• Drive the approach and continual evolution for the Leadership Programmes ensuring the design, development and implementation of a high- quality L&D curriculum for the learning community.
• Shape, plan, schedule, implement and evaluate each element of the learning design including residential modules, mentoring, action-learning, senior leadership experiences and learning projects.

• Collate trends and data from the evaluations and participants to inform future design, and to demonstrate the impact of the programme.
• Present at governance meetings and any other relevant project boards, to consult with and influence senior leaders across the Church.
• Manage administrative support which is provided by a Project Co-Ordinator.
• Responsibility for Measurement and Evaluation of your contribution to the whole L&D team's work - assessing the contribution of the various learning interventions in building strategic capacity across the Church.
• Developing the use of fresh tools (e.g. psychometric tools) to support senior clergy in their development planning and to provide psychometric support to selection processes as required.
• Contributing to the development and facilitation of bespoke learning interventions for various groups as needs emerge e.g. action-learning groups, development for BAME clergy and Church Traditions, or the design of cross learning community events.
• Helping to build and maintain a high-quality pool of external coaches and teaching faculty.
• Embedding learning from the various leadership modules through enabling team effectiveness programmes for bishops' senior teams and cathedral chapters.
• Coach senior leaders from any of the leadership programmes as the opportunities arise.
• Contributing to writing reports for key bodies when required, including the House of Bishops, the College of Bishops and General Synod if required.
• Deputising for the Head of Senior Leadership Development in internal and external meetings.
• Serving on discernment panels for the Strategic Leadership Development Programme.
• Contributing to the 'knowledge capital 'on leadership in the Church and to the organisational learning that arises from the programmes.
• Any other duties as required and commensurate with the post.

We are recruiting a Legacy Fundraiser to grow PAPYRUS’ legacy income by creating and implementing a multi-year legacy strategy, planning and delivering activities in this area and managing residuary, specific and pecuniary cases. 

What you will do: 

• Develop and implement a legacy strategy and operational plan for long term growth.

• Research and develop new legacy activities and create a marketing plan. Project manage the day-to-day planning and delivery of activities central to the legacy marketing program, including: direct mail, email marketing, digital, social media, events, and the promotion of tribute funds and free will services.

• Work closely with the Fundraising Manager and communications team to develop a compelling legacy proposition and produce a suite of legacy and in memory marketing materials that can be used to engage and inspire supporters to take the next step in their legacy giving, including sharing inspiring, compelling case studies to support legacy marketing and in memory activity, including gathering stories from legacy and in memory supporters.

• Work across income generation and with other departments to identify and target legacy prospects within the existing supporter base and other potential legacy audiences across all of PAPYRUS’ networks.

• Identify opportunities to cross promote legacy and in memory giving to supporters as well as any activity from across the charity that could provide appropriate cultivation and stewardship opportunities for existing and prospective Legacy and In Memory supporters.

• Provide teams with relevant, engaging and impactful content, messaging or resources for inclusion in cross-team supporter communications.

To be successful in this role you will have: 

• English and Maths GCSE or equivalent grade C or above

• Previous experience of working in a fundraising role for a UK registered charity 

• Proven track record of effective relationship management with donors/ fundraisers

• Experience of handling sensitive information appropriately 

• Experience of working effectively within a team environment and assisting colleagues 

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to write reports. 

• Experience using Raiser’s edge or a similar CRM database.

About the role

As our Corporate and Community Partnerships Lead, within our Marketing and Communications team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining partnerships that increase income and diversify funding with local community organisations, businesses and other bodies.

As Railway Children’s Community Engagement Worker (London), you will energise key stakeholders to come together to collectively keep vulnerable young people safe on the rail network. You will build and strengthen partnerships with – and between – the rail industry, British Transport Police (BTP) and others working locally with vulnerable young people in order to drive forward innovative approaches to contextual safeguarding.

We are looking for an experienced professional to take a key role in our grant-making team as our second grants officer.  You will be comfortable analysing applications for funding and making informed recommendations, as well as a highly competent database user, comfortable with “super user” responsibilities. In addition, you will take a lead on data – reporting on, representing and interrogating our grant-making data.  You will also be lead contact on a limited number of funds, so must be confident managing relationships with stakeholders.   Finally, you will oversee our grantee feedback process; managing process for receipt, collation and distribution of grant feedback. 

So, if you are database-confident, numerate, analytical, self-motivated, highly organised and comfortable taking the initiative, this could be the opportunity for you.  You would be an integral part of a great team getting much needed grants to worthy causes all over Kent & Medway.

Main duties and responsibilities

 Technology provision

- To co-ordinate the application and consultation process for children’s palliative care services invited to apply for new packages of technology.

- To create documentation annually to capture all equipment requests, costings and associated partnership agreements.

- To co-ordinate technology installation schedules and liaise with Lifelites Champions to ensure efficient project delivery.

