As Project Support Officer you will support the Area Manager and Regional Manager with volunteer recruitment, documentation of training, giving our volunteers a fantastic experience, guest outreach and giving extra support to our West Midlands projects as and when required to aid development and growth within the region.​​​

Each of our Projects is run by Project Leaders (volunteer position) and supported by Regional Managers through recruitment and training of volunteers. You will support the Regional Managers so that they can manage more projects, knowing that you have helped with the embedding of volunteers, along with supporting expansion plans within their areas. This support could range from developing relationships with our food suppliers, researching local organisations to support with guest outreach, and recruiting new Project Leaders for the Area.​

You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and be able to talk confidently to external people about our Projects.​You will also be a good organizer, with the ability to manage multiple tasks within multiple Projects. You will have a passion for food and cooking, and be committed to our objectives and ethics.​

This role will require some attendance at our Community Meals projects, to support with delivery as necessary, which will include some evening and weekend work. A full driving license and access to a vehicle for work purposes is essential for this exciting role.​

We are delighted to have secured funding to set up and establish a robust impact and data collection process and database so that clear outcomes can be measured and collected for the different areas within our adoption support services. This is a new role and the postholder will play a key part in delivering on this work.

Working alongside Adoption Support colleagues, the Database Officer will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy of the database, ensuring data is kept up to date as well as inputting, monitoring and evaluating data and service user details.  They will also contribute to the collection of feedback and case studies from service users.

The Database Officer will produce comprehensive and tailored reports using both qualitative and quantitative data, derived from the new monitoring and evaluation system.  These evidence-based reports are produced for a variety of audiences and will contribute to evidencing the effectiveness of PACT’s adoption support services.

We are looking for someone with previous experience in an administrative support role, with database and/or data capture administration experience.  To succeed in this role, you will be proficient in producing reports from a database with a keen eye for accuracy and detail and have strong data analysis skills with an ability to derive meaningful insights.

Role Purpose

Provide strategic leadership for KLS’ Refugee Family Programme, ensuring that programme direction and delivery is strategically aligned, responds to learning and changes in context, and maximises our impact in the community.

Key Responsibilities 

• Providing clear and steady leadership and management to all aspects of our newly formed Refugee Family programme, which has grown out of previous separate projects to better meet the holistic needs of people we support.
• Managing and developing the budget and finances; whilst supporting the fundraising lead to secure its financial viability.
• Directly lead the scoping and planning of the Refugee Family Programme Strategy to:
  • Develop and expand existing programmes.
  • Identify opportunities to create, innovate and improve projects within the Refugee Family Programme - such as community outreach workshops, advocacy support, Educational Classes, and Groups, Mentoring and Clubs - to meet the needs of the people we support and those who may need our support in the future.
  • Undertake regular horizon scanning and environmental analysis to ensure KLS has a full understanding of the potential for growth and programme development associated with the current, future and changing demand and need. 
  • Build and maintain effective networks and partnerships that will ultimately support people to realise their potential.
  • Work with the Chief Operating Officer to develop appropriate processes, systems and working practices that create a continuous improvement approach and ensure insights-based impact reporting, evaluation and decision making.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Administration

• Ensure all member and project records are kept up to date on Salesforce.
• Work with the Senior Leadership and Finance Director to manage the programme budget, maintain financial records, monitor income and expenditure against budgets and targets, and report regularly and accurately to KLS’ Senior Leadership Team and Board of Trustees.
• Oversee the team’s use of our database, Salesforce, for managing the programme, ensuring data accuracy and completeness, and working with external consultants to customise and integrate the database with KLS’ website, referral, and evaluation forms.

Safeguarding

• Responsible for embedding safeguarding best practice and ensuring adherence to policies and procedures across the programme team, ensuring that safeguarding is at the forefront of KLS’ delivery.
• Act as the Designated Safeguarding Lead for the Refugee Family Programme Team, working with Safeguarding Officers and Duty Leads to ensure all safeguarding concerns are managed and recorded appropriately and safeguarding cover is maintained across the team in line with KLS’ procedures.

