About the Role
Reporting to our Marketing Manager this role plays an important part in supporting SIB’s strategy and focus.
We are looking for someone who:
• Can create compelling communications showcasing our programmes and funds
• Can provide expertise and oversight in the shaping and embedding of SIB’s external messaging
• Can produce accessible and well-written marketing materials for our programmes and funds
• Can update website communications and manage newsletters

Key responsibilities
Marketing
1 Working with Marketing Manager to implement the Marketing Strategy, including contributing to campaigns, messages and stakeholder relations.
2. Supporting the implementation of marketing plans for specific funds, working with our delivery partners and sub-contractors, as appropriate, and helping with programme and fund roundtables and events.
3. Supporting the Director of Investments and the Marketing Manager in delivering new business strategies by providing market analysis and data, publicity plans, key messages, event planning, set up and coordination as necessary.
4. Supporting the Marketing Manager with marketing contacts in partner, investee and other stakeholder organisations, maintaining contacts and ensuring that SIB funds and programmes are represented across sector events and in peer publications.
5. Liaise with the Business Development Manager to contribute effectively to new tenders, including supplying accurate marketing and communications data and deliverable activities.
Communications
6. Working with the CEO, Deputy CEO and Marketing Manager to implement the Marketing Strategy, including developing and managing campaigns, messages and stakeholder relations.
7. Supporting the development of content and publications as required including newsletters, brochures and reports, case studies, blogs, articles, website content, e-newsletter content.
8. Working with the Marketing Manager and Policy and Communications Manager to liaise with external networks – national, third sector and key regional press contacts, other communications managers – to increase the reach of SIB’s work and to disseminate it widely.
9. To adopt our continuous improvement and learning ethos.
10. To support and embed equality, diversity and inclusion into day-to-day behaviours and activities within your role as well as contributing more widely across SIB’s commitment to E, D & I.

Core competencies
- Experience of creating impactful marketing materials and campaigns utilising multiple channels and platforms.

The ideal candidate for the Chief Officer position will have a passion for creativity and community engagement, along with strong leadership, bid writing and strategic planning skills. This role involves overseeing all aspects of the Centre’s operations, including program development, fundraising, and community outreach.
This role can influence the delivery of the mental health agenda across Greater Manchester and requires the jobholder to be a positive leader and role model for the CLC’s members, employees, and volunteers.

Key Responsibilities:

What you can expect in return
The role is part-time, 26.5 hours per week. The successful candidate can work the hours in a variable pattern which can suit both parties, subject to agreement with the CLC’s board of trustees. The successful candidate will be required to spend time at the CLC each week.

This role sits within the Community Education and Training team, working to support our learners to access, complete and progress through our wide range of adult learning provision. The main focus will be on providing additional support for learners who need wrap-around support relating to a range of additional personal and educational needs. This could include welfare, personal and family support and wider mental health and wellbeing support or additional learning needs such as dyslexia, ADHD, literacy support and other needs.

To coordinate and grow York Mind’s community and events fundraising income through effective networking, event, and volunteer coordination.
This role sits within our Corporate Wellbeing Service team, where you will mainly work alongside our Head of Corporate Wellbeing Services and Corporate Fundraiser, to generate income for the charity through community engagement and events. You will be responsible for meeting the annual community and events income target. The role will require someone with strong organisational skills, and prior experience as a Fundraiser in another organisation. You will divide your time between developing, planning, and running events, supporting people to raise money on behalf of York Mind, and creating new relationships in the community, such as with schools and sports clubs. We have an annual calendar of both internal and external events, including our annual Mental Elf run, as well as challenges such as the York 10k and Yorkshire Marathon. Your role will be to fill events, and effectively steward and support people to raise as much money as possible through their participation. As part of your role in event coordination, you will be responsible for our fundraising volunteer base, including recruitment and effective utilisation of volunteers at our various events. Flexibility will be key, as some events happen on evenings and weekends. Another important part of this role will be engaging and developing relationships with community supporters. You should have strong interpersonal skills and enjoy getting out and about in the community (eg. sports clubs/community organisations) to grow our supporter base and look after those who we currently work with. Finally, the Corporate Wellbeing Services Team work collaboratively and therefore you should be able to work effectively as part of a team and be willing to support others in their roles to ensure the effective running of the whole department. Role Overview
As a member of the Supporter Engagement Team no two days will be the same. You will be essential in helping us improve the lives of those living with Crohn's and Colitis by offering fantastic supporter service and ensuring our members and fundraisers feel valued and keen to continue to support!
The Supporter Engagement Officer plays a pivotal role in achieving this. By taking a lead in the day to day management of the income processing and membership arm of the team ensuring all income is processed quickly and accurately and supporters are thanked efficiently.
About You
You will have experience of working in a similar role, providing a high standard of customer care in a fast-paced environment, handling supporter queries and providing information in a concise and comprehensive manner.
You will be experienced in supervising staff or volunteers and be an effective and approachable networker with a proved track record of building excellent relations with all stakeholders, using high levels of tact and sensitivity when needed.
You'll need strong written and verbal skills and the ability to adapt your style depending on the audience. You'll also be effective at managing challenging situations and competing priorities.
You will have the ability to manage a busy workload and deadlines whilst taking ownership of problems to find a solution where possible, escalating to a manager where required.
You will also have experience of working with databases to produce reports and insights, as well as the managing the handling of cash and finance processes.
Experience of Microsoft office is essential, as well as high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.

