Job Title: Rural Programme Coordinator – based in Liberia & Sierra Leone

Role Purpose:
- Oversee Street Child’s rolling school construction programme in Liberia and Sierra Leone.
- Support in-school, community engagement, and economic empowerment activities.
- Work closely with local partners to manage the construction of 50-100 primary and secondary schools annually.
- Frequent travel to rural communities to monitor projects and gather updates for internal and donor reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Reporting & Programme Funding Engagement – 30%
- Review narrative and financial quarterly reports from country teams and provide feedback.
- Lead the consolidation of narrative reports for various donors.
- Ensure regular information flow to communications and fundraising teams.
- Support income-generation efforts, including drafting funding proposals and donor visits.
2. Programme Management – 35%
- Collaborate with national partners, Government, and community stakeholders to identify and assess school construction needs.
- Ensure quality and timely implementation of school construction programming.
- Develop systems to track progress against key milestones and address challenges.
- Train and guide partner staff to ensure the effective use of programme documents and tools.
- Monitor safeguarding policies and support feedback loops with partners and participants.
3. Finance & Procurement – 20%
- Oversee the procurement process, ensuring value for money in selecting contractors.
- Work with finance colleagues to compile financial reporting for programme donors.
- Support teams in compiling requisitions in line with programme forecasts and budgets.
- Coordinate the tracking of donor and match funding requirements.
4. Other – 15%
- Provide surge support across Street Child’s programme portfolio.
- Coordinate staff, stakeholders, and donor visits.
- Represent Street Child appropriately both internally and externally.
- Carry out other reasonable requests within the broad remit of the role.
Person Specification:
Experience and Knowledge:
- Relevant field experience in development programming with local partnership respect.
- Successful delivery of team objectives through collaboration.
- Experience with data collection, cleaning, and analysis.
- Experience working in education, community engagement, and livelihoods programming.
- Strong knowledge of the Liberia and/or Sierra Leone context.
- Experience with donor reporting and budget management.
- German Language skills (preferred but not essential).

Based in the Paediatric Ophthalmology Department at Sheffield Children’s Hospital, you will work closely with Ophthalmologists and clinical staff as a vital part of the team. You’ll work 4 days per week in the hospital, supporting the Paediatric Ophthalmology Clinics from 9am to 5pm, with the flexibility to work from home for 1 day per week.
Within this role you will:

This is a newly created role which is being introduced to support the centralisation and future growth of the Marlow Education Trust . This hands-on role will be responsible for preparation of monthly management accounts, ensuring all transactions and month-end processes are carried out, preparation of balance sheet, capital projects and fixed assets reconciliations , line management of finance officers and assistants, as well as oversight of accounts payable, accounts receivable and VAT returns. Main Responsibilities

Produce draft monthly and annual financial statements, including payroll and balance sheets reconciliations, income and expenditure, and cash flow statements

Undertake payroll preparation including staff cost allocation on a monthly basis

The Head of Business Development works closely with the CEO and has responsibility for all aspects of the development of BLCF’s business interests including long-term income growth, philanthropy, partnerships, communication and new business initiatives. They will nurture and grow the Foundation’s long-term growth income, secure funding for new initiatives and develop and deliver our CSR and social value work, extending the reach of our services to increase our revenue through the excellent communication of our business and strategic aims. Their duties will include identifying leads, pitching companies, NFP, government offices and local authorities, building and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing businesses and suppliers, whilst responsible for the overall strategic management and programme development of a portfolio of partnerships. They operate as part of the Senior Leadership Team (incl CEO and Head of Impact) they will contribute to strategic development and delivery of the foundations Strategic Plan, vision, and values.
Responsibilities
Work with the CEO and Head of Impact to develop plans and strategies to ensure quality services are delivered that meet organisational objectives and charitable articles to the highest standards.
As part of the Senior Leadership team, work with, advise, contribute, and respond to the CEO and Head of Impact and the partnership they create to ensure they are deliverable and adequately resourced and costed and deliverable.
Work with the CEO to set and implement Strategic Plan Delivery Plan targets and objectives and budgets to deliver them. Ensuring information is cascaded to all staff in their area and that staff connect to the Strategic Plan though their own workplans.
Core Role Delivery

Experience

What the role involves?
- Taking responsibility for agreed learning activities under an agreed system of supervision.

