This exciting role is responsible for delivering income from a range of donors and prospects, with a focus on trusts and foundations, lottery and statutory sources, as well as HNWI. We are looking for an ambitious and strategic fundraiser with a proven track record of raising significant funds from charitable trusts and foundations, lottery and statutory sources as well as HNWI, who, alongside our existing team, will help to grow and develop this area of fundraising for the Macular Society. The Role
Building relationships with the fire and rescue services in your area, you’ll become an integral part of the local fire services community. You’ll join a nation-wide team of inspiring and innovative fundraisers, working collaboratively to secure the much-needed income for the Charity.

Helping to coordinate events, support fundraising initiatives and implement new ideas, you’ll support your people, stations, and offices to raise awareness of the Charity and achieve and exceed income targets, as well as working with local businesses and people to maximise our fundraising potential.

By generating the income we need to realise our ambitions, you will help us to be there for even more members of the fire and rescue community.

About You
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and innovative fundraiser to join our team, full of ideas and a positive attitude. You’ll need excellent business and project planning skills, as well as the ability to multi-task and adapt your communication style to your audience.

You’ll be responsible for maximising the potential fundraising income from every initiative you support, so you must be able to effectively engage with multiple stakeholders and build strong networks.

The White Rose Forest Development Manager is a new role that will be responsible for the development and delivery of a new fundraising function and strategy for the White Rose Forest, with support from the White Rose Forest Programme Director, the wider White Rose Forest team, partners and other stakeholders.

We are looking for a confident and experienced fundraiser who can draw on their previous record of success in a similar role to build relationships with a range of potential funders and secure the best opportunities to grow our non-Government project and unrestricted income. From setting up a charitable function for the White Rose Forest to developing our fundraising strategy, you will have the exciting opportunity to shape this new role. You will also be able to call on the expertise and experience within the Community Forest Trust and our England’s Community Forests network to support your work.

The Development Manager will be employed through the Community Forest Trust on behalf of the White Rose Forest and will work as part of the WRF core team. The post holder will have access to all systems available to the wider team, and training opportunities as required.

The Development Manager, as with all members of the central WRF team, will work from home without an office base. However, there is the requirement to attend monthly meetings in locations spread across North and West Yorkshire and at other times as required by the needs of the organisation. You well therefore require the ability to travel independently to such locations.

Animal welfare charities the Universities Federation for Animal Welfare (UFAW) and the Humane Slaughter Association (HSA) are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Fundraising & Membership Officer to strengthen the Fundraising and Communications team. The Community Fundraising Manager plays a key part in delivering our ambitious Charity strategy, linking the hospital charity, NHS staff members, and the local community. Responsibilities

• Collaborative Strategy Execution: Works closely with the UK Managing Director, incorporating programmatic priorities for developing key funding partnerships, to align and execute the trusts and foundations fundraising strategy.
• Strategic Growth & Income Diversification: Supports the development of and executes a growth strategy to increase trust and foundation income, leveraging both existing and new opportunities, including institutional fundraising and government funding where relevant.
• Prospecting & Pipeline Development: Proactively identifies, researches, and cultivates new trust and foundation prospects to expand the current portfolio and drive significant new revenue growth in alignment with fundraising targets.
• Relationship Management & Stewardship: Establishes, nurtures, and manages strong relationships with trust and foundation donors, ensuring tailored engagement, timely reporting, and strategic alignment with donor priorities to maximize long-term support.
• Proposal & Fund Development: Leads the development and submission of compelling funding proposals to generate revenue, while ensuring collaboration with the global proposal development enablement function for high-value (£100k+) opportunities. Edits concepts, proposals, pitch decks and stewardships materials. 
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Works closely with WBR’s global Development & Marcomm and proposal development team to source insights, data, and programmatic information that strengthen proposals and enhance donor engagement, ensuring UK efforts align with international fundraising strategies.

Minimum Education, Training and Experience Requirements

What is a Technical Business Analyst?

As a Technical Business Analyst, you will lead the analysis, design, prioritisation, and implementation of process and technical changes to enhance business operations and services. Your role involves identifying improvement opportunities, leveraging technology (including automation), defining costs and benefits, and establishing success metrics. You will manage DDaT-enabled process improvements.

Your objective is to enhance the client journey, from small pathway changes to large technical projects and process improvements. You’ll collaborate closely with Product Owners, Project Managers, Business Intelligence, IT, Digital teams, Governance, Contact Centre, Clinical colleagues, Clinical Safety, Learning & Development, Global Information Services, and other stakeholders, including board-level directors.

Key responsibilities:

Income Generation

• Drive online income generation through effective use of digital fundraising platforms, social media, and supporter journeys.
• Optimise and manage digital giving platforms, such as Funraisin, to increase donations and supporter engagement.
• Expand and enhance peer-to-peer fundraising, ensuring fundraisers have the tools and motivation to maximise income.

Digital & Social Media

• Increase digital reach and visibility, making sure fundraising messages are seen and acted upon.
• Leverage social media fundraising tools, such as Elovate (CommittedGiving), to improve donor retention and engagement.
• Use AI-powered tools to streamline prospect research, automate content personalisation, and optimise donor engagement.
• Develop and execute strategies to convert social media and website visitors into long-term donors.

Support & Collaboration

• Provide guidance and digital tools to e-volunteers and fundraising champions, enabling them to spread AvMA’s fundraising messages and attract donations.
• Analyse and report on digital fundraising performance, using insights to refine strategy and improve return on investment.
• Contribute to digital income diversification, exploring new revenue-generating opportunities such as online retail or supporter-driven fundraising products (e-commerce experience desirable).

The Green Exercise Project Officer will help people to connect with nature and each other while building levels of physical activity, supporting people to move away from a sedentary lifestyle and live a good life. We seek to deliver long-term programmes delivered across local green spaces, parks, riverside and coastline, to provide entry level accessible activity. They will be responsible for facilitating the implementation of the health and wellbeing projects and developing and delivering Green Exercise sessions with the aim of getting people active in the outdoors and building nature connection across South Tyneside and North Tyneside, increasing levels of physical activity and healthy lifestyle choices within the target communities.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering health and wellbeing sessions, particularly in an outdoor environment. With the experience of working within a community or environmental setting. They will also positively raise the awareness of Groundwork through engagement with a variety of partners and clients such as local residents, community groups, voluntary organisations and private companies.