We’re looking for a community rail support officer to support our network of community rail partnerships (CRPs) and station adoption groups in the Midlands and East of England.
About us
Community Rail Network is a not-for-profit organisation, working across Britain, supporting a growing ‘community rail’ movement, which helps communities get the most from their railways, promotes sustainable and inclusive travel, coordinates volunteering and place-making, and brings people together.
Community rail is made up of 75 community-based partnership organisations, and around 1,200 station friends volunteer groups and other community-led initiatives around Britain. Their activities range from creative projects for young people, to advising train operators on service improvements, to building travel confidence with families and disabled people, to biodiversity projects at stations, to promoting greener travel and tourism by rail.
Our enthusiastic staff team of 22 people works mainly from home in different locations, but we come together regularly in person and online. We work collaboratively to advise our members, provide training, events and resources, run campaigns, and champion community rail and its insights via decision-makers and the media. We believe in developing our team and supporting everyone to reach their potential while having a good work-life balance.
About this role
The purpose of this role is to provide support and advice to community rail partnerships and groups on delivering maximum benefit within and with their communities, working collaboratively with the railways and wider partners. The role will support our members across an area covering the West Midlands, Central England and East Anglia, so it is desirable for you to be based in this area.
You’ll be comfortable engaging and advising local groups and communities to extend existing and set up new initiatives, and to reach wider audiences with an evidence-led, place-based approach. As well as supporting local groups, you’ll work closely with the rail industry, and wider third and public sector partners to ensure collaboration and shared success.
Main responsibilities
1. Provide direct support and advice to CRPs and their officers, and other community rail groups in the region. This includes responding to queries and requests, passing on specialist queries to other members of the team, and providing proactive support through an annual planning and accreditation process and as set out in our plans.
2. Support the development of skills, confidence and effectiveness across the network of CRPs and station groups, helping them to increase their positive social, environmental and economic impact, including through referral to our training, events and resources.
3. Support the development of emerging community rail partnerships, station friend groups and community-led stations and railway-related projects in the region.
4. Helping our members to work effectively with rail, transport, local government and community partners, supporting effective relationship building and showing positive leadership and insights on community rail within the region.
5. Work with our regions support manager on delivery and monitoring of our grant schemes, and support CRPs and groups in the region to apply, deliver successfully and report back on funded work.
6. Gather and share examples, feedback and insights from our members across the region, to facilitate best practice sharing and confidence across community rail and to feed into our communications, resources, events and public affairs work.
7. As a member of the Community Rail Network team, participate and contribute to our wider work as relevant, such as Community Rail Week, our annual conference and Awards.

The community rail support officer reports to our regions support manager within the Support and Development team. This is a new position, expanding our small team.
The role is 3.5-4 days per week (25.9 to 29.6 hours) with a degree of flexibility and out-of-hours working (evenings and weekends). It is home-based, but with regular travel (including occasional overnight stays) across your region and occasionally beyond for member meetings and events and to take part in our wider national activity. You will liaise with external commissioners and stakeholders to book in delivery dates – this will include coordinating diaries, commissioning Associates, and confirming delivery details for external commissioners and internal staff. You will work with the team on the pro-active set-up and coordination of both small, one-off deliveries as well as larger scale programmes and projects.
Our ideal candidate would have experience working in a busy learning events or administration environment. You will be capable of managing multiple requests at the same time, and confident liaising with both external stakeholders and internal staff. Excellent attention to detail and reporting skills are crucial to the success of this role. You will need to be enthusiastic, self-motivated and used to collaborative working, with excellent communication skills.

Summary of the role:
The UK Programmes Officer will provide a mixture of administration and project support to the UK Programmes Manager. - Collaborate with the UK Programmes Manager to develop ideas into executable projects in line with the workplan.
- Identify UK funding opportunities and their viability for grant distribution that align with MA’s thematic areas and governance requirements.
- Oversee the coordination of project implementation plans and monitor deliverables, following up with stakeholders to ensure they remain on time.
- Track project expenditures highlighting possibilities of over/underspend to budget holder.
- Ensure all policies, practices and procedures are followed in implementation of all projects.
