To work alongside the Donor Development & Legacies Lead (DDLL) to help develop MSF’s donor development strategy to increase the lifetime value (LTV) of MSF UK supporters, by enhancing their knowledge and understanding of humanitarian action and their awareness of the importance of their own support to MSF. The DD&LL is accountable for the delivery of the full DD&L strategy and has personal responsibility for implementing the mid-value and legacies work programs.

The SDM is responsible for delivering MSF’s supporter development program, overseeing all communications to warm donors (under £10k), focusing on building relationships with individual supporters and developing other warm audiences to increase their financial contribution and loyalty.

Supervise and motivate the Stewardship Officer to implement and improve MSF’s stewardship program, increasing donor engagement and loyalty from those giving under £10k across multiple channels.

About the Role:

This new position will drive our income generation efforts through various channels and initiatives. You will develop and implement business development strategies to attract financial support from individuals, corporations, foundations, and potential donors. The role will proactively engage with donors, build relationships, and cultivate partnerships to create and maximise income generation to support our mission and programmes.

What You'll Do:

Drive development of Urban Synergy’s presence in business FTSE 250 and others, through successful inbound and outbound prospect and client engagement.

Research and identify potential funding sources, including individuals, corporations, foundations, and grant opportunities to build a meaningful opportunity pipeline.

Attend networking events, conferences, and community gatherings to expand the organisation's network and establish strategic partnerships.

Track and analyse income generation activities, prepare regular reports and revenue forecasts on fundraising progress, outcomes, and ROI.

Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards in fundraising activities.

Who we are looking for:

Someone with substantial and demonstrable experience of working with corporates within FTSE 250 and the commercial sector. This includes proactively acquiring new partnerships and maximising existing relationships, including how to access the decision makers.

Have excellent presentation and negotiating skills, representing the charity in a range of settings and to a range of audiences.

Be a self-starter with strong sales and influencing skills, Able to work independently in particular in developing corporate fundraising products and tools.

Degree in Business, nonprofit management, marketing, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

Proven experience in income/revenue generation, fundraising, or new business sales, preferably within the nonprofit sector.

Strong knowledge of fundraising principles, techniques, and best practices.

Excellent communication, writing and interpersonal skills, displaying a commitment to excellence and careful attention to detail.

Target driven with an ability to think strategically and develop and implement compelling fundraising strategies.

Strong organisational and project management skills.

Proficiency in fundraising software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Our audiences include health and social care professionals, members of the public, charities, professional bodies and associations, UK policymakers and campaigning groups.

Website, SEO & PPC

• Write/produce, build and publish content for the RCUK website, including articles, features, statements and updates, ensuring diversity and inclusion is considered in everything we do.
• Ensure all content, imagery or files uploaded to the website are of an optimal file size and comply with accessibility guidance e.g., alt text, descriptive links.
• Support the Digital Media and Marketing Manager to deliver the SEO priorities for the organisation and increase RCUK’s reach. 
• Use insight (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Crazy Egg, surveys etc) to identify content gaps and opportunities for website improvements in line with user requirements.

Campaigns

• Support the communications and engagement team to deliver on key integrated campaigns across the year. 
• Support on the delivery of marketing and communications strategies for core RCUK products: including generating sales for commercial products such as e-Lifesaver and paid events such as conferences through digital marketing and direct communications.
• Support the Media and Campaigns team with asset creation and amplify media opportunities via our digital channels

Email Marketing

Social media

• Create, curate and share high quality social media content using a range of different and innovative formats. 
• Monitor RCUK’s social media portfolio and identify opportunities for RCUK expansion onto other social media platforms in line with organisational objectives and where the audiences we are trying to reach are. 
• Respond to comments across our social media channels and build support within our online community through engaging in conversations. Answer queries (liaising with other teams as required) and escalate any reputational issues to the Digital Media and Marketing Manager. 
• Identify opportunities and content for paid campaigns.

Marketing Officer
c. £30,000 – 35,000 per annum + yearly bonus
Full Time, London based 3 days per week in office

The Marketing Officer will be a vital member of the Marketing Team. This role involves managing campaigns, communications, and the platforms used to deliver them, with a focus on promoting professional development products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, develop, and deliver multi-channel marketing campaigns to promote professional development products and services, including training courses, events, qualifications, apprenticeships, and webinars, to both members and non-members.
• Create and disseminate engaging marketing content across various platforms, ensuring alignment with campaign goals and organisational objectives.
• Manage and optimise promotional channels such as the website (SEO and user journey), email marketing, organic and paid social media (LinkedIn, Facebook), paid search (Google Ads), partnerships, and print/online advertising.
• Collaborate closely with operational teams to ensure marketing efforts are integrated with their goals, driving awareness and participation in the offerings.
• Track and report on performance KPIs, providing insights and identifying opportunities to improve campaign effectiveness and overall marketing performance.
• Provide ad hoc support to the Engagement department, assist with the organisation and promotion of their events, and offer administrative assistance as required.

