About the Role
Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP) works for the health and dignity of Palestinians living under occupation and as refugees. MAP is the leading UK charity delivering health and medical care to those worst affected by conflict, occupation and displacement, in the occupied Palestinian territory (oPt) and Lebanon.
The Deputy Director of Philanthropy will play a pivotal role in advancing MAP's mission by leading and expanding our fundraising efforts across trusts and foundations, major donors and corporate partnerships in the UK and internationally. This senior leadership position requires a dynamic, strategic, and highly motivated individual with a proven track record in high-value fundraising and relationship management.
About You
You will have an understanding of the history and particular circumstances which face Palestinians, as well as a passion for the cause. You’ll have demonstrable experience of developing and implementing fundraising strategies, and with a strong track record of securing major gifts, grants and corporate partnerships, you’ll take our partnership offering to a new level aiming for multi-year partnerships. You will use your excellent interpersonal and motivational leadership skills to develop and support team members to deliver their best work. Your exceptional communication skills and the capability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines will be valuable.

Duties and key responsibilities
Leadership, Strategy and Planning
•Build and inspire a high-performing, results-oriented team focused on delivering fundraising targets through tailored partnership plans
•Lead the development of the Philanthropy and Partnerships strategy, setting ambitious targets in line with the fundraising strategy and goals in the UK and globally.

Relationship Development and Management

•Develop and manage the portfolio of major donor prospects, creating tailored engagement plans to maximize their philanthropic potential.
•Lead stewardships events to bring the work to life and to connect supporters with MAP programme colleagues and medical volunteers.
•Collaborate with programmes and communications teams to ensure the team creates persuasive proposals, impactful reports, and engaging donor communications.
•Lead and be responsible for the due diligence procedure for new partners, as well as periodically ensuring that current partners still meet MAP’s guidelines.
Budgets, reporting and compliance
•Lead, create and manage annual and three-year rolling budgets working with programmes, communications and finance.
•Working with the Head of Fundraising Operations, provide reporting for the SMT and Board on a quarterly basis, and at a team level on a monthly basis, highlighting risks and opportunities and making necessary adjustments to ensure continued success.
•Ensure all grant applications and reports are submitted punctually and meet funders' requirements.

The TSA is seeking a highly experienced, confident and capable Head of Fundraising to provide leadership and direction on all aspects of income generation. Summary
This is an exciting opportunity to join our Pioneering Project, as we develop pathways to faith on the Roundshaw Estate.
With significant grant investment from the Church of England, we are now setting up a Pioneering Project to develop these pathways, with new innovative spaces being added along the way. We will then train and support other Estate partner churches across the Southwark Diocese to try out our approach, contextualising our models of mission to their communities if appropriate. This is a really exciting project that will make a huge positive difference to individuals and communities. As such, we are looking for an experienced Operations Director to manage this project and oversee the team that will be recruited.
This role is vital to ensure we deliver on the agreed outcomes of the project over 5 years, which will involve:

Key responsibilities and duties
This is an exciting and vital role to shape and deliver a multi-channel communications strategy for a leading mental health charity, focused on supporting the systems around children and young people including parents/carers, schools, colleges and universities. The main responsibilities will include creating and overseeing the activation of the marketing strategy and using data insights and analytics to grow and develop the Trust’s reach and support. The role will also act as the guardian to the organisation’s website as the main resource and marketing hub.

The role
You’ll be key to delivering our corporate partnerships income strategy, identifying and driving vital new business as well retaining longer term support from priority sectors. About the Investment Team
The Investment Team is responsible for selecting charity partners, managing our charity investments and supporting our charity partners to improve and scale their impact.
The Investment Team also leads the Impetus Leadership Academy, a leadership development programme to support talent from ethnic minority backgrounds in the UK youth sector to progress into senior leadership roles.
The team is made up of 18 people, including former teachers, charity chief executives, charity impact leads, management consultants, social investment portfolio managers and impact consultants.
The team is led by a Portfolio Director who sits on the Senior Management Team. The Portfolio Director has 5 direct reports: a Deputy Portfolio Director, three Sector Leads (who lead our work in School engagement, School attainment and Employment Sectors) and an Impact Lead. Job description – Investment Director
The Investment Director (ID) is a key member of the Investment Team, playing a leading role in identifying, assessing, and supporting portfolio partner charities and other non-profit organisations to deepen their impact and scale their outcomes. This role works closely with other Investment Directors and Investment Managers to deliver external facing support to portfolio partners as well as internal projects to support the development of the investment model and portfolio strategy.
Investment Directors use strategic thinking, analytical rigour, and senior relationship skills to support a portfolio of amazing organisations that, together, will help shift the life chances and outcomes of young people from disadvantaged backgrounds in the UK.
Key responsibilities
Finding high potential charities and non-profit partners for our portfolio
- Identifying potential charitable organisations for investment.
- Leading in-depth due diligence process to assess and build partnership foundations with potential partners – covering leadership and governance, and their impact, scale, and partnership potential.
- Modelling from first contact of origination, our approach to engaged and trust-based investment management support.
- Developing and championing high quality investment propositions to our Investment Committee.
Managing partnerships with portfolio partners
- Managing relationships with partner Chairs and CEOs
- Agreeing Service Funding Agreements, including appropriate annual investment milestones to allow for a clear assessment of re-investment potential at end of phase
- Regularly monitoring and assessing partner progress / risks against milestones and making recommendations for progression or exit

