Main purpose and scope of the role:
Parentkind is a national charity working with more than 23,500 Parent Teacher Associations (PTAs), Parent Councils and Schools. We are the voice of parents in policy making.
We are an ambitious organisation and we are looking for an ambitious and highly motivated individual to support our work in Westminster and Whitehall. The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience of public affairs, advocacy and/or working in a policy environment.
We are looking for an ambitious and motivated individual able to take on responsibility and lead.
The role will involve:
- Managing the work of the All Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) for Parents to make this one of the most high profile APPGs in Parliament.
- Organising events to communicate our research, including roundtables, lunches/dinners and launch events in Westminster.
- Leading our political and policy stakeholder engagement activity to ensure we have strong relationships where they matter.
- Dissemination of our research to political and policy audiences to ensure our research is seen by the right people.
- Support our parent research, including polling of parents and making policy recommendations based on this research.
As a UK wide charity, you will be expected to support our work in other parts of the UK and the devolved administrations.
We would particularly welcome candidates with media experience, including writing press releases and placing stories with national media outlets.
Duties and key responsibilities
Managing the work of the All Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) for Parents.
- Developing a plan for the APPG to achieve our ambition of making this one of the most high profile APPGs in Parliament.
- Raising the profile of the APPG for Parents and increasing the number of MPs and peers engaged with its work.
- Organising well attended APPG meetings and events.
- Providing the secretariat to the APPG and working with the Officers to deliver the work of the Group.
Organising events to communicate our research, including roundtables, lunches/dinners and launch events in Westminster.
- Manage and organise research/policy led events with political/policy audiences, including roundtables, lunches/dinners and launch events.
- Increase attendance at these events to make sure we are successfully engaging with political/policy audiences.
Leading our political and policy stakeholder engagement activity to ensure we have strong relationships where they matter.
- Developing our stakeholder database of priority contacts.
- Actively arranging high value meetings to promote Parentkind.
- Maintaining a consistent level of communication with political/policy audiences on behalf of Parentkind.
Dissemination of our research to political and policy audiences to ensure our research is seen by the right people.
- Taking responsibility for high quality dissemination of our research and evidence to political/policy audiences.
Support our parent research, including polling of parents and making policy recommendations based on this research.
- Working across the organisation to support our parent polling activity with engaging and topical questions.
- Support the development of policy recommendations based on our research.
- Writing concise and compelling briefing documents.
Residents must be currently based in or within reasonable commutable distance of London.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Recruit and induct new volunteers to support our services, working with the Services Director and the Training & Outreach Lead. Work with the service managers to review training and update training modules.
-Ensure there is appropriate training, support, supervision and acknowledgement for all volunteers and ensure recruitment and processes comply with the charity’s values & EDI requirements
-Research and write volunteer policies and procedures, including risk assessments.
-Support and recruit volunteer community leaders; work with them to aim for consistent quality across the groups experience and develop an online training programme for leaders, and longer term, put a funding case together to support a training weekend for community leaders.
-Keep records on which community groups are active and identify areas of need and feedback mechanisms.
-Work with Content & Communications Lead to produce regular mailings for volunteers and recruitment drives and promote volunteering through recruitment and publicity strategies and campaigns.
-Keep up to date with legislation and policy related to volunteering and make any necessary modifications to accommodate changes.
-Maintain the database of volunteers + ensure all volunteers are registered members.
-Manage budgets and resources, including the reimbursement of volunteer expenses.

The role is multi-faceted and fast paced and we’re looking for someone with extensive project manager experience, an interest in and knowledge of social care policy and advocacy, and the ability to juggle priorities. The role is home based and the job holder is required to represent the Charity at external meetings as required. We are looking for an experienced Programme Manager with sector specific expertise to manage our Fast Forward collaborative programme in the UK apparel and general merchandise sectors at a key moment of change and development.
In this varied role you will be responsible for the day to day running of the programme, provide developmental strategic input and support the programme’s evolution, as well as ensuring the programme maintains its integrity.
You will manage relationships with all key stakeholders in the programme including brands, suppliers, audit bodies and external stakeholders. You’ll work on the development of the programme responding to emerging risks of exploitation, industry changes and demand. You’ll also lead the integrity and quality assurance of the programme.
You’ll deliver, enhance and promote brand and supplier engagement including training workshops, webinars and forums. You’ll work with the Co-CEOs to ensure the programme delivers on target, on-time, on-budget, in line with the agreements and organisational objectives and guidelines.
You will work from home and will join a friendly, supportive, and committed global team, and contribute towards creating systemic change.
Who you are:
- An experienced project manager with an in-depth understanding of the UK apparel and general merchandise sectors and experience managing relations with a variety of stakeholders
- A professional who has worked with or within the UK apparel/general merchandise sector on responsible business behaviour and with a good knowledge/understanding of ethical labour practices
- A great organiser, with the ability to set and meet demanding targets and deadlines, and to hold others accountable to those
- An excellent trainer, with experience of preparing and delivering training to businesses
- Someone with an interest in being involved in operations as well as strategic thinking
- An excellent communicator, with experience of developing and building new successful working relationships with a range of stakeholders, as well as confidence in representing the programme professionally at a variety of events
- Someone with experience of measuring and demonstrating impact
- A motivated and enthusiastic worker, able to work independently and with remote colleagues/stakeholders, delivering day-to-day workload with minimal supervision

