You will have robust Financial Management skills, experienced in overseeing financial operations within an SME organisation, balancing financial operations with a strategic outlook and the leadership skills to manage, inspire and influence your team and colleagues, promoting a culture of excellence and accountability. We help individuals with mental health problems to find paid employment or return to their current role after a period of ill health. Your challenge? To do everything you can to help the individuals we work with to source appropriate work experience placements with local organisations/employers. Day to day, you’ll offer support, careers advice and guidance, helping people to set their own recovery and employment-focused goals and provide training in personal and skills development such as CV preparation, interview techniques etc. You’ll also be responsible for establishing and maintaining positive links with community mental health teams (CMHRS), Early Intervention Into Psychosis (EIIP) Teams, partner organisations, local employers and other relevant agencies and have the initiative to develop and promote the service. Additionally, you will have responsibility for maintaining efficient admin systems to ensure referrals, assessments and reviews are completed in a timely manner.

FearFree delivers services across the Southwest for victims, children and perpetrators of domestic abuse and victims of sexual violence. We provide responsive, victim focused, and trauma informed support and this post will be fundamental to ensuring service users, stakeholders and partners experience this in our daily delivery.
This role is part of the commissioned Gloucestershire Positive Relationships (PRG) Service. The role can involve the delivery of evening group work once a week in Gloucestershire (4 hours per week) and the provision of 1-2-1 support for people not suitable or not yet suitable for the accredited programme. 1-2-1 support will be culturally flexible, appropriate, accessible and equitable to people of all ages, genders, ethnicities, abilities and sexual orientations.
This role will also include responsibilities of service promotion, awareness raising, triage, assessments and outreach 1-2-1 support across the county within the different districts.
The post holder will play a key part in developing and delivering an effective model of 1-2-1 interventions to assist people to change their behaviour, in addition to the delivery of a Respect accredited, structured abuse prevention programme delivered with a co-worker.
There may be additional opportunities for sessional programme delivery of other programmes.
The role will also include working with other agencies to ensure that a coordinated community response approach is taken to support the persons recovery and personal goals and attendance at multi agency meetings as required.

Client Based Duties
- Identify and assess the risks and needs of individuals who are abusive in a relationship or other domestic setting, using an evidence-based risk identification checklist e.g. Respect RIC.
- Advocate for individuals who need to address their abusive behaviour.
- Take part in casework meetings with other workers and share information with the Partner Safety Worker/affected Others Worker for men on the structured programme.
- Co-facilitate an accredited group programme one evening a week.
- Where possible, cover holiday/sickness absence of other group facilitators.
- To implement actions agreed in casework discussions.
- Understand the role of all relevant statutory and non-statutory services available to those who are abusive and how your role fits into them.
- Liaise closely with and refer on to other organisations that support victims for the partners of those receiving 1-2-1 support.
- Support the client to recognise their abusive behaviour and the effect that it has on others/their families and assist them in recognising the features and dynamics of domestic abuse present in their situation, and help them change unhealthy patterns of behaviour.
- Understand multi-agency partnership structures and work within a multi-agency setting which may include participation at the MARAC/MAPPA. You will contribute interventions and help design a plan to protect victims and affected others, whilst maintaining an independent role on behalf of your client, keeping the safety of those affected at the forefront of all actions.
- Ensure support provided is accessible to clients in terms of location and times.
- Be proactive with your line manager in carrying out regular case reviews based on a review of risk and abuse which:
- Feeds back into action planning to further progress, signpost or close cases and;
- Provides feedback to your clients/agencies.
- Maintain accurate and confidential case management records and safety plans and contribute to monitoring information for the service.
- Respect and value the diversity of the community in which the services works in, and recognise the needs and concerns of a diverse range of people ensuring the service is accessible.

Join Operation Smile UK as our Senior Acquisition Manager and make a difference in the lives of children. We're searching for a fundraising professional with experience in acquiring new donors through a variety of fundraising channels including Door to Door (F2F), digital fundraising, DRTV, cold mailing and door drops. You'll be responsible for managing a £2.4 million budget and developing innovative strategies to increase individual cash and regular giving support. This role is not responsible for the supervision or direction of staff.
Operation Smile is a global nonprofit specialising in cleft surgery and care. We provide medical training, education and mentorship to surgical teams around the world, along with expertise, research and care through our staff and volunteers, working alongside local governments, nonprofits and health systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and drive recruitment of regular givers and cash givers to grow income and supporter volumes, in a multi-channel programme including Door to Door (F2F), digital fundraising channels, DRTV, cold mailing and door drops.
- Manage relationships with agency partners executing acquisition campaigns on behalf of Operation Smile UK for the betterment of the acquisition programme.

Our client is an independent, Lambeth-based, grant-making foundation and charity with roots from the early 17th century. The role requires contact with applicants (initially via email and telephone) and will involve monitoring & evaluation, project development and administration process management, in addition to contributing ideas towards planning new initiatives and keeping abreast of trends and issues facing the voluntary sector, both nationally and in the Lambeth area.

The post holder will also undertake assessments in relation to grants to organisations, and other grant-making duties and functions as required by the Head of Grants. The post will sit alongside an existing team of three who also undertake multiple roles to ensure the foundation's grant-making is consistent, focussed and effective.
The person:
This person will have a high level of intellectual and analytical ability, this could be evidenced by having studied to degree level, a professional qualification of some kind or having worked at a comparable level of complexity in a professional office-based environment. They will have a solid understanding of the issues facing young people (18 to 30) from low-income backgrounds and will have the ability to present clear written assessment reports, making recommendations and decisions and the ability to think strategically as well as practically, to ensure the foundation is living its values. They will have excellent attention to detail and will be an effective time manager. Ideally, this person will have experience of Salesforce database or similar and possibly have a local knowledge of Lambeth and the surrounding areas.
IT competent, numerate, and highly organised, this person will have experience of grant-making or at least an understanding of its principles, hopefully a knowledge of the welfare and benefits framework and will be fully appreciative of the issues raised in a multi-cultural setting and an understanding of and a commitment to, issues of diversity and equality. Migrant Democracy Project (MDP) envisions a society where all migrants at home in the UK hold collective, political power to shape a society rooted in justice, freedom, and solidarity.
We are looking for a full-time Community Organiser to organise first-generation migrants in the UK towards migrant justice by supporting community members to organise events and participate in campaign activities. The work will connect across 3 streams: voter registration; advocacy & campaigns; and political empowerment.
Whether it’s engaging migrants at a voter registration stall, supporting migrant leaders to develop activities in their own communities, or sharing stories for the campaign for votes for all - the lived experience of first generation migrants is at the heart of all our activities.
We are looking for a proactive Community Organiser who is passionate about migrants’ rights and democracy to start working as soon as possible.
Who funds the role?
The role is funded by a grant from the Esmee Fairbairn Foundation.
Contract
This is a fixed term contract, 2 years (with the possibility of extension depending on future grants). Benefits include:
