As Purposeful Ventures' Evaluation Manager you will work in a newly forming evaluation team, as part of a larger experienced and growing organisation, alongside inspirational charities and social enterprises to successfully grow and deliver systemic change.
Purposeful Ventures is currently developing a framework to better understand our impact as an organisation and our approach to monitoring and evaluation for our projects and portfolio organisations. This evaluation work is intended to allow us and the organisations we work with to learn, and to support internal accountability and decision-making.
You will have a crucial role in implementing our developing approaches to monitoring and evaluation to better understand and learn about our impact as an organisation and supporting our portfolio organisations to better understand and maximise the difference they make for young people. You will work closely with both internal and external colleagues, using your technical evaluation skills to provide evaluation support to our portfolio organisations, aligned with sector standards and programme maturity, to inform programme design, delivery and communication of impact.
Successful candidates will have demonstrable experience and success in evaluation roles. This may include research roles in a research agency or other settings designing and delivering robust evaluations for funders or the charitable sector.

What could my day look like?
The Education Worker role is a frontline, fast-paced and rewarding role where no two weeks will look the same. A typical day will have different activities, possibly spread between the IntoUniversity centre, partner schools and the offices of a corporate partner.
In the morning, you might be setting off with resources to run a workshop for sixth-form students in their secondary school. In the afternoon you may be setting up the classroom ahead of running Primary Academic Support for young people in your IntoUniversity centre. On other days, you may be travelling to a corporate partner to run a business simulation workshop for 15 year-olds or leading a group of final year primary school students on a campus visit for their graduation.
As an Education Worker, you’ll always be delivering the programme as part of your centre team, which means that any delivery is always a team effort.

About you:
You understand the education sector. You really understand how schools, colleges and/or Alternative Provision settings tick. You have experience working in/with an education setting, ideally in a role that worked with young people who are vulnerable to or involved in violence. You might have previous experience of supporting a school to reflect on and adopt evidence-based practice.
You are fascinated about change and are experienced in making it happen. You have outstanding analytical judgment alongside the emotional intelligence and experience needed to identify the right opportunities for change, then make them happen. You understand why people find change difficult. You come alive talking about how people make decisions and why they do the things they do.

We are seeking an experienced project manager to join our team to oversee the successful delivery of several postgraduate level educational products that will support the learning & development of healthcare professionals working in the field of sexual and reproductive healthcare.
The role includes managing project tasks and timelines, budgets, stakeholders, and cross-functional team collaboration. As part of the team the postholder will work closely with the E&T Team, FSRH members, clinical and non-clinical experts and suppliers.
The role will:
- Manage the full project lifecycle, from initiation to close, for several educational products.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including task lists, schedules, and resource allocations.
- Organise and facilitate regular project meetings to track progress, identify risks & issues.
- Monitor project budgets and report on financial performance.
- Communicate project status and metrics to key stakeholders.
- Collaborate with clinical-subject matter experts on content developers, suppliers and others to ensure successful delivery.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, and develop contingency plans as needed.
- Document project processes and lessons learned to improve future project execution.
You will be:
- An accredited project manager (or have equivalent experience).
- An experienced and effective project manager with the ability to deliver complex education focused programmes.
- Proficient in using project management methodologies and tools.
- Able to multitask, prioritise, and work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Able to use your excellent communication skills to achieve collaboration a cross-functional teams and with a variety of stakeholders.
You will have:
- Experience in using a variety of digital solutions including learning management systems, databases and project management software.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

The Education Officer post offers an exciting opportunity for someone to play a key and visible senior role within the postgraduate education support staff team in the Education and Training Division. Anna Freud works in academic partnership with UCL, a world-renowned, Russell Group university, as the awarding body for its postgraduate programmes. The UCL-Anna Freud collaboration leads on the delivery of a successful portfolio of academic research and clinical programmes.
The Education Officer carries managerial responsibility for the day-to-day administration of all programmes/modalities within their remit. They will also oversee the work of a wider team of Programme Officers dedicated to the delivery of UCL programmes in the Postgraduate Studies team. The post-holder will be responsible for a range of tasks including programme organisation, delivery of assessment, examinations and awards, managing the work of a team, timetabling, supporting the student experience and their general wellbeing, committee servicing and undertaking other relevant duties as and when required. They will also be expected to meet the demands of supporting innovative, teaching and learning programmes that include the use of Digital Education to support accessible learning through a mix of in-person and online teaching.
The ideal candidate will have excellent knowledge and experience of providing high quality programme administration, including leading on the delivery of key elements of the student lifecycle and ensuring a high-quality service to prospective and current students, as well as programme staff. The post-holder should be experienced in the use of HEI systems like SITS, Moodle (or other similar Virtual Learning Environments) and online platforms to support the delivery of teaching and learning (e.g. Zoom, Microsoft Teams, etc.). They should also be familiar with processes and procedures commonly used to support programme delivery. This coupled with a strong understanding of lengthy and complex academic regulations,