The Philanthropy Manager will be our first hire in our fundraising team and so is an exciting opportunity to work closely with Opportunity Green’s CEO as the organisation grows. We are now looking for a Philanthropy Manager to maximise Opportunity Green’s ability to grow. You will work closely with OG colleagues across the organisation to understand their work and help us to find new donors, whilst also assisting the CEO in managing our current donors. This role is essential in Opportunity Green’s expanding team and organisation. You will develop ambitious, strategic and innovative funding partnerships with trusts and foundations and HNWIs, focussing on grants at the £500,000+ unrestricted level and increasing the number of unrestricted grants. You will also consider and advise us on how to build OG’s strategy on digital fundraising and the potential for legacy grants. You’ll be the kind of person who searches for connections, chases opportunities, gets out from behind your desk to meet people, and influences internally and externally to achieve results. As you will be the first full time fundraising hire in Opportunity Green, we are looking for someone who is willing to throw themselves in to all things fundraising. The role
We are excited to be recruiting a Training and Quality manager, and we are seeking to appoint an experienced individual who can assist in the training of staff and quality processes, across a team embedded in the 14 different GenesisCare cancer treatment centres.
The individual we are looking for will:
- Assist with the recruitment, induction, and management of new Wellbeing Consultants and therapists
- Manage, support and lead five established Wellbeing Consultants
- Lead Quality for the partnership between GenesisCare and Penny Brohn UK
- Deputise for Head of Services when necessary

Pratham is one of the largest and most respected education charities in India. We developed a model that can teach a child to read and do basic maths in as little as 30 days for £14. We also have preschool, vocational and women's education programmes. About the role
We’re looking for a Fundraising Engagement Manager with great personality and team ethic to join our Regional Fundraising team.
This is a role of variety, opportunity and innovation, and we are looking for someone who embraces change and constantly strives to achieve more.
You will maximise income for Young Live vs Cancer by coaching our supporters to reach their goals, whilst seeking out new fundraising opportunities for your geographical area. This role sits within the ‘Regional Engagement’ team and we need someone with natural customer service skills who wants to deliver a legendary experience to all of their supporters. Your team of supporters will range from volunteers and individuals, to groups and local corporates.
The East Anglia and Bedfordshire regions are areas filled with some of our most committed supporters, but there is still so much opportunity to grow corporate support across the counties. Our Social Workers support families from Cambridge hospitals, so building relationships with these teams are a must.

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Senior Corporate Partnerships Manager will manage major partner accounts, focusing on raising $1.5M+ through fundraising activation, grant proposals and managing established long term relationships with global stakeholders. They will be responsible for the overall account management, financial targets, as well as designing and delivering targeted fundraising campaigns in multiple regions. The role includes negotiating contract renewals, putting together funding proposals, preparing detailed reports, and managing the operational delivery. They will represent Make-A-Wish at key stakeholder meetings and events, establishing strong relationships with a vast network of stakeholders to ensure successful partnership activities. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing high-value partnerships, strong relationship-building skills, and a results-driven mindset, as well as experience managing multi-layered and complex projects involving a large array of stakeholders.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Strategically manage existing strategic partners and their growth through opportunities that can include cause related marketing, sponsorship, employee fundraising, in-kind donations, and corporate philanthropy.
• Design, develop, and deliver campaigns and activations to drive fundraising.
• Support all key partnership objectives, including delivering financial targets, budget management, communications planning, and renewal plans to drive partnership retention.
• Develop toolkits to manage partners more effectively and prepare materials, reports, and stewardship support for corporate partnerships, engaging stakeholders at every level.
• Negotiate renewal of partner contracts.
• Represent Make-A-Wish at internal and external partner meetings and events. Feed into the design and execution of a strategy to grow partnership opportunities.
• Establish strong relationships and ways of working with Make-A-Wish affiliates and network to deliver partnership activity and understand funding opportunities for corporate targets.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
• Educated to degree level or equivalent work experience.
• At least five years of progressive experience in fundraising, partnership development, project management, and/or marketing and communications.
• Proven track record of managing, delivering, renewing complex partnerships and securing growth ($500,000-$1,000,000+).
• Demonstrated experience in managing a prospect pipeline and implementing strategies to reach and surpass revenue goals.
• Experience managing and developing strong donor/client relationships with a proven ability to prospect, cultivate, engage, and retain corporate partners.
• Detailed understanding of the private sector, Sustainability, CSR, and corporate philanthropy, as well as the not-for-profit sector.
• Ability to work well under pressure, manage a high-volume workload, and handle multiple demands and changing priorities.
• Excellent relationship-building skills, able to successfully engage and influence people at all levels from various disciplines.Strong verbal and written communication skills, including public speaking and presentation abilities.Innovative, open-minded, results-driven mindset and resilient with the ability to work flexible hours as needed.
• English-speaking required; multiple languages a plus.

We are looking for an exceptional candidate to join our team of Regional Engagement Managers. These roles are the key drivers of IChemE activity across all UK regions, helping the organisation to achieve its strategic goals of sustainable member growth, and supporting a vibrant and thriving profession.
You will be based in the East / North East of England and will be an important member of our dynamic UK field force. On a daily basis you will engage with regional HEIs, employers, and other priority partners to identify, nurture and grow sustainable relationships and engagement opportunities that positively impact IChemE’s member recruitment, engagement, and retention.