The Supporter Development Fundraising Lead will play a crucial role. We are looking for a high energy, passionate fundraiser who is highly relational. You will work towards the income targets including regular, one off and mission pot donations. In addition, you will understand goals that work together with income, including acquisition and stewardship targets, applying your strong knowledge of the Code of Fundraising Practice across all our activities and ensure we work in a compliant way.   

The ideal candidate will be familiar with fundraising methods including prospecting, research, making initial contact, and growing a connection to our movement through one-to-one conversations and other communications channels. We’re looking for somebody who is highly organised and able to deliver events from concept to finish. You will also be a team player, able to engage and motivate other team members to get on board with fundraising and bring their expertise to the process.

To offer practical and emotional support to children and young people aged 0-16 years, who are living with the effects of Domestic Abuse and Violence, and overcoming the traumatic impact on their lives. The support is offered during their time in the refuge, through the transition from refuge to their new home and ongoing support in the community. Support is also offered to children who live in the wider community who access the service independently. To liaise and work together with all other agencies involved with the families, in order to meet their ongoing needs appropriately and effectively. What you'll do:

* To ensure that the needs of children and young people in the refuge are assessed as part of admission and the duration of their stay
* To plan and implement a programme of therapeutic and recreational activities for children and young people living both at the refuge and in the community, as well as play-work and activity trips * To provide individual, age appropriate key working sessions for children of all ages. With a focus on safeguarding, including risk and safety planning, emotional & physical health & wellbeing, education and social & family networks
* To encourage and support mothers to build loving and consistent relationships with their children * To work in partnership with all agencies in relation to safeguarding children following both local and national approaches around Early Help Assessments, CIN, TAF and Child Protection Protocols
* To act as the Lead Practitioner in early help assessments and using early help principles to develop support plans for sub-threshold families, ensuring effective multi-agency involvement.
* To write and contribute to the completion of Reports for Courts and Children's Social Care Conferences and meetings regarding the families, when required.

Location: Ideally based in Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex or Greater London (north) with the ability to travel within this region.

Hours: Full-time (37 hours per week) or open to part-time (22 hours per week)

Main Responsibilities:

· Conduct Health and Safety site audits to a schedule across Family Action’s Central region.

· Support responsible managers with risk assessments across Family Action’s Central region.

· Support and give advice to local management teams regarding their Health & Safety system, through regular meetings and tickets raised within the Facilities helpdesk.

· To work closely with the Head of Facilities to develop corporate services for Family Action’s Central region sites.

· Help develop the Facilities departments’ JWA (SLA) and ensure they are consistently applied and regional measurables are reported to the Head of Facilities.

· Assist local management teams with planning and undertaking repairs and refurbishment as well as the day-to-day maintenance of Family Action assets (properties and equipment) in conjunction with the relevant budget holders and landlords.

· Monitor and respond to tickets raised within the Facilities helpdesk system (SalesForce), as well as all relevant emails sent to the Facilities mailboxes.

· Collaborate with stakeholders and suppliers, including the engagement of new suppliers and nurturing of existing relationships through meetings and KPIs.

· Member of IWFM to at minimum at Affiliate level (or equivalent).

· Trained to IOSH Managing Safely Level.

· Good working knowledge of standards and legislation applicable to Facilities Management.

JOB DESCRITPION

Title: Team Manager Family Service.

Main responsibilities

· To manage and oversee the day to day running of the family service, ensuring it is operating in a safe and effective manner.

· To monitor the quality-of-service delivery and ensure its high standards through regular and planned series of observations, audit and review.

· Lead on monitoring outcomes against the Supporting Families Programme framework criteria.

· To report on and collate monthly and quarterly data collection.

· To attend quarterly Commissioner meetings.

· Lead on the recruitment of Family Support Workers

Key Duties

· Provide appropriate monthly supervision to both Family Team Seniors.

· Lead in the recruitment of family workers, development of job specifications, staff recruitment, staff induction programmes, appropriate supervision and support training for new staff and volunteers.
