About the Role
As a growing organisation, we’re in an exciting phase of crafting our voice, expanding our reach, and shaping how we connect with teachers, schools, and the wider education sector. An important part of this work is our presence at events at both a national and local level.
The Marketing & Events Coordinator plays a key role in the Partnerships team in organising and delivering various sector events, from exhibiting at conferences for senior school leaders to the graduation events of our teacher trainees. You'll also provide vital support to the Partnerships managers supporting a mix of marketing and communications campaigns designed to help recruit educators to our professional development programmes and highlight the findings from our in-house research function.
This is a hybrid role, and it is anticipated that the postholder will work on campus one day per fortnight. We offer flexible working and would consider part-time hours for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting the development and execution of the National Institute of Teaching’s marketing and branding strategies.

Since 2011 Disability Africa has developed a model using playschemes as hubs to deliver essential lifesaving services to extremely vulnerable disabled children and to end their exclusion in low-income African communities. Using this model, we have worked with project partners in Kenya, The Gambia, Sierra Leone and Zambia. 680 disabled children have now attended our projects more than 90,000 times since 2011. Now the charity is planning to grow and expand with our 5-year plan (‘DA2029’) to replicate the Disability Africa Model to reach more disabled children across Africa.
By 2029 we will:
• Start work with at least 4 new partners in Africa (as well as expected growth at our existing projects).
• Deliver 160,000 attendances by at least 1,500 disabled children in 7 African countries.
• Grow and reach as many disabled children as possible - we know we can’t do it all by ourselves - so we will engage other international NGOs to adopt our model of inclusion.

The Role
The Inclusion Specialist will play a crucial role in supporting children and young people affected by the Grenfell tragedy. Working within the Education Hub and local schools, you will help enhance learning experiences, provide tailored interventions, and ensure inclusive practices for children with SEN.
You will:
- Deliver one-to-one and group-based interventions, including after-school programs and small group teaching sessions tailored to specific learning needs.
- Conduct diagnostic assessments to support the development of tailored learning plans.

About You

About the Organisation
The Grenfell Education Hub will open later this year to serve those most affected by the Grenfell Tower tragedy. The hub will provide educational support to children, young people, their families, and local schools.
Following a consultation process in 2023 and 2024, the hub will bring together a team of professionals, including four specialist teachers, an Educational Psychologist, a Speech and Language Therapist, an Occupational Therapist, a Careers Coordinator, and a Family Support Worker. Their time will be split between direct work with children and families in the hub and supporting local schools.

The main duties of the role

Background:
Street Child is a rapidly growing, child-focused, humanitarian and development organisation. In 2023, Street Child celebrated reaching over 1.5m children across 25 countries over fifteen years of existence. This was accomplished with and through a growing network of more than 200 national and local actors.
In the East and Southern Africa region, Street Child operates in Kenya, Mozambique, Somalia, South Sudan, and Uganda, focusing on education in emergencies, child protection, and livelihoods for caregivers programming. These initiatives are primarily delivered through local partners or government entities. The regional annual programme portfolio of approximately $4 million and is targeting growth in 2025 and beyond.
Role Purpose:
The Regional Head of Programmes & Partnerships will oversee and strengthen the portfolio of education, child protection, and livelihood programming across the region. They will support country programme teams, ensuring technical excellence and high-impact interventions for vulnerable and crisis-affected children. The role will also drive strategic partnerships, business development, and programme quality, fostering growth and innovation while ensuring strong local partnerships and adherence to safeguarding standards.
Specifically, this position will play a critical role in driving business development and programme growth by supporting countries with proposal development needs, funding opportunities, and strategic leverage that align with Street Child’s country-level and global objectives. The role will also contribute to innovative programme design, ensuring high-quality implementation and technical excellence at the country level. Key responsibilities include ensuring efficient project cycle management and robust Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL) systems while upholding rigorous safeguarding standards. Additionally, the role will foster equitable partnerships with local actors, addressing capacity-strengthening needs to enhance programme impact and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Programme Leadership & Technical Support: Oversee programme design, implementation, and quality assurance, ensuring strong technical standards in education, child protection, and livelihoods. Person Specifications:
The ideal candidate will possess significant experience in the development or humanitarian sector, particularly with education/education in emergencies programming, and child protection and livelihoods. They should have a proven track record with innovative proposal design and program delivery, including implementing project management systems, ensuring programme quality, and making technical assistance available to country teams. Strong analytical thinking skills, applied with creativity and resourcefulness, will be highly valued. Experience of adapting, improvising and building systems in low-capacity environments is of particular interest. The candidate should also have experience and/or interest in working with and supporting local partners to ensure effective implementation and equitable partnerships. Strong coaching and mentoring skills and the ability to lead teams and communicate effectively will be important.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in education, social work, international development, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
- Significant experience (8+ years) in programme/project management in the NGO sector, ideally in education, child protection, and livelihoods.
- Experience designing relevant education programmes and building partnerships.
- Proven track record in business development, including successful proposal writing, project design, and donor relations.
- Experience working with local partners and partnership development.
- Familiarity with key institutional donors and UN agencies.
- Strong understanding of safeguarding principles and practical experience in implementing safeguarding measures in programmes.

