and help implement behaviour modification and training plans for dogs whilst coaching members of the canine care groups through the practical day-to-day steps. They also assist with behavioural and welfare assessments of animals who come into our centres and are on hand to help manage and provide further support with dogs with more complex behavioural needs. Within this role, you will work with our operational teams in the assessment and welfare of the dogs in our care and in the provision of behavioural training and advice for staff, volunteers, customers and external organisations. About the role
As Crisis’ Media Officer, you will play a key role in securing impactful media coverage that inspires the public and politicians to join our fight to end homelessness by raising awareness of our influencing campaigns and fundraising events. You will help to build Crisis’ profile by bringing to life our work, demonstrating how we end people’s homelessness for good through education, training and support with housing, employment, and health.
Your role will be creative and varied. You’ll work with our frontline staff to identify people facing homelessness who want to share their stories and empower them to do so. At Crisis we always champion the voices and experiences of the people who we support. You’ll help create bold and hard-hitting news stories to engage our audiences and bring to life some of our biggest organisational campaigns, like our annual Christmas appeal. You will also help make the most of reactive opportunities that come through to our press office and help build relationships with key journalists.
About you
You will have:

Experience of working within a busy press office environment/ PR agency or as a journalist.

Experience of supporting with or delivering impactful media campaigns or stories that have helped secure quality coverage in national and regional news outlets, as well as softer consumer features.

Excellent writing skills, with the ability to craft engaging copy for a range of audiences, including political, consumer, tabloid, trade and everything in between.

Experience of working with case studies, identifying and preparing stories for the media and empowering people to share their experiences.

Strong news sense, with a good working knowledge of the UK media, including digital media production, with experience of creating digital first coverage and amplifying campaign messages creatively in the digital sphere.

About the role:
As a Children and Young Person's Independent Domestic Violence Advisor (CYP IDVA) you will:
- Work with young survivors aged 13-25yo, holding a caseload of varying complexity, prioritising high risk cases
- Conduct comprehensive needs & risk assessments
- Provide individualized safety & support plans, advocacy, practical support & information
- Participate in the Multi-Agency Risk Assessment Conference (MARAC)
- Attend multi-disciplinary meetings, including child protection & child in need
- Use a person-centred, survivor-focused approach, being mindful of the effects of trauma & additional barriers to access that children & young people may experience
- Take the lead on the development of responses to the needs of at-risk young survivors and their families, and the development of relationships and referral pathways with partner agencies in this area
- Assist in delivering training & provide consultancy & advice to other agencies
You will need:
- An understanding of the issues faced by young survivors experiencing domestic abuse
- Knowledge of risk assessment, safety planning & risk management
- An understanding of safeguarding issues & the legal responsibilities surrounding these
- Experience of delivering services to survivors of domestic abuse and/or other vulnerable people
- Experience of working within a multi-agency & legislative framework
- Experience of managing a complex caseload, able to prioritise work effectively
- To be able to deliver indvidualised safety & support plans with knowledge of risk reduction
- The ability to deliver training sessions to professional agencies
- Ability to self-reflect, identify own needs, and put in place effective self-care strategies
