Role: Partnerships Administrator

Location: Hybrid - London/Home 

Salary: £23k-£26k dependent on experience

Demand for our specialist tutoring programmes for Children Looked After, those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and Unaccompanied Asylum Seeking Children (UASC) continues to increase and we are seeking an excellent addition to our team to support the increased demand for our provision and to support the continued scaling of our organisation.

The Organisation

Equal Education is a social enterprise working to improve outcomes and narrow the attainment gap for disadvantaged and under-resourced learners, including Children Looked After, those with SEND, and unaccompanied asylum seeking children (UASC). We have 13 years’ experience delivering 1:1 tuition, working with hundreds of schools and local authority partners across the country, reaching hundreds of pupils annually. 

As a member of the Fair Education Alliance, we believe in providing meaningful educational provision to students whose needs may not be best met within a traditional classroom environment, those who aren’t currently accessing education, or who benefit from additional 1:1 support. We work with over 200 qualified teachers to provide academic, subject specialised and individual tutoring and mentoring for children of all ages. These tutors provide pastoral care and work with pupils to increase engagement and attainment. Our programmes will help the students to overcome barriers to learning, help them build trusted relationships, increase their aspirations, and fulfil their potential. We are passionate about our cause and are looking for people who are motivated by a strong desire to address educational inequality and improve outcomes. 

Role Overview:

The Partnerships Administrator will be an integral part of our Partnerships team, providing essential administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the team. 

This role requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual with a passion for persuasive writing, as the primary responsibility will involve crafting compelling short-form bid applications for clients. It is essential that the post-holder has excellent written and verbal communication skills.

The Partnerships Administrator will also assist with key administrative tasks such as responding to client email and telephone inquiries, drafting impact data for client reviews, and attending ad-hoc events.

Key Responsibilities:

• Short Bid/Application Writing:

  • Write effective and persuasive short-form bid applications tailored to various audiences. This will be a significant part of the role, requiring the ability to write with clarity and impact under tight deadlines.

  • Collaborate with the Partnerships team to ensure the bids are aligned with and responding to client needs, and organisational goals.

  • Edit and proofread bids to ensure accuracy and professionalism.

  • Use generative AI to enhance writing practices. 
     

• Client Engagement & Communication:

  • Respond to client calls and emails in a timely and professional manner, ensuring positive and ongoing client relationships.

  • Help draft impact data and reports for client review calls, ensuring the data presented is clear, accurate and impactful.
     

• Administrative Support:

  • Assist the wider Partnerships team with administrative tasks as needed, including scheduling meetings and supporting the preparation of materials for client engagements.

  • Attend and support ad-hoc events related to partnerships, providing administrative assistance as required.

  • Manage and maintain relevant partnership documentation and records.
     

Skills and Qualifications:

• Exceptional Writing Skills: The successful post holder must have ability to write clear, concise, and persuasive content. Experience in bid or application writing or similar fields would be highly advantageous.

• Strong Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adjust tone and style to different audiences. 

• Experience Using Gen AI: Demonstrable experience of using Gen AI tools effectively to enhance written communication and content creation.

• Time Management: Ability to work at pace and under pressure to meet deadlines, particularly during periods with high volumes of bids.

• Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to writing, editing, and organising documents.

• Organisational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and support a busy team.

• Proactive and Collaborative: A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to work closely with others to achieve shared goals.

• Previous Experience: Experience in a similar administrative or support role would be advantageous, particularly in an educational or partnership-driven environment.

Responsibilities

· Develop and execute an annual development plan and budget, focused on identifying and building new groups of supporters (“chapters”) across cities as per the strategy and priority of TCF-UK.

· Achieve fundraising targets, while adhering to the fundraising budget, and thereby delivering a high rate on investment.

· Develop a programme of fundraising activities and initiatives, with the aim of growing regional income for TCF.

· Research, identify and network with key individuals in groups in the community who will support fundraising events and activities.

· Recruit, manage and support fundraising volunteers and supporters.

· Provide support and guidance to groups and individuals in the community who are fundraising on behalf of TCF.

· Develop strategic relationships with key stakeholders (media agencies, journalists etc.) and leverage these to drive awareness about TCF.

You will be a key member of the Data & Insights team, responsible for ensuring our data is accurate, complies with all relevant legislation and helps the wider team to make informed data driven decisions.

You will be responsible for helping with the daily management and administration of the Dynamics CRM system and integrations with other systems, with a particular emphasis on supporting CPRE’s fundraising, supporter care, and campaigning activities. You will ensure data accuracy through regular data cleaning, improvements, and de-duplication processes.

In addition, you will provide timely and accurate data selections and create visual reports to support various organisational needs.

Using your mathematical knowledge and statistical tools you will analyse data, providing interpretation and understanding the numbers within the models. Through this you will support the fundraising team to extract value from our Data Sets by identifying correlations in customer behaviours and giving propensities, leveraging both internal and external data.

You will also work closely with the Finance Team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with excellent analytical and processing skills who wants to take their first step in an analytical career.

The Health Collective is one of our central campaigns. It has emerged out of the urgent need to close the health gap for women from marginalised communities and is made up of and led by grassroots organisations, representing women’s voices from every marginalised community in our society.

The Health Collective Community Manager will be responsible for managing the development, expansion, and sustainability of the Health Collective.

