The successful candidate will be an asset within Salford Royal Hospital, providing education to staff and patients on pathways into community provision to support discharge from the hospital.
We are looking for someone to work with patients to ensure access to community support, activities and services that enable individuals to be discharged appropriately. You will work as part of the team planning and facilitating the discharge of individuals at Salford Royal Hospital.
You’ll use a strengths or assets-based social prescribing (person-centred) approach to address the needs of individual patients during the discharge planning and admission process.
Are you the person we’re looking for?
Do you have:
- Experience working with individuals with multiple needs and who may be facing a range of barriers and/or social issues
- Experience working with individuals (1-2-1) to help them achieve their goals
- Experience working in a person-centred way with individuals through strengths/assets-based conversations
- A sound working knowledge of person-centred and community approaches and/or social prescribing
- The ability to work flexibly – including unsocial hours on occasion (early mornings, evenings and weekends)

Community Coffee Shop Supervisor, to serve customers and maintain high standards in SCT x Paper and Cup.
Role and responsibilities
- Greet Customers in a warm, friendly and welcoming manner
- Always maintain excellent customer relations with clear communication
- Brew excellent coffee and beverages including ‘latte art’
- Prepare orders to customers specifications
- Maintain excellent level of hygiene in food preparation and service areas
- Ensure high level of personal hygiene and appearance (including the wearing of protective clothing at all times)
- Comply with Health and Safety regulations
- To follow the SCT x Paper and Cups policies and procedures
- Follow cash handling procedures, policies, use of the cash register and ability to ‘cash up’ at the end of your shift as and when required
- Perform cleaning tasks per the rota
- Report any machine faults to the manager
- Ensure all comments and complaints are raised to the Manager
- Carry out other duties as may reasonably required
- In consultation with the Shop Manager, sell donated stock and receive donations, storing appropriately for processing
- Maintain stock levels of donated goods ensuring a quality retail offer in the shop
- To be willing to cover at other shops when, and if, necessary

Outdoor and Sustainability Education Specialists (OASES) are looking to recruit an Administration Officer, for a 30 hours per week post, working with the OASES team.

We are looking for an Administration Officer who shares our vision to ‘Creating a more sustainable world where all children can thrive’.
The post holder will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the OASES office, administration and equipment.
The successful candidate will be organised and proactive and will work well with the OASES team. They will have good ICT skills, specifically to help maintain OASES promotion, including website, social media and email accounts/mailouts. They will help the OASES team to get out, maintain and put away equipment and create/print/laminate and cut out resources.
The ideal candidate will provide excellent front of house service and will be friendly and welcoming to visitors and callers.
Enhanced DBS disclosure will be required.
