About the Role
As a member of the User Engagement team, your role will be integral to supporting and enhancing the University's CRM system for development and alumni engagement. Key responsibilities include:
· User Training and Engagement: Develop and update training courses, create learning materials, and facilitate workshops to ensure effective user engagement with the DARS system.
· Business Process Improvement: Analyse and enhance business processes to optimize the functionality and efficiency of the DARS system.
· Support and Relationship Management: Provide comprehensive support through one-on-one coaching, project assistance, and managing key business partnerships to maintain strong collaborative relationships.
To Be Successful You’ll Need:
· Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to clearly convey information and facilitate training sessions, workshops, and presentations.

The Finance Business Partner position is a newly created role within the charity, created to facilitate significant recent and upcoming growth owing to the success of their programmes. About the role
The SPFRA, reports to the Head of Programme Finance and focuses in supporting and advising on project financial management and donor compliance to key stakeholders across the organisation. - Work closely with these teams to process charges generated from their databases and ensure invoices are raised accurately and in a timely fashion.
- Ensure cash receipts are posted to the appropriate accounts and the appropriate VAT treatment applied.
- Support the account management of key clients; to ensure the booking and billing process is smooth and their commercial experience is seamless.
- Preparation of daily Treasurer’s cash report and weekly income reports for distribution to stakeholders.
- Manage aged debtor balances and the receivables ledger, ensuring that strict procedures are followed to mitigate bad debt through structured debt collection procedures.
- Complete month-end/year-end closure procedures including monthly bank reconciliations.
This position will be based at the Conservative Party’s central Leeds office and requires four days per week of working from their office. Essential Criteria:

Exciting opportunity for a qualified accountant to join a world renowned international humanitarian charity during a time of growth and expansion. The successful individual will play a central role in helping the organisation be more effective and efficient. You will work towards these ambitions through developing and implementing changes to finance processes and systems. This will be achieved by leading on a portfolio of improvement projects. In addition, the role-holder will use their skills in Excel, accounting software and reporting to provide ad hoc support to the finance team by identifying and implementing iterative improvements to finance processes and systems where needed.
Key areas of responsibility:
- Design of an effective and sustainable process for a purchase to pay procedure, which includes the payments of expenses and credit cards (seeking significant improvements to current procedures).
- Developing a business case for possible new systems which may be required to deliver new procedures.
- Working with the fundraising team to improve the flow of data between the fundraising database and finance system, including ensuring the coding structure is fit for purpose.
