We seek a dynamic leader with excellent interpersonal skills to join our team as Head of Partnerships and Placements on a 12 month fixed-term contract basis. The ideal candidate must excel in building and sustaining partnerships, managing strategic projects, and leading a team to achieve significant results.
You will be allocating 500 placements for Approach Social Work participants and recruiting leaders for and sell other Frontline programmes or services. This is directly linked to achieving Frontline’s organisational objective of having 4,000 impactful Fellows by 2025, who will create social change for children without a safe or stable home.

A little bit about you
The ideal candidate will be an experienced account management and sales professional, skilled in setting and achieving demanding sales targets. We are looking for someone with a strong track record in managing complex projects, leveraging external stakeholder relationships, and and balancing different needs. With excellent people management skills, you will balance support and challenge, and be adept at using data and CRM systems to manage relationships and generate insights.
We have a fast-moving culture within the team and organisation, so we’re looking for someone who is who is well organised, details-focused and can use their initiative to do what works. You will have excellent communication skills, be able to build relationships with people and be willing to learn. Outward is a London based charity and is seeking a Deputy Manager to support the management of a respite service in Tower Hamlets.
Are you experienced and knowledgeable about working with adults with a learning disability/autism and complex needs or Positive behaviour support needs? Are you enthusiastic, motivated and committed?
This is an exciting opportunity to utilise your skills to support the Team manager in coaching and mentoring the staff team, and to embed high standards in the running of the service.
You will be working closely with family carers, professionals and borough wide services to ensure guests have an enjoyable stay and that each person’s needs are met.
The respite service supports about 80 adults with learning disabilities and autism to have overnight stays at each year. This newly renovated 7 bed service provides support to people from the borough who have a vast range of support needs. Positioned next to the open space of Victoria Park and all the opportunities that London has to offer, guests enjoy a range of activities both in house and in the community.

About the role

· You will be responsible for ensuring the service is safe, effective, caring, well led, responsive and managed to meet CQC essential standards to a minimum of good service and with aim of achievement of outstanding.
· You will support the team to develop support plans and risk assessments that reflect people’s needs, preferences and aspirations; creating a culture where plans are actively implemented and reviewed so that people are supported in the way that they want.
· Your time at work will be split between support shifts and administration.
About You
· Experience of managing a service for people with a learning disability/autism and complex needs or behaviours of concern is essential
· You will have experience of staff management and the ability to lead, motivate and develop a large team, ensuring staff are appropriately trained. You will be visible in the service and strive to model best practice and inspire support workers.
· A qualification in Positive Behaviour Support Coaching (BILD accredited), or a willingness to gain the qualifications within the first 12 months of employment is essential.
· You will be an excellent communicator liaising effectively with key stakeholders including the multi-disciplinary and health professionals, family carers and people we support.
· You will be able to think creatively and be adaptable in approaches, with experience of implementing emergency management guidance to support staff.
· Experience of carrying out needs assessments and creating support and risk management plans and be committed to include the person, and their circle of support at all times.
· A commitment to providing high quality, personalised active support
· Leading by example, you will uphold the rights of people we support to be involved at all levels of decision making.
· You will share our values and passion to engage, enable and empower people with autism or a learning disability to lead the lives they want.
· Knowledge of managing a budget or a willingness to learn the required skills

About the Role
A unique and exciting opportunity has arisen to work as Mental Health IDVA co-located in Mental Health Services. As an MH IDVA you will provide immediate support for victim/survivors of abuse working with mental health including carrying out risk and needs assessments, safety planning and providing short-term support and onward referral. In addition, you will act as an domestic abuse and mental health lead for Solace in Barnet providing advice and guidance to Solace staff and mental health teams.
You will be working as part of a multidisciplinary team and collaborating with external agencies in your work.

This role will be to support the perpetrator intervention across Wiltshire.
You will be primarily based in Wiltshire supporting the Domestic Abuse Serial Perpetrator (DASP) project, providing bespoke specialist support to perpetrators of domestic abuse. The post holder will work as part of the IOM team within a dynamic, fast paced, crisis intervention, advocacy and support service to ensure that clients who show abusive behaviour are supported through every stage of the process of change. Evening appointments are necessary for this post in Salisbury and Chippenham.
In addition, you will support the delivery of the CPR (Choosing Positive Relationships) Domestic Violence Perpetrator Programme (DVPP), which is an intensive behaviour change programme, designed to increase knowledge and understanding around domestic abuse, the impact on children and healthy relationships. The course teaches tools and strategies to help someone change their behaviour. The CPR group will require weekly evening work in Wiltshire.
The post-holder will be expected to work to Respect standards.
Full training will be available for this role.
Client Based Duties
- Identify and assess the risks and needs of individuals who are abusive in a relationship or other domestic setting, using an evidence-based risk identification checklist.
- Develop personalised risk assessments and safety plans for each service user.
- Advocate for individuals who wish to address their abusive behaviour and show motivation for change with agencies who can help to address the domestic abuse by:
- Understanding the role of all relevant statutory and non-statutory services available to those who are abusive and how your role fits into them.
- Providing advocacy, emotional and practical support and information to individuals, including in relation to drug and alcohol, housing, health and finance.
- Working directly with all key agency partners to address the impact of the abusive behaviour on the safety of high risk victims and ensuring that their safety plans are coordinated.
- Support the client to recognise the abusive behaviour and the effect that it has on their families and assist them in recognising the features and dynamics of domestic abuse present in their situation and help them change unhealthy patterns of behaviour.
- Understand multi-agency partnership structures and work within a multi-agency setting which may include participation at the MAPPA/MARAC. You will contribute interventions and help design a plan to protect victims and any children, while maintaining an independent role on behalf of your client, keeping the victim and any children’s safety as central to any response.
- Ensure support provided is accessible to clients in terms of location and times.
- Be proactive with your line manager in carrying out regular case reviews based on a review of risk and abuse which:
- Feeds back into action planning to further progress, signpost or close cases and;
- Provides feedback to your clients/agencies.
- Help maintain accurate and confidential case management records and databases and contribute to monitoring information for the service.

