SIGNPOSTING AND FOODBANK SESSION COORDINATOR

Lambeth & Croydon Foodbank (part of Oasis Hub Waterloo)

FULL-TIME or PART-TIME: 32-40 HOURS PER WEEK

FIXED-TERM CONTRACT: 12 months, although will be extended if funding continues

SALARY: £33,422 for 1FTE

We have an exciting opportunity for a Signposting and Collection Session Coordinator as part of our Foodbank team. This new role will provide dedicated 1-2-1 support to people accessing the Foodbank, delivering Foodbank collection sessions and developing our remote and in-person signposting and support for those accessing the Foodbank. This is a fast-faced, person-centered role, having a direct impact on the lives of local people experiencing hardship

Key responsibilities of this role will be:

• Providing operational support to Foodbank collection centres in host venues across Lambeth and Croydon
• Providing and developing wraparound support to those accessing the Foodbank
• Delivering and developing in-person and remote signposting
• Working with volunteers, partner organisations and host venues to provide effective and efficient support through collection sessions and beyond

The successful post holder must have:

• Proven experience of working or volunteering within a not-for-profit organisation/other food bank
• Experience working with people with multiple and complex needs
• Excellent communication skills

• The Connection Community is a place where people can gain respite from street homelessness, engage in group and coproduction activities, develop social inclusion and reduce isolation and have their needs met by a committed and dedicated multi-disciplinary team.

Supporting Families at Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital

Since 2008, Citizens Advice Camden has provided a pioneering and well-regarded advice service at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) — the first of its kind in a UK children’s hospital. The service supports families of seriously ill and disabled children who are receiving treatment at GOSH, helping them navigate the life-changing socio-economic impacts of their child’s illness. We work closely with GOSH staff and partners — including social workers, family support officers, chaplains, and other stakeholders — to offer technical advice and casework that complements the hospital’s wider support services.

The issues families face can include reduced income, unsuitable housing, debt, and accessing benefits — especially during long or repeated hospital stays. Many families continue to receive our support over months or years, and our work is rooted in partnership, compassion, and a strong commitment to GOSH’s ‘One Team’ ethos.

The Role: Generalist Adviser/Caseworker

We are seeking an experienced adviser/caseworker to join the service. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality, holistic advice and in-depth casework across a range of social welfare issues, with a strong focus on welfare benefits (including appeals) and housing, including complex and disrepair cases. You will provide tailored, long-term support to families, managing multi-issue caseloads with sensitivity and a commitment to empowering clients. Close collaboration with healthcare and support professionals at GOSH is essential to ensure integrated and effective service delivery. You will also contribute to research and campaigns by gathering social policy evidence and maintain accurate, detailed case records to support monitoring and evaluation.

To succeed in this role, you will need experience in advice and casework—particularly in welfare benefits and housing—along with confidence in using digital systems and tools for remote working. You should be proactive, well-organised, and capable of handling a demanding and emotionally complex workload. Strong communication skills are essential, as is an understanding of the social and economic challenges faced by families of seriously ill children. You must hold, or be able to provide evidence of meeting, MaPS accreditation at advice and casework level.

Being available onsite is an important aspect of this role and so this role is hybrid working. The exact split between remote/onsite working will be by agreement with the line manager and to meet the needs of the project, which could change over time.

Appointment to the role is subject to being granted GOSH honorary staff status, which includes full compliance with GOSH policies and training requirements, as well as a satisfactory enhanced DBS check.

About the role:

The purpose of this role is to provide step-down support to service users who have received support from the Angelou service, the domestic abuse service operating in Hammersmith, Westminster and Kensington and Chelsea

This role will provide a bridge between IDVA support and case closure, offering a service to women who require additional ongoing support, such as support with ongoing safety, wellbeing, or achieving independence. The service will support individuals to achieve their goals and aspirations through individual key work, targeted outcomes-focused interventions and person-centred support planning, utilising a fully flexible approach enabling service users to choose who they would like to support them with each task.

The step-down case worker will provide tailored, non-crisis support to clients, and will create a person centred and strength based step-down plan in conjunction with each of her clients, which might include:

• Providing advice on benefits, tenancy rights or signposting when necessary
• Facilitating access to training or/and employment /volunteering
• Helping them maintain and develop their skill base, (re)gain general IT skills, including providing particular support with CV writing
• Linking up with community groups
• Other strategies to decrease isolation
• Organise key worker sessions with individual clients to focus on empowerment, healthy relationship awareness and resilience, confidence building, mindfulness.

You will work within the team to make proactive contact and provide high quality advocacy and support based upon a client led needs and risk assessment to women from aged 16.