Person Specification:

• Passionate and eager to expand marketing expertise, with a proactive approach to learning and developing a diverse set of marketing skills, including digital and traditional methods.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, with a strong grasp of tailoring messaging to different audiences and utilising design and imagery effectively to enhance marketing content.
• Detail-oriented and consistent, ensuring all marketing materials and communications are of high quality, accurately presented, and aligned with brand standards.
• Proficient in digital tools and platforms, including email marketing systems, website content management systems (CMS), customer relationship management (CRM) databases, and experience with Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro, or similar.
• Confident in face-to-face interactions with stakeholders, demonstrating professionalism and composure at conferences, exhibitions, and other events while representing the organisation effectively.

FarmAbility is a local independent charity that is committed to improving the quality of lives through access to meaningful activities for adults who have a learning disability.  We deliver farming and horticultural-based programmes in partnership with community-based and local farms and gardens. We are recruiting to a new, national lottery funded role of Communications and Events Officer.  This role will be central to our publicity and social media strategy going forward.  The postholder will support us to develop a coherent, data compliant approach to sharing our news, updating our platforms (website, social media) and developing hard copy materials such as leaflets and easy read information to share with our growing community.  They will also take on the planning, preparation and delivery of our community facing events, working collaboratively with the rest of the team to ensure we are able to deliver at least 2 seasonal family friendly activities each year and at least 2 community fundraising activities.  They will collaborate closely with the Fundraising Officer to ensure that we also produce materials to enable people to fundraise and awareness raise for us in their own communities.  They will be outward looking, helping us to connect with colleagues from other organisations and collaborate on issues of joint concern and enable us to take part in national focus days around social farming, nature restoration and learning disability support.

WECare is seeking a Marketing Manager to lead the strategic direction of our digital marketing efforts. In this role, you will drive engagement, increase visibility, and support our mission by analyzing trends and crafting campaigns that align with our goals. Key responsibilities:

1. Strategic Planning & Development

• Lead the overall strategic direction for WECare’s digital marketing, focusing on long-term growth and engagement.
• Develop and oversee comprehensive marketing strategies and communication plans to increase awareness and supporter engagement.
• Conduct audience and market research to shape targeted campaigns and forecast future marketing opportunities.
• Collaborate with teams across fundraising, social media, and external partners to ensure cohesive execution of digital strategies.

2. Digital Marketing & Analysis

• Drive WECare’s digital growth by leading SEO, social media, email marketing, and online advertising initiatives.

3. Content Oversight & Campaign Management

• Oversee the creation of content (written, visual, multimedia) by internal teams and external partners, ensuring it aligns with WECare’s messaging and goals.
• Act as a strategic guide for content creation, focusing on maintaining consistency and supporting overall digital strategies.
• Ensure content supports broader marketing and fundraising goals while delegating day-to-day content creation to team members and creative professionals.
• Lead the planning and management of major digital marketing campaigns, working closely with relevant teams to ensure success.

4. Partnership & Community Engagement

• Identify and cultivate relationships with sponsors, partners, and local communities to strengthen WECare's support network.
• Support the organisation and promotion of key events, securing sponsorships and partnerships to enhance visibility.
• Lead outreach to the local and international community, promoting responsible animal care and building support for WECare’s mission.

5. Performance & Reporting

• Track and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing efforts, providing insights into performance and areas for improvement.

The Organisation

The Royal Parks (TRP) is a charity created in March 2017. We manage over 5,000 acres of diverse parkland, rare habitats and historic buildings and monuments in eight Royal Parks across London. The Role

As one of our Event Development Project Managers in the team, you will play a vital role in project visioning, developing and tendering for a wide range of annual contracted events throughout The Royal Parks.

Specifically, you will help support and deliver the commercial and strategic vision for our most significant major events and lead on the development of new event tender projects.

You’ll ensure that our commercial activities are sustainable and profitable whilst remaining consistent with our values and sympathetic to parkland activities. With this in mind, you will project lead on market research, commercial modelling, strategic and creative visioning, tender planning and contract development work.

The role will involve:

• Creating and drafting strategies for future tenders for major public events
• Preparing and maintaining detailed project plans and tender documentation
• Gathering event feasibility, market research data and information for event tenders
• Supporting the Event Development team project activities for event tenders
• Managing the day-to-day admin for event tender projects

Additionally, the role does not involve:

• Working on or managing events, as the hosting venue we do not organise events ourselves
• Booking events suppliers or entertainment

About You

To be considered as one of our Event Development Project Managers, you will need:

• Excellent experience working as a project manager within outdoor events or public parks
• Good knowledge and experience in tendering for event providers and contract administration within the events industry
• Excellent communication, presentation, proofreading and report-writing skills
• Good organisation skills
• The ability to work collaboratively and build effective relationships
• The ability to analyse information, make informed judgements, appraise performance, and manage risks

A PRINCE2 Foundation or equivalent Microsoft Project and/or Project Management experience would be beneficial to your application. A degree level education in event management or equivalent experience would be desirable.

An understanding of the public procurement exercises (CCR2016 or PCR2015) would be desirable.

IT literacy, including Microsoft Office products; Teams, OneDrive, Project, Planner, To-do, SharePoint, PowerPoint & Sway, Lists and Viva, would also be advantageous.
