We are looking for an individual with excellent communication and organisational skills who will work alongside the CEO, playing a pivotal role helping to shape the charity’s future strategy. No one should feel alone when diagnosed with primary bone cancer (PBC). The Bone Cancer Research Trust strives to provide a supportive network for all PBC patients to limit their feelings of isolation and anxiety. Given the rarity of the disease, many patients have never heard of it before they are diagnosed, and therefore access to reliable information is hugely important. The Bone Cancer Research Trust are the only charity to provide detailed information on all types of primary bone cancers and tumours. Our information has also won a British Medical Association award.
The Health Information and Content Manager will be responsible for the charity’s information provision, ensuring it is relevant, evidence based, accessible and meets the needs of everyone affected by primary bone cancer. Leading on both the maintenance of the formal production process and the development of new resources across different formats, including video and webinar content.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with a range of stakeholders, including primary bone cancer patients, their families and friends, healthcare professionals and researchers to ensure that every patient facing a diagnosis has access to the information they need and in a format that they can easily understand and use.

It's an exciting time to join World Cancer Research Fund International's policy team. In 2024, the organisation started undertaking proactive UK policy and public affairs to join our well-established international policy work.
We are recruiting a Senior Policy and Public Affairs Officer to support the development of our policy and public affairs work in the UK and evidence-based policy for both our International and UK work. We will be developing a UK Policy and Public Affairs strategy for 2025 onwards, with several influencing opportunities in the pipeline.
World Cancer Research Fund International leads and unifies a network of cancer prevention charities based in Europe, the Americas and Asia and is responsible for cancer prevention science, policy, strategic and operational direction to the network charities.
We are looking for a candidate with a passion for delivering improvements to public health and cancer prevention through policy and public affairs, who has experience advising colleagues on political matter areas and the ability to maintain up to date knowledge on political issues. Experience of sourcing, scanning for, reviewing, assessing and analysing policy documents or legislation is also key.
You will have significant professional experience in a UK policy and public affairs environment such as a charity or working in parliament - preferably in health - and a Bachelor degree (or Masters degree desirable) in public policy, public or global health, or health policy (e.g. policies on cancer, non-communicable diseases, food, obesity, physical activity) or other relevant subjects, or a Bachelor of Law.

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and dedicated professional to join the Motor Neurone Disease (MND) Association as the Head of Governance and Compliance.
This vital leadership role will ensure that our organisation maintains transparent and effective practices in charity Governance and Compliance, whilst also serving the role as the Association's Company Secretary.
You will work closely with the CEO, Chair, Board of Trustees, and the Executive Leadership Team, providing expert advice and ensuring the highest standards of governance across the organisation.
You will have a vital role in supporting the relationship between the Board, its committees, CEO, ELT and our membership, ensuring smooth communication and coordination, and that all legal and regulatory requirements are met. A key part of the role involves supporting the recruitment and development of trustees to ensure the Board is well-equipped with the skills and knowledge required to fulfil its responsibilities and contributing to the overall success of the organisation.

What are we looking for?
A dedicated and experienced professional with substantial experience of the corporate governance, preferably in a membership organisation or charity. You should ideally hold or be working towards a Chartered Governance Institute qualification, with a proven commitment to professional development in this field.
Experience of working closely with boards and senior managers is essential. You will have the ability to advise, guide, train and support colleagues and the Board on their legal, regulatory, and ethical responsibilities and duties.
Experience of developing corporate policy and effective systems in support of organisational objectives and activities. Additionally, you will demonstrate strong communication and report-writing skills, and the ability to present complex issues and information effectively at Board level.