You will primarily work with low-medium risk clients, holding a caseload of survivors.

You will also be required to work as part of Advance’s duty system on a rota basis which will involve completing intake assessments and providing crisis intervention support.

About You:

To be a Step-Down Caseworker you will:

Have a thorough understanding of violence against women and girls with a particular focus on the dynamics of domestic violence and its impact on women, children, families and communities. Experienced of supporting women who have experienced domestic violence, forced marriage or ‘honour’-based violence. Experience of crisis management and successfully managing a busy and complex caseload and experience of risk and needs assessment and safety and support planning, particularly with clients with complex/multiple needs.

Mind in Camden has the exciting permanent opportunity to recruit people to work on our leading Hearing Voices Projects.

We are seeking a motivated and experienced individual to take responsibility for the day-to-day work of our innovative Hearing Voices Projects. To be successful in this role, you need to have an in-depth understanding of the Hearing Voices Movement and the role of peer support groups within this. You will ideally have experience of supervising or mentoring volunteers and some project management experience.

With the confidence and organisational skills necessary to take the lead on busy and diverse projects, you will be required to engage with a wide range of stakeholders (from the adult mental health, prison, forensic and youth sectors). As such, this role is best suited to someone who is flexible enough to modify their approach to suit the situation.

We are looking for someone with strong facilitation skills who is able to deliver and design training that communicates the values of the Hearing Voices Network clearly and accessibly.

Among other tasks, you will be required to:

• Oversee the current Hearing Voices Projects to ensure they are consistent and embody the Mind in Camden and Hearing Voices Movement ethos.
• Be part of some of the frontline work, including facilitating groups.
• Build networks and deliver training sessions for the Hearing Voices Projects.
• Liaise with the finance department and ensure the projects are meeting targets for funders.
• Support relevant data monitoring and evaluation on the projects.

Job Title: Deputy Service Manager

This is an opportunity to join Refuge as a Deputy Service Manager, supporting a high performing team to provide high quality, trauma informed support to victim/survivors of Domestic Abuse and their children, living in our safe accommodation. The deputy manager will contribute to the management of our dispersed accommodation service, in line with Refuge’s policies and procedures and quality management system.

The post holder will provide line management and support to staff, mainly Floating Support Workers. This will include providing supervision on complex casework issues such as child protection, overseeing operational emergencies and ensuring high standards of housing management. 

Working closely with the Service Manager to ensure that contractual and other funding requirements are met fully, and that Refuge’s high-quality standards are maintained, the role may involve visiting potential sites and contributing to the establishment of new services in conjunction with the development team. The job involves working closely with staff that supports victim/survivors of Domestic Abuse in crisis using our services.

As a member of the management team, the post holder will be required to participate in an out-of-hours rota management service.

There is also a requirement to have access to a vehicle, as regular travel across Warwickshire between properties will be required.

This post is restricted to women due to the nature of the role. The Occupational Requirement under Schedule 9 (part 1) of the Equality Act 2010 applies.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Counselling Coordinator to work across the Greater Manchester footprint, working specifically with women. The post-holder will work alongside the Counselling & Psychotherapy Manager to support with the assessment and allocation of women for the appropriate therapeutic intervention. You will play an integral role in supporting and developing our service model, including recruitment, development and line management of volunteer and trainee therapists.

The post-holder will be part of our multi-disciplinary team and will work flexibly to meet the needs of the service. The Role

These roles offer flexibility for home and office working with travel to appointments to meet clients across London is required.

As an Independent Victim Advocate you will provide high quality, holistic support to clients, including victims of sexual violence. As a Complex Case Independent Victim Advocate you will work Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm with some evening and weekend working on occasion.

You will need to be able to manage a demanding workload, travel to appointments with clients and to meet a range of conflicting deadlines.

About You

You will have:

• An understanding of the impact of crime on victims such as anti-social behaviour, domestic abuse, sexual violence and hate crime.
• A proven track record of successfully delivering services and working directly within a statutory, voluntary or multi agency setting(s).
• Experience of managing a caseload including complex case management.
• Experience of outcome focussed working
• A full UK driving licence, access to a vehicle and business insurance essential for some areas, for example rural locations (requirement will be discussed at interview)

About the Role

As Mental Health and Wellbeing Manager you will help promote positive mental health coping strategies and the overall wellbeing of clients through various practices that ultimately empower people to take control of their own mental health and wellbeing. 

You will take the lead on developing creative and innovative initiatives that contribute to positive mental health outcomes and personal wellbeing in every aspect of your work.  These initiatives will be based on the Endeavour principle of co-production where we will take an asset-based approach focussing on what is strong in people and the spaces and communities we operate in.

Key responsibilities include:

About You
