We are looking for a Highly experienced leader and senior practitioner who is flexible and interested in carrying out a diverse and rewarding role overseeing and leading on Safeguarding responsibilities and good practice and Customer Experience. You will work proactively with the Executive and senior management team in order to ensure excellent duty of care for Safeguarding and in promoting an open and learning culture. You will work to uphold Duty of Candour principles. Creative Support works with over 6,000 service users across over 650 sites throughout England with 80 CQC registered locations.  We have an excellent reputation on which to build.

The Head of Safeguarding and Customer Experience will continue and develop the successful corporate senior level oversight of safeguarding and oversee our Serious Incident Register and procedure to Board level. Additional to this through the delivery of excellent customer experience the post holder will be ambitious for the lives of the people we support and will ensure people are safe and well supported, the role will innovate and advocate for the voice of service user to be heard and their preferences for support respected and delivered.

Some key skills required for the roles are to be informed, calm, responsible, insightful, exceptional report writing skills, leadership skills, Teamwork, reflective practice, professionally curious, excellent interagency skills and values led. 

The Head of Safeguarding and Customer Experience will oversee two small teams and be part of the Quality senior leadership team. You will be digitally literate, have excellent report writing and presentation skills and contribute to excellent social care governance processes with other senior colleagues and the executive team.

The post holder will be primarily based at our head office in Stockport, work pattern will be agreed based on the needs of the role. You will work in conjunction proactively with the senior management team in order to ensure excellent duty of care is delivered.  

The post holder will also be expected to deliver local skills based training sessions and coaching in order to improve management skills in managing and preventing safeguarding. Skills based work will include maintaining open and learning cultures, Duty of candour approaches and providing excellent customer experience.

Overall Purpose: As the Education Coordinator, you will be responsible for leading, coordinating, and delivering Baca's education program. Your role will be crucial in enabling the young people we support to achieve a standard of English that allows them to enrol in local college courses and become empowered individuals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver the education program creatively to meet the diverse needs of young people.
• Support the achievement of outcomes in line with Baca’s Theory of Change, including improved physical and emotional wellbeing, increased engagement with education, employment, and training, social engagement, and personal safety.
• Review and develop the education program to ensure it meets the needs of young people and college course requirements.
• Liaise with colleges and education providers to support student enrolment and ongoing academic success.
• Recruit, train, support, and supervise education volunteers, including developing volunteer resources and training packs.
• Coordinate education support from volunteers, ensuring effective matching with young people and development of appropriate activities.
• Participate in meetings to deliver services effectively.
• Oversee the education volunteering budget and resources.
• Conduct monitoring and evaluation of volunteer activities.
• Maintain accurate records and databases, including monthly and end-of-year reports.

International Care Network (ICN) is a Christian charity whose aim is to help to rebuild the lives of refugees, asylum seekers and vulnerable migrants. We are seeking a passionate, innovative and committed Wellbeing Coordinator to lead the development and implementation of a new wellbeing service designed specifically for refugees and asylum seekers in Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole (BCP) and other parts of Dorset. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the challenges faced by refugees and asylum seekers together with a mental health/wellbeing qualification and/or equivalent experience.  They will be dedicated to providing warm, welcoming, culturally-sensitive and person-centred mental health and wellbeing support. They will work pro-actively and collaboratively with ICN service users, staff, partners and local services to co-develop, deliver and evaluate a local service that enables individuals to build resilience and agency on their recovery journey. They will be confident in providing trauma-informed support and guidance including referral to counselling and other services, particularly for those who experience barriers in this process.

The role is funded by the National Lottery Community Fund until December 2027 and has the Lived Experience support of Dorset’s leading charity in this area, the Dorset Mental Health Forum (DMHF).

The Head of Region provides strategic and operational leadership in the region, ensuring the effective and efficient operation of the regional team and the successful development and delivery of the regional business plan and projects. The role drives the achievement of key performance indicators and targets with a particular focus on church income and community engagement. 

Key relationships

Internally, the Head of Region works closely with the Director of Operations and other Heads of Region to support consistent operational delivery, and management and development of regional staff. The role also interacts closely with all other CCT teams including Conservation, Fundraising & Communication, Initiatives & Partnerships, and Finance.

Externally, the Head of Region is CCT’s regional representative, brokering joint working and engagement with statutory and Church of England stakeholders, funders, politicians at all levels, volunteers, communities and donors.

Sussex Emmaus is a 58 bed supported accommodation project. We offer low to medium support for those who have experienced or may be at risk of experiencing homelessness. Emmaus supports people to work their way out of homelessness, providing a home for as long as someone needs it. Emmaus works with people who may have faced multiple disadvantages. This can include but is not exclusive to: homelessness; mental health issues; contact with the criminal justice system; historical substance and/or alcohol misuse; and domestic abuse.
Emmaus is a homelessness charity with a difference, we offer a home, work and a sense of belonging. For many people who have experienced homelessness, losing their self-esteem can be the most damaging part of their experience. Emmaus provides an opportunity to work; it can be valuable in rebuilding companion’s self-esteem and self-worth. 

Job Summary:
Provide support to Companions using a person-centred approach, both emotionally and practically, so they can live and work in the Emmaus Community. The role will involve using a Strength Based Practice model to encourage Companions to become resilient and fulfilled. Assist Companions to become independent and maximise their skills, where necessary accessing outside support and services. Where appropriate, in accordance with Companion requests, provide a move-on pathway that enables them to be ready to live independently. 
Promote and embed a proactive approach to equality and diversity, by example and approach, with a commitment to treat all staff, volunteers, visitors and Companions with equity and respect.

About the role

You will be based in the North East and as a key part of our schools team, help to lead, support and advise the regional team of school Pathways Coordinators, embedding the MCR programme in schools in the region.  You’ll need to be highly motivated to ensure that all care-experienced young people and those experiencing disadvantage are supported to find, grow and use their individual talents and that their education, employment choices and life changes outcomes are maximised.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide support, development, training, management and motivation to MCR staff in schools

• Support school integration of the programme and a consistently high quality standard of programme delivery

• Develop and support partnerships with the Local Councils, further and higher education institutions, local business and all MCR stakeholders

• Provide analysis of programme performance, impact and development

• Experience of developing and effectively managing teams and programmes

• Self-motivated and skilled at motivating others

• Experience of or strong interest in working or volunteering in the third sector

• Experience of working within or in collaboration with secondary schools

• Excellent communication and presentation skills

Our expert team of canine behaviourists provide behavioural support and advice to teams within Battersea, members of the public, and the rescue organisations we work with around the world. The team design and help implement behaviour modification and training plans for dogs whilst coaching members of the canine care groups through the practical day-to-day steps. They also assist with behavioural and welfare assessments of animals who come into our centres and are on hand to help manage and provide further support with dogs with more complex behavioural needs. The team provide support to dogs during their stay at Battersea, and are also available for continued advice after rehoming.

We are now looking to recruit a Canine Behaviour and Training Advisor for our team in London. Within this role, you will work with our operational teams in the assessment and welfare of the dogs in our care and in the provision of behavioural training and advice for staff, volunteers, customers and external organisations. You will be working as part of a care group to create behaviour modification plans, support with handling difficult dogs and make recommendations, along with the individual care group, for individual dog outcomes.
