About the role and the London Adult Service:

The London Adult Service is a transformational service which aims to provide end-to-end support and casework to victims and witnesses of crime in London. The service is funded by the Mayor's Office for Police and Crime (MOPAC) and is a key part of the London criminal justice landscape. This role will play a pivotal part in supporting our external interface with our stakeholders. The role will be home-based, but attendance at our London office may sometimes be required for meetings.

As a Digital Engagement and Partnerships Manager you'll:

• Promote the London adult digital services to encourage referrals into the service.
• Oversee the implementation of key digital initiatives, working with partners to ensure a joined up user journey.
• Work with key stakeholders to encourage feedback and continuous improvement of the service.
• Manage the digital elements of the service ensuring operational teams are provided with assistance, for example with developing webinars and online group activities.

This role takes a matrix approach, reporting to the Head of Digital within the Communications and Digital team and also to staff within the London Adult Service.

We're looking for someone who can:

• Work collaboratively with colleagues and other internal and external stakeholders.
• Has experience developing content for websites, social media and webinars.
• Has experience planning and implementing strategies for improving user experience for digital services.

• Ensure useful, accurate and clear record keeping on the fundraising CRM (Salesforce) to allow us to identify connections and build our networks.
• Use multiple web-based data platforms to identify prospects, opportunities and trends as well as accurate reporting and analysis.
• Contribute creative and innovative ideas for developing and improving our mid-value donor journeys.
• Assist the organisation and delivery of events for the wider Major Giving and Partnerships team as required.
• Promote Sponsor a School (SAS) as a key product for mid-value givers and ensure SAS supporters have an excellent donor experience with Mary’s Meals.
• Contribute to income and expenditure budgets and forecasts.
• Collaborate with other teams including Supporter Care, Marketing and the Grassroots team to ensure high-quality stewardship and acquisition of mid-value donors.

The Role

Working as part of the wider Technology department, the Salesforce Data Analyst Manager reports to the Head of Technology and will work closely with the Technical Solutions Specialist and the wider Salesforce project team.

This role is responsible for the quality of data imported and exported from Salesforce and our SQL databases.

The Data Analyst Manager will implement and oversee a data strategy to streamline ETL processes, ensure data quality and produce regular data quality reports. Additionally, they will be responsible for the administering and securing of our SQL server used for data-centric processes. You will be seen as a subject matter expert in their field, providing support across the organisation on a range of key projects.

About You

We’re looking for a hands-on manager, who can get stuck in on the daily tasks and lead a team of data analysts who are tasked with day-to-day operational duties.

You will have:

· Extensive experience of managing and developing a data analyst team

· Proven history of leadership and mentoring

· Proven experience in data management, analysis, reporting and visualisation

· Proven track record of identifying and remediating data inaccuracies to maintain high data quality

We are seeking to recruit an experienced mental health professional or therpaist to join our small team in Newcastle to support men in suicidal crisis. Our Newcastle centre opened in November and we need to recruit to expand our small of therpaists team to meet the growing needs of our service.

We will work with you and train you to develop your therapeutic skills to offer our semi-structured psychologically informed intervention. You will support the centre user and their supporter(s) to recover from the suicidal crisis and maintain their safety. 

The Charity

James’ Place exists to stop men dying by suicide. We opened our first centre in 2018 in Liverpool, the first of its kind in the UK, in 2022 we launched our second centre in London, and this year we opened our third centre in Newcastle. To date, we have supported over 2,300 men. James’ Place is a therapy centre for men who are experiencing a suicidal crisis, and it was set up to make the experience of finding help as easy as possible. It offers men a brief, intensive, therapeutic intervention in a safe environment. Men who walk through the door at James’ Place will be in a space where they feel valued and respected.   

Skills, Knowledge & Experience

Essential Qualifications

 A Profession such as Mental Health Nurse, Occupational Therapist or Social Worker registered with NMC, HPC, BASW. 

Or

Therapists registered with IAPT, BACP, UKCP, BABCP. 

Or

Psychology Graduate with experience of working as a Psychology Assistant or extensive experience of working within secondary mental health services. 

Essential Knowledge/Experience

Demonstrable experience working with adults experiencing acute psychological distress. 

Demonstrable knowledge of the impact of suicide on communities and individuals. 

Demonstrable knowledge of social and other factors which could lead to suicidal thinking and actions.

Summary of role

The Community Fundraising Lead will work as part of the Partnerships team. The role will collaborate on the development of the community fundraising strategy and will lead on its implementation. The role will include engaging our community with a range of fundraising opportunities and will play a vital role in generating the funding needed for Choose Love to continue to support displaced people around the World.