This role will focus on managing and growing the existing community of members, organising and facilitating regular meetings, content creation for the Health Collective, coordinating the development of a unique identity for the group, and establishing an online community forum.

The role will also involve coordinating training sessions, events, and communication between the Collective and external stakeholders. This is an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of a growing community that empowers women and promotes health equality.

Main Duties

Community Engagement & Growth

• Actively manage and grow the online and offline community, recruiting new members from all marginalised communities and fostering a sense of trust and connection.
• Design and manage regular communications with members, updating them about upcoming HC events/meetings, news/policy relevant to the inequalities agenda and funding/research opportunities.
• Set up and run a virtual community for members and monitor and moderate community interactions to ensure a positive and respectful environment.
• Develop and implement strategies to attract and retain members, promoting inclusivity and engagement.

Content Creation & Communication

• Create and share high-quality, educational, and influencing content across social media platforms and the website.
• Collaborate with experts, healthcare providers, and advocates to produce webinars, workshops, and other community-centred initiatives.
• Work with a designer and members to create the Health Collective's logo and identity.

Event Coordination

• Plan, organize, and manage virtual and in-person health collective meetings, liaising with members to determine the agenda and experts to find a diverse range of speakers.
• Collaborate with external partners to enhance event quality and reach.

Monitoring, evaluation & reporting

• Record and monitor the Collective’s activities (output) and their effectiveness (impact) through data collection, surveys, interviews and case studies.
• Report on project progress and update the Wellbeing of Women team regularly.
• Report on project progress to National Lottery at least twice a year with information about the Collective’s outputs and impact along with an expenditure budget for the period
• Work with an external consultant to assess the Collective’s impact annually.

Advocacy

• Work with the Head of Comms and Campaigns to build relationships with key stakeholders, influencers, and organisations aligned with the collective’s mission.
• Monitor news and political developments relevant to the Health Collective’s work.

We are seeking a Political Adviser to join our Politics Team at this crucial time for accelerating the shift away from oil and gas. Uplift is a campaigning and research organisation helping to move the UK towards a fossil fuel-free future and to support a just transition away from fossil fuel production. 

The role

As one of Uplift’s Political Advisers, you will play a central role in building political support for the UK’s transition away from oil and gas extraction. Your role will sit within Uplift’s Politics Team, and will involve working closely within networks across Westminster. You will be a skilled communicator able to support the implementation of Uplift's political strategy, and use your initiative and political instincts to further the political debate on phasing out fossil fuels.

The Role

As part of the End Furniture Poverty team, you’ll work closely with the Director of End Furniture Poverty to lead and deliver our research strategy. You’ll develop and deliver high-quality research, analyse complex data, and create publications that inform policy and influence real-world change.

Key Responsibilities

• Leading primary and secondary research into the causes, effects, and solutions to furniture poverty

• Designing qualitative and quantitative studies

• Handling large datasets and using tools like SPSS, Stata or R for analysis

• Writing publication-standard reports and policy briefings

• Mapping services and interventions in the sector

• Staying up to date with key policy developments

• Supporting our influencing work with powerful evidence and insight

Skills and Experience:

• Strong experience of both qualitative and quantitative social research

• Educated to degree level (ideally in a relevant field such as social or political science)

• Postgraduate social research qualification

• Excellent communication skills – written and verbal

• Proficiency in statistical software (e.g. SPSS, R, Stata)

• Confidence in managing complex datasets and distilling insights

Role Purpose

The Operations Director is a critical leadership role responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective running of all operational aspects of Katherine Low Settlement. This role oversees the day-to-day operational leadership of the charity, ensuring that its systems, processes, and teams are aligned with strategic objectives and compliant with relevant legislation.

This position will lead on programme delivery, financial management, human resources, IT infrastructure, risk and compliance, governance, and facilities management, ensuring that the organisation operates smoothly and sustainably. The post-holder will act as the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL), embedding a strong safeguarding culture across the organisation, and also be responsible for policy development and culture and wellbeing. 

As a key member of the senior leadership team, the Operations Director will work closely with the CEO, Board of Trustees, funders, partners, and staff to drive organisational effectiveness and ensure that the charity can continue delivering high-impact work.

Operational Leadership & Organisational Strategy

• Provide strategic leadership for all operational functions, ensuring alignment with the organisation’s mission and strategic objectives.

About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Multi-Skilled Engineer in our Facilities team at St Joseph’s Hospice. We are looking for someone who has experience in plumbing, mechanical and electrical working in a palliative care/clinical environment.

The role will provide support to the team and carry out repairs to mechanical and plumbing services and equipment, e.g. replacement of filters in ventilation systems, check tensions of drive belts, record details of works, materials and time on a docket or our helpdesk system. The role will also support with programmed planned maintenance works to mechanical and plumbing services such as checking temperature of water taps and outlets, descaling showerheads, following prescribed instructions to defined standards, record actions and/or findings using a formal written report system and provide information to the Head of Facilities on replacement parts and spares to enable orders to be raised.

About you

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Either BTEC National Certificate (HNC Electronic Engineering). Or Completion of at least 4yr apprenticeship of Practical and Theoretical Training as an Electronic Technician or equivalent
• Good knowledge of plumbing materials sufficient to be able to maintain and discuss the maintenance needs of water systems i.e. pump and pipe sizes and their uses
• Good knowledge on health and Safety risk assessment and relevant Health and Safety legislation.
