As a Financial Business Partner, the successful candidate will:
- Prepare the monthly management reporting pack summarising actual, budget and forecast information
- Ensure the relevant budget and forecast information is fed into the monthly management accounts and quarterly board reports
- Produce and manage the timetable for annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting.
- Ensure all budgets and forecasts are signed off by budget holders, ELT and Trustees
- Be a key point of contact for the wider organisation, sharing and reinforcing key finance processes and understanding
- Support project work and new initiatives by providing financial insight and modelling scenarios.
- Collaborate across the Finance team and share information to ensure we are continually reviewing and seeking process improvements across finance, especially where this impacts the wider organisation
- Provide cover for other roles within the team when needed.
We are looking for:
- Qualified in a recognised professional qualification such as CIMA, ACCA or equivalent, or significant on the job experience at this level.
- A wide variety of financial experience, preferably in both commercial and not-for-profit organisations
- Experience of working with finance and non-finance managers
- Experience of preparing budgets and forecasts
- Experience of building financial models
- Good IT skills in particular excellent Excel skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate, both verbally and in writing

The role

This role will be to support the perpetrator intervention across Wiltshire.
You will be primarily based in Wiltshire supporting the Domestic Abuse Serial Perpetrator (DASP) project, providing bespoke specialist support to perpetrators of domestic abuse. The post holder will work as part of the IOM team within a dynamic, fast paced, crisis intervention, advocacy and support service to ensure that clients who show abusive behaviour are supported through every stage of the process of change. Evening appointments are necessary for this post in Salisbury and Chippenham.
In addition, you will support the delivery of the CPR (Choosing Positive Relationships) Domestic Violence Perpetrator Programme (DVPP), which is an intensive behaviour change programme, designed to increase knowledge and understanding around domestic abuse, the impact on children and healthy relationships. The course teaches tools and strategies to help someone change their behaviour. The CPR group will require weekly evening work in Wiltshire.
The post-holder will be expected to work to Respect standards.
Full training will be available for this role.
Client Based Duties
- Identify and assess the risks and needs of individuals who are abusive in a relationship or other domestic setting, using an evidence-based risk identification checklist.
- Develop personalised risk assessments and safety plans for each service user.
- Advocate for individuals who wish to address their abusive behaviour and show motivation for change with agencies who can help to address the domestic abuse by:
- Understanding the role of all relevant statutory and non-statutory services available to those who are abusive and how your role fits into them.
- Providing advocacy, emotional and practical support and information to individuals, including in relation to drug and alcohol, housing, health and finance.
- Working directly with all key agency partners to address the impact of the abusive behaviour on the safety of high risk victims and ensuring that their safety plans are coordinated.
- Support the client to recognise the abusive behaviour and the effect that it has on their families and assist them in recognising the features and dynamics of domestic abuse present in their situation and help them change unhealthy patterns of behaviour.
- Understand multi-agency partnership structures and work within a multi-agency setting which may include participation at the MAPPA/MARAC. You will contribute interventions and help design a plan to protect victims and any children, while maintaining an independent role on behalf of your client, keeping the victim and any children’s safety as central to any response.
- Ensure support provided is accessible to clients in terms of location and times.
- Be proactive with your line manager in carrying out regular case reviews based on a review of risk and abuse which:
- Feeds back into action planning to further progress, signpost or close cases and;
- Provides feedback to your clients/agencies.
- Help maintain accurate and confidential case management records and databases and contribute to monitoring information for the service.

About the Role
This role will be responsible for developing the vision and direction of the Communication and Marketing Strategy but will fundamentally be an operational management delivery role. Responsible for developing and rolling out a multi‐channel communication and marketing strategy that will:
- raise the profile of the charity by communicating news about projects, programmes, and partnerships on social channels, on online and print media outlets, TV networks,
- deliver communications to generate sales to secure a pipeline of farm residential visit bookings from beneficiary groups (being children from schools in disadvantaged communities, youth groups, young carers, children in care, etc) across England and Wales.
- secure income from fundraising by communicating the charity’s mission, vision, and values to donors, funders, trusts and foundations, and corporate partners.
The successful applicant will have considerable experience of developing and delivering a communication and marketing strategy as well as experience of designing and delivering multi-channel sales and marketing campaigns. Key areas of responsibility include:
- Raising the profile of the Charity by devising and implementing a beneficiary‐focused communications strategy that supports both the sales and fundraising function, including print, social, and online communications that target teachers and other adults who are key decision makers for our beneficiaries.

As CTA's Business Development Manager, your role involves increasing the uptake of MiDAS training and growing CTA membership. This is a vital role designed to support the team's delivery of partnerships and assist with growing partnerships. A focus for the team is to prioritise opportunities with the strongest alignment to Mind's strategic goals and where there is the greatest potential for longer-term strategic and transformational partnerships.
Key duties and responsibilities
Reporting to the Senior Corporate Partnerships Officer, you will be responsible for; providing administrative and fundraising support, developing and stewarding relationships, alongside managing and nurturing a portfolio of partners with support from the SCPO/Managers in the team.
The post holder will:
-Provide administrative and fundraising support to enable the delivery of corporate partnerships.
-With the Corporate Partnerships Officers, be responsible for administrative duties for the team including sending thank you letters to donors, replying to enquiries to the corporate unit email account, monitoring stock levels and ordering fundraising materials.
-Assist the Corporate unit in servicing materials requests from large corporate partners.
-Manage a portfolio of corporate partnerships, aiming to nurture and cultivate the relationship with a donor-focused approach to ensure income targets are achieved.