Core Responsibilities

• Drive revenue via community fundraising generated by individual fundraisers, employees of our corporate partner base and small businesses supporting Choose Love

• Build a creative, diverse community fundraising strategy using learnings from your previous experience

• Collaborate with partnerships comms and digital teams on the creation of community fundraiser journey, downloadable pack and assets for fundraisers and ensure these are kept up to date

• Act as the key point of contact for Choose love community fundraisers, helping keep them informed and supported and giving them the tools to maximise their donations 

• Work towards fundraising targets by building Choose Love's community fundraising activity

• Regularly identify and explore new opportunities for fundraising 

• Help to generate and realise new community fundraising ideas

• Work with communications team to ensure regular updates about community fundraising activities to drive donations and inspire and ask others to fundraise for Choose Love

Events Assistance

• Event support for both Choose Love events and external events organised by VIPs, community fundraisers and other stakeholders - this can be everything from tracking RSVPs to arranging printed materials, payment devices, merchandise and coordinating corporate volunteers at the event

• Assisting with elements of the Choose Love Shop, as required, including logistics, facilities, technology, being an onsite point of contact for talent, corporate volunteers and other stakeholders and occasional shop shifts to help out at busy times

• Running ad hoc pop up merch stalls with corporate partners

• Running festival stalls 

General Partnerships 

• Working collaboratively with the team and Choose Love Leadership to creatively and practically build the Partnerships team’s fundraising revenue 

• Being a first point of contact with supporters messaging on our social media channels and engaging with the Choose Love online community

About You:

You will need to be passionate about Choose Love’s vision and mission, building strong relationships with our local and community supporters.

About the role

As the Head of Philanthropy, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to meet targets, nurture relationships with donors, and engage new supporters. You will have the opportunity to cultivate, solicit, and steward your own prospect portfolio to secure funding for the charity's strategic priorities.

Key responsibilities include making recommendations to shape the strategic goals of the multi-year fundraising campaign, developing and implementing the major donor engagement strategy, and working with senior stakeholders to grow and manage your portfolio of major donor prospects. Additionally, you will be responsible for expanding the program of major donor events and engagement activities, ensuring due diligence on prospective major donors, and contributing to department-wide planning.

About you

To excel in this role, you should have a substantial track record of meeting income targets in fundraising or an equivalent results-oriented environment. You should also possess an entrepreneurial approach, exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, budget management, and events management.

Success in this role will be measured through the development and implementation of the major donor engagement strategy and your level of engagement with your prospect portfolio. You will also play a key role in strengthening major donor relationships through face-to-face meetings.

Role Description

The role of Senior Alumni Engagement Coordinator is to develop and maintain effective and long-lasting relationships with SEO alumni, through volunteering initiatives that encourage engagement including-  creating volunteering opportunities, communications, events and stewardship. Stakeholder management is key to this role, and as such they need to be adaptable and have proven experience in managing stakeholders and multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent communication skills and a track record in developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders is fundamental to this role.  

SEO London Alumni Relations Programme
SEO has a long history with our first alumni cohort graduating from the class of 2001. Our role is the nurture relationships with our vast pool of alumni, through an exciting engagement programme which includes industry networking events, social gatherings, newsletters and communications, volunteering opportunities and access to our talent pool. We create avenues for our alumni to stay connected to SEO as well as the broader network and open doors for them in industry. Creating advocates who would recommend our programmes and support the next generation of under represented students to gain access to sectors which may not be immediately available to them.

Accountabilities

VOLUNTEER MANAGEMENT

• Working with the Head of Alumni Relations create our volunteering programme, providing a tangible offer for Alumni to continue to give back as members of our community as well as develop personally.  
• Co- create and maintain a Volunteering database which will sit within the CRM and allow us to track, monitor and thank our volunteers accordingly. Helping to provide a better service to our alumni who have chosen to give their time. 
• Create innovative ways through robust communication channels to attract volunteers to our roles 
• Develop an engagement plan for our alumni, how do we steward our volunteers, do they receive a volunteering newsletter? How do we help them understand the impact they are having? 
• Maintain the CRM and update with all active roles and progress  
• Provide volunteering insights on a monthly basis to track and monitor the success of our recruitment offer

COMMUNICATIONS

• Alongside the Head of Alumni Relations you will be responsible for managing the creation and delivery of the Monthly newsletter, as an active participant in editorial meetings, you will be responsible for creating content and publishing the monthly newsletter 
• As Comms lead for Social media you will be responsible for posting frequently across Linked In and Instagram to build engagement with our audience on these platforms  
• You will provide monthly reporting on Newsletter open rates, the success of our comms in engaging our alumni as well as likes/ shares/ comments on social media EVENTS

EVENTS

• Supporting the Head of Alumni Relations in the delivery of monthly events, assisting with promotion as well as representing the team where possible at the events. 

DATA

• Ensuring the CRM is kept up to date with all alumni data, highlighting any issues or concerns and providing solutions where possible, adhering to GDPR at all times. 

CONNECT

• Our alumni engagement platform is specifically designed to engage our alumni and support them in connecting and expanding their personal network. Here they will find CPD opportunities, careers support and access to industry insights.  
• The successful candidate will support the Head of Alumni Relations with processing all new members onto the CRM  
• Lead on content for the platform to encourage engagement with our members

Required qualifications

• University degree (any discipline)  

• 2 - 5 years volunteer management/ Alumni Relations experience

Stewarding a growing portfolio of prospective donors introduced through our Founder and Trustees and network of UHNW supporters to support income growth.

Design and deliver tailored stewardship plans to inspire and engage current high net worth individuals to ensure long-term support.

Support existing and develop new high value partnships with Corpoates and Trusts.

The Candidate
Substantial experience as a successful major donor fundraiser in the charity sector, with a proven track record in high-net-worth relationship stewardship.

Comfortable managing key stakeholder relationships and have the ability to influence senior level individuals both internally and externally.

Be a strategic thinker with the ability to identify new opportunities for developing the fundraising opportunity with a network of supporters.