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a qualified and experienced Social Worker to join the team, working 28 hours per week.
Young lives vs Cancer is open to and in support of flexible working. We currently use a hybrid working model. This role falls under the hybrid - variable category. This role is part home, part site based (your contractual base will be both Home and Addenbrooke’s Hospital). You will have the opportunity to work remotely / from home within the parameters of our hybrid working arrangements. Your flexibility requirements and that of the role will be discussed at the interview stage.
The office-based working will be at Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge, to provide support to children and young people (0-24 years, with a focus on over 13’s) diagnosed with cancer and leukaemia, and their families.

About the Team
We recently launched a new 3-year partnership with a leading UK bank, with a strategy centred on building the UK’s financial resilience. Together we aim to break the vicious cycles that leave people with poor financial health which may negatively impact their housing situation. The project aims to improve and challenge financial resilience by delivering specialist advice and intervention and gaining evidence and insight into the issues.
Our three Communities Teams are responsible for identifying, investigating and intervening in housing and homelessness practice issues. We engage with our local communities to understand the issues people are facing and apply expert housing knowledge, insight and analysis to identify solutions to them. About the role
You’ll be responsible for providing money and debt advice, advocacy and casework to clients, including homelessness prevention and financial resilience. We’ll also rely on you to deliver housing and financial health/resilience workshops to a variety of audiences, including clients and their families, local professionals and volunteers.

About the Role
Chance UK has been delivering early-intervention services across London since 1995. Our longest running programme is our mentoring service where Mentors pick the child up from home and run a 1:1 session in the community, once a week for 2 hours. They use the solution-focused approach to work on building the child’s self-esteem and confidence, set goals and explore new places.

Job Outline:
CFAB is a national charity and the UK branch of the International Social Service network. CFAB’s social work team helps to resolve cases involving child protection, children in care, unaccompanied children, and vulnerable adults when the case crosses international borders. CFAB social workers and caseworkers offer advice and guidance to individuals and local authorities and help to link social work services between the UK and other countries.
The main purpose of this role is to assist with the day to day running of the CFAB Advice Line and manage a caseload of allocated inter-country cases originating from the UK or overseas.
Key responsibilities:
To participate in running the advice line service and responding to enquiries made to CFAB:
- Offer advice to local authority professionals, NGOs and individuals on international child protection issues and casework
- Advise on CFAB referral procedure and fees
- Send follow-up information and documents to enquirers
- Liaise with overseas partners for advice and country-specific information
To manage a caseload of allocated cases originating from the UK or overseas:
- Offer advice and guidance to referrers on good practice in international child protection casework
- Assess cases referred to CFAB, identifying the intervention required and the resources/agency to undertake it
- Prepare information for referral abroad or to an agency in the UK
- Establish, develop and maintain good relationships with clients and/or agencies in the UK and overseas to ensure the progression of cases to resolution
- Ensure smooth implementation of finance systems including invoicing for casework
- Ensure that all cases are dealt with in a manner consistent with CFAB guidelines and good practice standards
To support administration and quality assurance of CFAB’s case management:
- Collate and compile data on country information
- Input new case referrals to electronic case system
- Support the preparation for weekly case allocations meetings
- Monitor incoming email enquiries and referrals
- Liaise with social work database provider on behalf of the Social Work Team
- Update and maintain team databases
To support the development of the Social Work Team and wider CFAB team:
- Participate in social work and CFAB team meetings
- Actively participate in regular supervision meetings with line manager
- Represent CFAB appropriately to external partners
- Contribute to special projects and training delivery as required
To be adaptable and willing to take on new roles and responsibilities as the services of CFAB develop in response to the changing needs
Person specification: (Skills, Abilities, Knowledge and Experience)
Essential:
- Degree level education or equivalent work experience
- Understanding of the local and international rights of children and families
- Understanding of the needs of children separated from their families and at risk of harm
- Ability to respect and maintain confidentiality
- Be self-motivated and able to work independently
- Ability to establish good relationships with service users and stakeholders
- Reliability and commitment
- I.T. literate
- Fluency in English
- Ability to plan, record and evaluate through recording and written reports
- Ability to work non-judgementally with vulnerable clients
- Ability to prioritise workload
- Ability to work as part of a team
Desirable:
- Work experience in relevant child and family work
- Experience in advice work/working on a helpline
- Fluency in Spanish, French, or another language
- Good presentation skills
- Experience of working with vulnerable children or adults
- Knowledge of Salesforce
- Knowledge of domestic and international child protection legislation and policies
