Role Overview:
The Talent Set is working with a fantastic charity who are looking for a dynamic Communications Lead to play a pivotal role in shaping their external communications for an initial 3–4-month contract.
This is a fantastic opportunity to drive a cultural shift within their team, set up best practices, and mentor junior staff while directly contributing to high-quality communications output. We need someone who is equally comfortable shaping strategy as they are writing an engaging article for our website or reviewing a press release.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead on developing and implementing communication strategies, ensuring alignment with our rebrand and organisational goals.

Our Finance team is looking to recruit a Finance Officer to join our Accounts Payable (AP) team to support the work and transactions that British Heart Foundation (BHF) perform for us to fund lifesaving science.
As an Accounts Payable Finance Officer, you'll:
- support the team and deliver a high-quality service in terms of timely, accurate and efficient entry of BHF expenditure onto our central accounting system
- ensure you achieve key performance indicators and individual targets agreed upon and set by the AP Team leader
- ensure that all transactions are coded and authorised to meet month end deadlines and meet agreed service levels.
- work on data capture and will have knowledge of IPOS queue management.
The AP team provides a high level of customer service, ensuring colleagues and suppliers are kept updated in the process and that the payment process is as smooth as possible, so you’ll effectively manage your workload and escalate complex issues to the team lead.
Understanding the needs of customers, you’ll raise the profile of finance through provision across the AP team of best-in-class service both internally and externally.
The role involves dealing with internal & external customers via email and over the phone, so you’ll be confident communicating in both conversation and writing.
Working arrangements
This is a blended role, where your work will be dual located between your home and our London office.

About you
You’ll have previous experience within accounts payable or be someone wanting to get into Finance with strong organisational skills, able to pick up tasks quickly and with ease.

Director of Secretariat
This is a role in which you can make a major difference to the smooth running of the diocese, which serves the whole of Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, and Oxfordshire.

The Role

About You

What will you be doing?
We are looking to recruit a committed individual to support the delivery and development of our youth justice practice work, specifically to provide support to police and youth justice services in the delivery of youth diversion.
Youth diversion schemes are a way of addressing low-level criminal behaviour without putting children through the formal criminal justice processing (either through out of court resolutions (OOCRS) or prosecution) that can result in a criminal conviction and other negative consequences. These schemes operate for under-18s in a variety of different models across the country.
Since 2014, we have provided direct support to over 70 YJSs and their local police forces to develop their diversion schemes, as well as supporting the development of new schemes. In this role, you will help provide this support, which will include: delivering multi-agency workshops, assessing practice against the evidence base, reviewing guidance and protocols and providing recommendations for improvement.

Hospital Liaison Worker

The Role
Using a caring, compassionate and trauma informed approach you will be engaging with individuals who have been admitted to hospital and have a substance use support need. You will deliver a range of interventions including advice, harm reduction and structured psycho-social interventions. You will work closely alongside colleagues within the hospital to ensure that appropriate support is offered to all those in need.
The post will work within the Likewise alcohol and other drug service to establish a high quality hospital liaison service for patients; ensuring and providing appropriate assessments, interventions and co-developing multi-agency discharge plans and pathways to reduce relapse and hospital readmission.
Based within the local hospitals, the post will ensure effective communication with relevant hospital departments (e.g. Mental Health, Hepatology & Gastroenterology, A&E, Maternity) and externally with Together and other community services (e.g. GPs, outreach, housing and community justice services).
The post will provide advice, guidance and training to healthcare professionals in recognition, treatment & management of alcohol and other drug related problems, including the delivery of brief interventions.
As a Hospital Liaison Worker, you will be responsible for:
- Attending hospital ward rounds and maintaining good communication with hospital staff.
- Responding to hospital liaison referrals from within the hospital.
- Delivering interventions to clients face-to-face and over the phone.
- Working autonomously to manage a caseload of their service users, including delivering a range of psychosocial interventions.

About the role
As one of our Senior Marketing Managers in the Brand team, you will be at the forefront of delivering the integrated Christmas campaign for 2025. You will lead the development, execution, and evaluation of this pivotal campaign, ensuring all activities are completed on time, within budget, and meet their targets. This campaign is crucial in inspiring more people to engage with and support the BHF’s life-changing, life-saving work.

About you
With a strong experience in developing and leading integrated brand campaigns, you’ll be both innovative and creative, with expertise in brand and visual identity management.
You’ll have a CIM/IDM or similar marketing qualification and a proven track record in leading multi-channel marketing campaigns, preferably in charity or health marketing, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to brief.
Additionally, you have strong influencing and negotiating skills, with previous experience managing agencies and suppliers and fostering collaboration with diverse teams and stakeholders, using diplomacy and empathy.
To be successful, you will be:
- Proven experience in developing and leading ATL integrated brand campaigns

About the roles:
Each Finance Business Partner will support a specific directorate, building strong, collaborative relationships with service managers and senior leadership. Your role will be to help shape financial decision-making and provide meaningful insights that lead to better outcomes for the community. Key responsibilities include:
- Acting as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to senior stakeholders
- Supporting budget setting, monitoring and forecasting processes

This is an exciting time to join the Philanthropy & Partnerships Team at Thames Valley Air Ambulance as we continue our journey to increase our annual income from £12 million to £14 million over the next two years.
Corporate Partnerships is an income stream that we want to make more strategic and sustainable long term, and the Corporate Partnerships Manager will be a vital part of this growth.
Supported by our Head of Philanthropy & Partnerships, and the wider team you will be part of a hardworking, collaborative and passionate team, all dedicated to raising funds to ensure we are able to give everybody in our community the best chance of surviving and recovering from an emergency.
The role
- In conjunction with the Head of Philanthropy & Partnerships, develop and lead a corporate giving programme to create sustainable funding, in line with the Fundraising department strategy and Thames Valley Air Ambulance aims.
- To be responsible for the day-to-day management of corporate fundraising for Thames Valley Air Ambulance, maximising income from corporates and ensuring support is strengthened through compelling proposals and excellent stewardship.
- Act as a source of expertise in corporate fundraising for the charity.
About you
The ideal candidate for this role should be someone with a proven track record in fundraising or new business development, particularly in building successful, long-term partnerships with corporate supporters. They should possess experience in developing multi-year partnerships, providing excellent stewardship, and driving financial targets. A strong networker, they must be adept at connecting with a wide range of people, influencing, and negotiating to secure partnerships.
Additionally, the role requires someone with a deep understanding of relationship fundraising techniques and corporate social responsibility, along with strong communication skills across various platforms. Specific responsibilities
An applicant appointed to the role will be expected to:
- Be responsible for curating CSE's social media content calendar. With support from digital comms manager, produce engaging content and ensure CSE’s social channels reflect our strategic goals.
- Create engaging multimedia digital content for websites, social media and our e-newsletter including written copy (blogs, news stories, content pages), video, and graphics using Canva and Adobe Creative Cloud.
- Lead on producing video content to promote CSE’s work, including planning, filming, and editing content using Premier Pro.
- Maintain CSE’s video library, including our internal folders, processes, and YouTube channel.