We seek a highly motivated, STEM-focused individual to become our Head of Education. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will deliver the UKESF’s current programme and identify and execute opportunities to increase our impact.
The primary responsibilities of the Head of Education will include:
Ensure the operational effectiveness and impact of the UKESF’s current portfolio of schools’ projects and activities.
- Oversee existing schools’ projects to identify areas of development, efficiency or impact.
- Manage two direct reports.
- Identify opportunities for income or fundraising to support continued delivery of the projects.
- Ensure that schools’ projects are being delivered on budget. Oversee resource purchasing, develop and manage the projects budgets in line with funding.

- Evaluate and report on the success of existing projects.
Lead the development and creation of new projects and activities to promote Electronics in schools, from Primary through to 6th Form.
- Identify opportunities for new projects, that are impactful and age-appropriate. Projects can be either developed internally or collaboratively with our stakeholders.
- Ensure new programmes help us to achieve our mission, and compliment our existing integrated skills programme.
- Identify funding opportunities and manage the project budget effectively.
- Evaluate and adapt programmes to ensure maximum impact. Some external reporting will be required.
Develop and maintain relationships with our external educational stakeholders and collaborators.
- Work with teachers from multiple disciplines to inspire pupils with Electronics
- Consider how relationships with schools and their pupils can be nurtured to increase the number of students who go on to pursue Electronics
- Attend events, meetings and forums as relevant to raise the profile of our Electronics resources and support for schools.

Education Programmes Lead
Vocabulous is looking to recruit a part-time member of staff to lead its regional training programmes, recruit more schools, and help develop the curriculum at both KS2 and KS3.
We are looking for an innovative and enthusiastic individual who is passionate about improving students’ outcomes in literacy, and excited about revealing the patterns in English vocabulary to the next generation of students.
Position: Education Programmes Lead
Location: Remote (infrequent travel to support schools in the North of England)

The Role
Vocabulous is an innovative online resource to aid targeted and explicit vocabulary teaching in Key Stage 2 and 3 English lessons. We are looking for a part-time member of staff to lead our education programmes. This will involve talking to new schools about using the site, working with schools to support them to implement Vocabulous in lessons and running regional training programmes to build networks of schools that are confidently and consistently teaching Latin and Greek roots.
The other aspect of the role is to contribute to the development of the new KS2 and KS3 curricula. This will involve designing aspects of the new programmes, writing questions and resources, and planning changes in response to school feedback. Over the next couple of years, the programme is going to be split into a KS2 site and a KS3 site, with the KS2 site being launched in September 2025.
We are a small organisation with a social purpose, so we are looking for someone who is excited about the job description, but who is also interested in learning more about all aspects of running an education start-up and keen to support Vocabulous’ strategy and growth beyond their job role.

The role and your key responsibilities
As Marketing Lead, you’ll head up the marketing to our UK and international school audiences - from building compelling email campaigns to crafting engaging slide decks. UK and international schools are our two biggest audiences, and you’ll play a key role in driving their continued growth, helping us to support as many students as possible to make informed decisions about their next steps.

We are seeking a knowledgeable and motivated Policy Impact Manager to join our policy impact team in London at the Modern Slavery and Human Rights Policy and Evidence Centre in the Humanities Division at the University of Oxford.
The Modern Slavery and Human Rights Policy and Evidence Centre (PEC) exists to enhance understanding of modern slavery and transform the effectiveness of law and policies designed to address it. The Centre funds and co-creates high quality research with a focus on policy impact, and brings together academics, policymakers, businesses, civil society and survivors to collaborate on solving this global challenge.
You will play a key role in maximising the impact of the Modern Slavery and Human Rights PEC’s research on laws and policies to address modern slavery, and will work collaboratively with researchers, practitioners, policymakers and law-makers as part of the University of Oxford’s only dedicated Policy and Evidence Centre.
About you
You will have experience of working at the interface of public policy and research, with expertise in issues relating to modern slavery or human rights, and will have a good understanding of policymaking and law-making processes in the UK.
