We’re seeking an Events Administrator to join our ambitious Support, Research and Influencing team. 

You will play a vital role in our team to ensure health professionals across the UK have a better awareness and understanding of pancreatic cancer and the complex supportive care needs of those affected. You can be proud to know that you’re playing a part in these services which will ultimately improve the standard of support and care received by people affected by pancreatic cancer from their healthcare team. 

Some of the main responsibilities are:

• Ensuring our data is accurate, up to date and well maintained within our database, by collating, preparing, and cleaning up a high-volume of data from our events, online courses, and other engagement activities.
• Provide administration of our virtual educational events and online courses to support the success and smooth delivery, and to increase understanding and awareness of pancreatic cancer.
• Provide admin support to colleagues in Research, Influencing and Devolved Nations for in-person events focused on improving the standard of diagnosis, treatment, and care in pancreatic cancer.

Job Purpose
 
BSR’s education programme is a key benefit to members and the wider rheumatology community, providing updates on the essentials needed to deliver top-quality care for patients and ensuring professional development opportunities. 

This role sits within the Education team who are responsible for delivering BSR’s educational activity. Working alongside the Head of Education, the Events and Education Manager and the Digital Events Manager, you will assist in the planning and delivery of a range of education courses, webinars, bursary schemes and eLearning activities.  You will work with the team to support the work of our Education Committee, Trainee Committee and Digital Learning Board. 

This is an exciting role for someone looking to get more hands-on experience in planning and executing a variety of educational events and activities and liaising with multiple stakeholders. It is a unique opportunity to be part of the team at the forefront of rheumatology education, making a tangible impact on the professional development of members and the broader rheumatology community.
 

Main responsibilities

• Manage course and webinar registration processes, including delegate bookings, communications, data management and reporting, and producing delegate materials.  
• Manage course logistics including venue sourcing and management, accommodation and travel, catering and AV.
• Manage the rheumatology training webinar series, including topic development, speaker management and live delivery.
• Manage the creation of monthly eLearning packages including webinars, podcasts and eLearning cases.
• Manage the education bursary programme, including promotion, application management and financial reconciliation.
• Manage CPD accreditation of educational activities. 
• Manage events inbox and education team enquiries.
• Input into our education budgets by monitoring progress against income and expenditure for projects owned. 
• Produce content for webpages and social media platforms to drive interest and engagement and keep delegates informed.  
• Attend committee meetings, provide updates if needed and assist with the minute-taking, agenda preparation and follow-up on actions as necessary.  
• Undertake any other reasonable duties as required by the Head of Education and the Events and Education Manager.

The Events Fundraiser will be responsible for managing the portfolio of challenge events including the marketing; on the day delivery; first class stewardship and participant support from sign up to event completion and volunteer recruitment and management.

Bonsucro is the global sustainability platform and standard for sugarcane. Our purpose is to collectively accelerate the sustainable production and uses of sugarcane. We work with people and organisations across the sugarcane supply chain, including small scale farmers and some of the world’s biggest brands.

We are looking for someone with a good range of experience and a passion for communications. You are versatile and highly organised and comfortable working in a busy environment with multiple concurrent tasks, deadlines and activities. Ideally, you will be a confident writer, able to understand technical information and translate it into accurate and engaging copy for multiple platforms. Key responsibilities

Content, channels and events

• Produce well-written engaging copy, distilling complex technical material into easily digestible articles, blogs and other content pieces for a range of audiences
• Organise, schedule and create high quality targeted content across multiple channels (web, email/newsletters, social media and videos) and for a range of digital campaigns
• Commission consultants to provide content, proofread and edit material for publication

Street Child, one of the world's fastest growing children's charities, are searching for a high-quality corporate partnerships professional with events experience to help maximise the multi-layered opportunities flowing from the charity's unique relationship with Liberty Global plc.

Working directly into the Director of Corporate Partnerships & Fundraising the position will play a pivotal role in leading the strategic partnership delivery and fundraising events function for the Street Child/Liberty Global partnership, for which Liberty Global won 'Business of the Year' in the 2021 Third Sector Business Charity Awards. The role will:

1. Support excellent delivery of existing key pillars of the partnership with Liberty Global (e.g. annual 2-day European 'Big Ride' cycle/run/walk event; and spectacular Autumn London Fundraising Gala - with a combined attendance of 1,200+ & revenues of £2m+).

The role:

We are looking for an organised and enthusiastic team player to deliver high quality support to the Events Manager in the planning and delivery of a range of onsite and online meetings, events and courses.  This will necessitate maintaining effective administration systems and working with databases, websites and social media.

Reporting to the Events Manager, the Events Assistant will provide administrative and event delivery support for events in the planning of physical and/or virtual meetings, events and courses. This will include general support tasks pre-event, onsite and post-event including sourcing and liaising with venues, producing event marketing and communications and coordinating event material.  The postholder will join our Events Manager and Events Assistant – bringing the Events Team to three people.

This role requires exceptional organisational skills, a meticulous eye for accuracy, high levels of customer service and the ability to deliver multiple projects in a timely manner.  Also essential is a flexible, ‘hands-on’ approach and a willingness to help out in all areas of the Association potentially including attending and assisting at events which will require overnight stays at locations throughout the UK.

This role will see the successful candidate manage and develop a portfolio of successful national events. You will be involved in all aspects of the project management cycle from marketing and participant recruitment to supporter stewardship and race day logistics. We are recruiting a Challenge Events Fundraiser to grow PAPYRUS’ challenge event income by leading on allocated PAPYRUS own events, projects and campaigns and managing all third-party challenge events.

What you will do:

· Develop an events plan that will grow income using data from previous years to understand our supporters and build a creative and sustainable income plan for long term growth.

We are seeking a dynamic and efficient Events Manager to deliver a world-class and sector-leading portfolio of annual events to support LSHTM’s Strategy to both internal and external audiences.  Events are diverse and include graduation ceremonies for students, conferences and lectures for academics, policymakers and funders, as well as internal community social events. The position of Event Manager is a central role within the Foundation, not only driving the Foundation forward in both fundraising and keeping the cogs turning in all aspects from administrative detail to event organisation. 

This role is unique, from the breadth of responsibilities to the ownership it allows for an individual. 

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Leading development, delivery and execution of the LGF events programme, consisting of already established major donor events and a focus on improving the range of events for a wide general audience that maximises fundraising and drives supporter engagement.

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with event co-founders, committee members, stakeholders and high net worth individuals to maximise income and secure continued committed support.

• To closely work with the relevant events production agency to ensure the smooth running of events e.g. ensuring dietaries are collected, managing event budget inline with sponsorship.