Job Summary:
As the Director of Income Generation and Marketing, you will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing innovative strategies to support The Kirkwood's charitable activities. Your leadership will inspire our community, increase awareness, and enhance financial and voluntary support.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Strategic:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive income generation strategy aligned with The Kirkwood's goals.
- Foster a culture of creativity to explore and implement unconventional income generation methods.
- Lead the strategy to build The Kirkwood Movement, enhancing awareness, care outreach, and inspiring support.
- Create and nurture connections within The Kirkwood Movement to deepen engagement.
- Collaborate across The Kirkwood Movement to integrate income generation opportunities into daily operations.
Executive:
- Partner with the Executive Team to devise and deliver strategies that ensure sustainable growth in care provision.
- Establish policy frameworks and operational methods that support strategic objectives.
- Uphold and promote The Kirkwood Culture and Values.
- Serve as the key advocate for donors, ensuring their interests are prioritised in all activities.
- Oversee internal and external communication strategies and represent The Kirkwood in media and public events.
- Maintain strong relationships with the Board of Trustees and lead interactions with the Income Generation & Marketing Committee.
- Support Executive Management Team members and contribute to committee activities as needed.
- Contribute to the development of the 5-year strategic plan and long-range financial forecast.
- Stay informed of best practices in the sector and integrate them into The Kirkwood.
- Manage relationships with statutory regulators to ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
Departmental:
- Support departmental leads in crafting and implementing strategies for Fundraising, Retail & Trading, Media & Marketing, Business Development, and Programme Development.
- Propose, monitor, and achieve ambitious annual budgets for income generation.
- Deliver an exceptional supporter experience that drives acquisition, retention, and maximises supporter lifetime value through stellar stewardship.
- Inspire and lead a motivated team, fostering a culture of ownership and accountability for income generation goals.
- Develop and deliver ambitious plans across the core spectrum of Income Generation activity that includes (but not limited to) legacy fundraising, individual giving, major donors and patronage, digital fundraising, retail footprint, corporate partnership development and community fundraising.
- Attract, recruit, and retain top talent within the income generation and marketing team, ensuring a diverse and skilled workforce.

Worldwide Veterinary Service is searching for a dedicated and enthusiastic person to lead on spearheading the Young Vets Club membership programme, an animal welfare club aimed at children aged 6 -12.
This exciting role will involve leading on the promotion and expansion of the programme, including developing longer-term strategies to grow the membership and working with others within the team to create content for the next generation of animal lovers and veterinarians.
This role offers a great opportunity for the right candidate and will include an interesting and diverse workload. There is some flexibility for working at home, but the role will require a minimum of 2 days a week at one of the WVS offices, either near Tregony, Cornwall or Cranborne, Dorset.
Other organisations may call this role Membership Manager or Engagement Manager.

Young Vets Club is an important part of the future plans of WVS and is designed to inspire future generations of animal lovers and veterinarians, through engaging educational content.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Grow the Young Vets Club membership programme in line with ambitious income targets.
- Create engaging and informative content for the target audience.
- Manage the Young Vets Club Officer, and work with internal and external partners to grow the programme.
- Collaborate with the wider team to develop a plan to promote the programme and recruit new members – engaging schools, libraries, youth groups and community events.
- Work with the Tech and Education Team to develop an online version of membership.
- Explore relationships to develop rewarding and engaging experiences for our members in real life with other youth networks, providers of summer camps and out of school activity clubs.
- Track project metrics and provide regular updates.
- Assist the wider team with other tasks as needed.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Background in marketing, membership programmes, project management, or a related field.
- Experience in programmes for young people and children.
- Excellent copy writing and communication skills.
- A passion for animal welfare.
- A strong team player.
- A full UK drivers’ licence and own vehicle.
