About the Accelerating Reform Fund
The Accelerating Reform Fund is a new initiative which aims to transform social care services, making them more responsive to the needs of the community. It is a national programme, with 42 regions allocated to have their own projects. Greater Manchester is one of the ARF regions. The ARF has a particular focus on unpaid carers and aims to boost short-term breaks for carers and improve hospital discharge processes. This work is made possible by Department for Health and Social Care grants. As an organisation, Gaddum has supported and collaborated with unpaid carers for many years, so we’re excited to bring our experience to the table. This role will be based in the Manchester team working to improve hospital discharge processes.
Job Summary
To develop and ensure safe discharge planning and information for patients and unpaid carers. To embed procedures to raise awareness of the needs of carers in a secondary care setting, working in partnership with the discharge, virtual and enablement teams. To empower carers to be involved in the discharge process.
Job Purpose
The purpose of this role is to provide operational leadership and oversight of the Carers Hospital Discharge Pilot in Manchester. The role involves line-managing a team of three Hospital Discharge Workers across multiple hospital sites, ensuring effective collaboration with hospital staff and community services to support carers. The aim is to enhance the identification and referral of carers, ensuring timely and appropriate support to prevent carer breakdown and facilitate smoother, safer, and more efficient hospital discharges. An exciting new position has arisen for a Finance Administrator to join the team at International Seafarers' Welfare and Assistance Network, an international not-for-profit maritime organisation working to improve the lives of seafarers and their families with services, resources, strategies and advocacy. We are looking for candidate/s with suitable accounting or bookkeeping qualifications, experience of using accounting software and CRM systems such as Quickbooks, Xero, Salesforce, or GlueUp. This role requires excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Key responsibilities and responsibilities of the role include:
- Maintain the purchase and sales ledgers
- Respond to supplier and client’s queries
- Process supplier and sales invoices, staff claims and expenses
- Set up bank payments
- Bank reconciliation and journals

Summary of the role:
The Fundraising Volunteer Assistant (Ramadan Campaign) plays a crucial role in the lead up to and post Ramadan. The role provides critical support in fundraising collections and events. Location: Hybrid, home-based or hospice-based working. (Initially, this role will require regular presence at the hospice in Loughborough.)

Coeliac UK represents over 60,000 members providing information and support to those affected by coeliac disease or following a gluten free diet. We also campaign on behalf of all those living with coeliac disease and undertake research into the causes of the disease.
The Regular Giving Coordinator role:
The fundraising team at Coeliac UK plays a crucial role in raising funds to support the charity’s work. This is a new position within the team, ideal for someone who is passionate about delivering an outstanding supporter experience, is organised, and enjoys working with data. The focus will be on managing and growing our regular giving programme, ensuring a positive experience for existing donors and attracting new supporters.
Working closely with the Head of Fundraising, you will be responsible for increasing the number of regular donors, maintaining and upgrading relationships with existing supporters, and contributing to Coeliac UK’s overall fundraising goals.
Key responsibilities of the Regular Giving Coordinator:
- Coordinate the regular giving programme, ensuring smooth processes for donor sign-ups, payments, and communications.

- Assist the Fundraising team with supporter care tasks, including responding to telephone, post, and email inquiries, processing donations, handling merchandise, and supporting appeals.
- Provide regular updates to the Head of Fundraising and Director of Fundraising on progress towards financial targets, marketing plans, and other KPIs.
- Work with other teams, including fundraising, membership, marketing, and finance, to support and enhance the regular giving programme.

The consultant will also strengthen NRC's capacity to craft competitive, compliant proposals aligned with its financial policies.

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for the overall grant and contract management function.
- Develop and maintain grant and contract management approaches that reflect the ethos of a CVS
- Secure on-going opportunities and to create new opportunities in line with the needs of the sector.
- Develop relationships with key partners across all sectors to support the development and delivery of the grant making function.
- Responsible for the end-to-end management of each grant program, including but not limited to: bidding guidance, eligibility criteria, launch and advertising.
- Manage and understand the outcome and outputs we are contracted to deliver and to ensure data is collected in a robust and timely manner for internal management purposes and that information is reliable and reconciled to the measures used by the funders. To develop management tools to provide accurate and timely information.
- To monitor the quality and quantity of information of grant making programmes to support the monitoring and reporting process.
- Ensure that all the reporting criteria for each grant program is met.
- Manage contract variations when required and to manage the risk associated with each program.
- Line manage staff as required.
- Organise and attend project meetings as and when required.
- Respond positively and constructively to internal performance management processes and to contribute to the ethos of continuous improvement within the Corporate Services & Finance directorate and BVSC.

Exams are a core tenet of producing high quality doctors and this role manages the practical delivery of exams, supporting candidates and examiners and ensuring operational excellence. The Exams Administrator has day-to-day delivery responsibility for the First FRCR exams and the Final FRCR Part A in both Clinical Radiology and Clinical Oncology. ese assessments feature both written and image-based components, delivered across different digital platforms and run over multiple sittings in both UK and global venues. The assessments are - for many – candidates first experience of the FRCR exams and of the wider organisation. The postholders work will support the RCR’s intended strategic increase in candidate numbers, notably from global candidates who have a choice of international radiology and oncology qualifications.

What you will do:

- Support candidates and their trainers with specific exam issues and queries - relieving pain points, resolving issues with sensitivity and tact and escalating where appropriate
- Support examiners to effectively undertake their duties, notably regarding quality assurance, marking and results-generation.