About the role
The Director of Business Development and Partnerships (DBDP) leads work at the interface between EngineeringUK and the engineering and technology sector that we represent and serve. As a member of the Executive Team, the DBDP brings critical insight of the corporate world and ensures that our engagement activities are relevant to them, represent their breadth and that our research, analysis and policy work draws on current and real-world experience. The Director leads a team that maintains established relationships with businesses, PEIs and funders and builds new relationships, encouraging organisations to support our work through funding, the provision of content and holistic partnership opportunities.

Corporate relationships. Responsible for account managing existing relationships with members, sponsors and funders including supporting STEM strategy development, organising peer-learning opportunities, upgrading membership/funding levels, networking them across EngineeringUK, and deepening engagement across multiple activities.
Trusts and foundations. Managing existing high-value partnerships with funders who support our programmes, engaging new funders to scale our work, working with other teams to develop compelling proposals and raise EngineeringUK’s profile in the grant-making space.
Professional institutions and partnerships. Coordinate engagement with PEIs across EngineeringUK, ensuring a consistent approach and maximising joint value from our partnership. Securing new partnerships (and then managing, renewing and cross-selling the relationship) with SME clusters.
Reporting to the Chief Executive, and as part of the Executive Team, the DBDP is expected to understand the governance requirements of charities and companies and work with the Board of EngineeringUK to support decision making.
The role is London based at our office at 10 Lower Thames Street, London EC3R 6EN and may involve some travel in the UK . Our ideal candidate will support the delivery of the Club Development programme for TeamUCL and provide support and guidance for student leaders, enabling them to run their clubs effectively. The right candidate will also support with the delivery of the TeamUCL communications strategy. The successful role holder will proactively assist sports clubs in developing sports participation opportunities and performance pathways for identified target groups through development planning.
This is a full time and permanent role. This role is also a hybrid working role, where 40% of the role will be based on campus.

Learning with Parents supports all families to have positive learning interactions together and leads the sector to learn what works in tackling inequality.
In partnership with over 160 primary schools, we support families across the UK to enjoy learning together at home. Families are motivated to sustain and enjoy frequent and positive interactions at home.
Our parental engagement journey with schools starts by focussing on reading. Our digital reading log is an inclusive way for schools and families to record reading, replacing physical reading records.
Our full Maths and English programme builds on the positive habits fostered by our reading log. It replaces traditional Maths and English homework with fun activities which have parent-child interaction at their heart. Through behavioural insight research, innovative technology and teacher training we ensure that as many families as possible are supported effectively.
We are working to improve parental engagement across the sector, by producing evidence of parents’ impact and generating insights into how schools can best support them. Learnings are disseminated through the Parental Engagement Forum and amplified through the Fair Education Alliance.

About the Role
Learning with Parents is recruiting for a School Partnership Manager to work closely with the Schools Team to develop partnerships with new schools and support them as they launch our programme. As School Partnership Manager, you will have a key role supporting schools through our Learning with Parents programme to ensure learning spans a meaningful partnership across schools and homes.
We are scaling the number of schools who use our Reading Log in September. To ensure the success of this exciting development, we are increasing the capacity of our Schools Team to engage with new schools and onboard them onto our programmes.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a mission-led charity driving meaningful change in the education system.
Areas of Responsibility
Relationship Management

Working closely with class teachers and school leaders to run successful programmes in partner schools

Building strong relationships with schools to develop multi-year partnerships ensuring more families are supported through our programmes.
Sales

Discussing and confirming annual renewal licences with schools

Work with schools to develop our partnership with them each for example increasing coverage over all classes or adding new programmes to their subscription.

About You
A successful School Partnership Manager will be eager to work in a small team, have a can-do attitude, and be keen to get stuck in to support the charity’s growth and impact.