About this role
We are looking for an engaging and dynamic fundraising specialist and team player with a proven track record of income generation through trusts and foundations, to take on this exciting new role at this exciting point of our organisational growth.
Over the last two years, EduSpots has significantly grown its income through trusts and foundations, and advanced the quality, scope and reach of its operations in Ghana, with further plans for expansion in the years ahead. We are looking for an individual that understands the value of community-led change, with all our work centred on, and resulting from the actions of 400 locally-based educational Catalysts.
Reporting directly to the CEO, you will take on the responsibility for growing our income generation with a focus on trusts and foundations. We are looking for an experienced individual, who is able to work closely with the CEO to develop larger fundraising partnerships at this exciting point in our development.
Depending on availability and experience, this individual may oversee a small part-time fundraising team, comprising a Fundraising Manager, Trusts and Foundations Manager, and Communications Manager, alongside interns and other income-generation roles that may emerge. Main Duties and Responsibilities
The key responsibilities of this role are to:
- Lead the development and execution of a global fundraising strategy that focuses on medium-large and multi-year commitments from trusts and foundations, as well as potentially the development of corporate partnerships which align to EduSpots’ values and/or donations from major donors, dependent on experience.
- Work with the CEO, and Ghana-based Heads of Programmes and Head of Operations to develop and write strategic programme and organisational bids, feeding into the wider strategic development of the organisation.

- Work with the CEO and Communications Manager to develop a compelling case for support and a suite of materials for donor engagement that can showcase the importance of EduSpots’ work internationally.
- Create bespoke stewardship plans for existing donors that demonstrate the impact of their support, foster mutual trust and secure renewed support for EduSpots’ work.
- Oversee the organization of EduSpots’ relationships with trusts and foundations, and other major donors, including oversight of reporting, database management and wider communication, working closely with the CEO.
- Monitor and analyse philanthropic trends and best practices to enhance fundraising effectiveness.

- Depending on experience and time availability, manage and mentor a team of fundraising professionals to achieve targets and organisational objectives. Role Summary
The Programme Manager Speke role is responsible for managing the day-to-day delivery of the Discovery project for Speke, Liverpool. You will be working closely with a number of public sector, education sector and third sector agencies serving low-income communities. About the Organisation
The Grenfell Education Hub will open later this year to serve those most affected by the Grenfell Tower tragedy. The hub will provide educational support to children and young people, their families, and local schools.
Following a consultation process in 2023 and 2024, the hub will bring together a team of professionals, including four specialist teachers, an Educational Psychologist, a Speech and Language Therapist, an Occupational Therapist, a Careers Coordinator, and a Family Support Worker. Their time will be split between direct work with children and families in the hub and supporting local schools. The hub’s objectives are to:
- Provide high-quality educational support to as many children and young people as possible.
- Build the skills and confidence of children, families, and education staff in local schools.
- Develop strong relationships with those most affected by the Grenfell Tower fire.
- Accurately assess its impact.

The Director has overall responsibility for the impact, reach and quality of BMA’s activities,
delivering against our vision and mission, as agreed with the Board of Trustees. The Director
plays a key role in shaping strategy, driving innovation and collaboration, while ensuring the
organisation is efficient and effective in achieving its goals.
Brent Music Academy (BMA) is an exciting new charitable organisation providing accelerated
music, performance and industry opportunities coupled with pastoral and financial support to
eliminate barriers to the music industry for young people from diverse backgrounds in the
London borough of Brent and surrounding areas.
This position involves working with children and young people. The appointment will therefore
be subject to an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
Leadership & management

Provide strategic leadership to the organisation and deliver against goals as agreed with the Board of Trustees

Lead long term financial and strategic planning in response to ongoing dialogue with stakeholders, market research and a changing public and private sector funding climate

Lead, empower, inspire and develop BMA staff, promoting new and creative thinking which supports BMA in achieving its mission

Oversee staff recruitment and performance management, acting as a line manager to the Head of Learning Pathways, Programme Manager and Head of Fundraising, ensuring the implementation and monitoring of induction, professional development and succession planning

Oversee the development, review and monitoring of BMA’s budgets, finance and administration, maintaining clear financial management controls

Ensure all relevant policies are maintained, up to date, approved by the Board of Trustees and consistently applied

Act as Designated Safeguarding Lead and line manage staff in their safeguarding responsibilities

Embed a quality and improvement culture, combining clear management information with an effective professional development model.
Development, fundraising and promotion

Evolve a sustainable business model for BMA that draws on a range of income sources from a mixed portfolio of services

Work closely with members of the staff to:

Attract resources and investment through partnerships, fundraising and advocacy

Communicate clear brand identity and sense of community amongst those who support, work, learn or participate with BMA

Ensure that funders and other key stakeholders are kept informed and that reporting requirements are met

Maintain and develop effective relationships and networks with peers, partners and key stakeholders
Working with the Board of Trustees

Prepare and communicate strategic plans, business plan, fundraising plan, annual operational plan and budget for Board approval

Provide appropriate presentations and reporting on progress against plans and matters relevant to the discharge of the Board’s constitutional and legal obligations

Assist the Board in identifying and developing Trustees in line with established codes of good practice
