EduSpots is a dynamic, community-driven UK and Ghana-registered charity that connects, trains, and equips volunteer community educators (known as ‘Catalysts’) to drive grassroots educational change. About the Role
EduSpots is seeking a Global Philanthropy Manager—an engaging, dynamic, and proven fundraising specialist who will play a key part in our next phase of growth. As we continue to expand, we need an individual with a track record of securing income from trusts and foundations, ideally at the 5- to 6-figure level (GBP), and the ability to cultivate new funding partnerships.
In the past two years, we have doubled our income and expanded our programmes significantly. We are now poised for further growth and need someone who understands the value of community-driven change. You will collaborate closely with our CEO, Ghana-based Heads of Programmes, and Head of Operations to develop funding proposals and nurture donor relationships at a strategic level.
Depending on experience and availability, this role may involve overseeing a small part-time fundraising team (including a Fundraising Manager, Trusts and Foundations Manager, and Communications Manager). In time, the position could evolve into a Head of Fundraising role.

This is the opportunity to play an influential and impactful role in one of the most important causes of our generation – the climate emergency. Trees will enable 25% of the UK's 2050 net zero ambition and this role sits at the heart of this, supporting one of the UK’s largest woodland creation partnerships, England’s Community Forests.
The Community Forest Trust (CFT) is a charity that supports, enables and champions England’s Community Forests (ECFs). Across England there are 15 Community Forests that deliver social, economic, and environmental impact through woodland creation and restoration. In 2024/2025 they will plant over 2.5 million trees, most of which are funded through Defra’s national tree planting programme, the Nature for Climate Fund Programme.
The Managing Director will have the drive, rigour, and organisational and stakeholder management skills to develop and deliver a new CFT Business Plan. The current Business Plan was developed in 2022 and runs to March 2025. It has now been delivered.
The Managing Director will be responsible for providing the overall leadership and management of CFT and ensure effective governance and compliance with all legal requirements. To fulfil this aim, the Managing Director must ensure that robust structures and systems are in place to deliver CFT’s strategic priorities and CFT’s charitable aims and objectives.
A few key responsibilities of the role include:
- Take ownership of delivering the future direction and shape of CFT and deliver the CFT vision
- Provide organisational leadership for CFT, establishing and implementing business objectives through a business plan

The Role
5Rights Foundation is seeking a dynamic and skilled Communications Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a central role in managing external communications, strengthening our media presence, and ensuring our messaging aligns with the organisation’s pioneering and ambitious global advocacy objectives. Working closely with the Communications Lead and the Director Partnerships & Communications, the Social Media & Website Officer will lead the development and execution of the charity's social media and website content in line with the charity's freshly implemented communications strategy, with the ability to propose new ideas and insights.

1. Main Duties
Communications Strategy
- Design, develop, and implement the Diocese’s Communications Strategy which is fully aligned with the Diocese ten-year Mission plan.
- Research and identify appropriate methods and channels including secular and religious media to raise the Diocese’s profile and in turn that of the Catholic church.
- Collaborate with partners, such as the Bishops Conference of England and Wales to help shape and influence public policy aligned with Diocesan objectives.
External Communications
- Proactively identify opportunities for promoting positive news about the work of the diocese and enabling the Diocesan Bishop to contribute to thought leadership and public debate on relevant policies.
- Drafting material appropriate for publication.
- Arranging video to support key diocesan publications such as Bishops Pastoral Letters.
- Build and develop the Diocese’s links with press and media to support strategic objectives.
- Act as the point of contact for sensitive news, advising the Bishop and senior staff about media handling.

Support to Key Departments