- To produce handouts and user guides for installation and ongoing training sessions aligned to Lifelites technology installation schedule.

- To attend and support the delivery of events, installations and Lifelites functions and represent Lifelites within children’s palliative care settings and forums.

- To provide administrative support for new technology pilots and other innovation activity.

- To support the development of Lifelites 25th anniversary activities, which are currently in development.

Learning and development

- To respond to training requests and co-ordinate installation and ongoing face-to-face training by liaising with Lifelites Champions, Lifelites Trainer and Head of Services to book dates and prepare training itineraries.

- To co-ordinate Lifelites Super User events including venue bookings, scheduling and training providers.

- To capture and monitor training feedback and prepare briefings for Head of Services and Trainer.

- To support the development and implementation of Lifelites e-learning platform, including course modules, interactive learning and activity ideas.

Partner engagement

- To support ongoing quality improvement by delivering regular account calls, responding to queries and maintaining up to date contact information for Lifelites Champions and other key stakeholders.

• To be responsible for a caseload of learners with EHCP's aged 16-25 years

Role Summary

The Operations Executive will join a small but rapidly growing team working at GH50/50. Within this role, and in close collaboration with the Head of Operations you will ensure high quality administrative support across GH50/50, setting the entire team up for success. This is a crucial role that will ensure that things run effectively and efficiently in support of our mission.

This is a brand new role for GH50/50, therefore we are looking for a bright, self-starter who can work with the Head of Operations to shape the role; providing recommendations to the organisation on administrative processes and own their projects from conception to delivery.  You will play a pivotal role in supporting the charity's administrative and strategic initiatives as we enter a new phase of growth. We foresee that the successful candidate will enjoy variety, will be highly organised and will have a can-do attitude.

Job Responsibilities:

o Support the Head of Operations in the smooth and efficient running of the GH50/50 office.

o Collaborate with the Head of Operations to source and roll out a new organisation-wide management system for GH50/50, ensuring thoughtful integration into our current working practices.

o Organise the Co-CEOs calendars, including scheduling meetings and appointments.

o Support the Head of Operations to prepare and manage correspondence, reports, and documents as required.

o Alongside the Head of Operations, maintain effective office management and administrative procedures.

o Manage and triage the organisational email account

o Monitor and update the organisation-wide contact database

o Ensure compliance with data protection and ethics legislation, including being up to date with GDPR requirements (training can be provided).

o Coordinate support to the team on basic financial management tasks, including expense claims and other reporting.

o Arrange and coordinate internal and external meetings, including managing calendars, conference call logistics, venue booking and wider meeting preparation tasks, preparing agendas, and minute-taking/dissemination of actions.

o Attendance at internal meetings across all work streams to increase information sharing and keep a sense of organisations objectives

o Coordinate the distribution of board and trustee and advisory group(s) meeting materials and invites.

o Support the Head of Operations to improve the ease of filing documents through our current system - SharePoint.

o Own the planning and organising of certain events, including launches, roundtables and conferences. This will include event management and travel booking, when required.

o Flexibility to take on additional administrative tasks as and when needed in support of the charity.

JOB PURPOSE

The post holder will work with colleagues to develop, facilitate and manage a range of approaches and infrastructure that ensures local communities are shaping, influencing, co-producing and delivering local services. This includes but is not limited to the Community Voice Forum which connects into the Association’s Housing and Flourishing Community programmes, projects and initiatives. This role will be instrumental in establishing local groups and facilitating local networks, partnerships and formal consortia that are sustainable and deliver community services.

With a focus on community priorities across the North Locality, the role will help to secure funding from a range of sources, to further develop and enhance community infrastructure. This will include supporting and leading the development of bids, tenders, and seeking sponsorship.

Some Key Tasks & Responsibilities:-

· Implement the Community Voice and other community engagement and representative fora across North Birmingham.

· Populate and develop a scheduled plan for engagement events, sessions, and workshops; both in person and online as part of the development of the Community Voice Forum, and related.

· Work with the Head of Business and Development Manager and senior colleagues to incorporate the North Birmingham Economic Recovery (NB:ER) plan which integrates citizen forum, small groups network, digital hubs, health inequalities, social enterprise network and enterprise hub consultation.

· Develop networks of social enterprises, small groups, and community representatives, arranging regular meetings, reviewing the effectiveness of the groups and recommending improvements.

· Support Communication and Marketing colleagues to effectively promote community engagement initiatives and activities.

· Keeping all stakeholders informed and engaged ensuring strong relationships are built and sustained.

· Organising and co-ordinating all online and in person events, sessions and workshops, including venue booking, setting up, notes and follow up.

· Support the development of project concepts by researching and developing relationships and collaborative opportunities with local groups, including those funded through the Neighbourhood Network Scheme and the Shared Prosperity Fund.
