We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Direct Marketing and Fundraising Officer to join our Public Fundraising team. This role is integral to the smooth operation of our fundraising activities, particularly during appeals, where your coordination skills will be crucial.
Key Responsibilities:
Appeal Coordination:
- Assist the Direct Marketing Manager - Acquisition in keeping member agency fundraising directors and key suppliers up to date in the run-up to and during appeals.
- Update the fundraising and marketing team budget tracker, ensuring accurate financial tracking throughout the appeal process.
- Support the setup and management of Appeal Toolkits and Appeal Hubs, providing essential assets to staff, member agencies, and suppliers.

OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE
This exciting role will support on the delivery of income from a range of high-value donors within our philanthropy and corporate income streams. This position is key for both Helen Bamber Foundation and Asylum Aid and the postholder will work closely with the teams’ senior leadership, enabling the Head of Fundraising and Communications and the Executive Director to build successful funding partnerships.

Main duties of the job
The Events Fundraiser will work closely with the rest of the Charity Fundraising Team to deliver the charity's Fundraising Plan.
The successful candidate will be responsible for recruiting, managing and supporting participants for challenge events. They will also plan and deliver a range of other events for the charity including an online auction, stewardship events for supporters and opening events for charitably funded projects across the Trust.
With event management experience, either in a charity setting or a comparable role, the successful candidate will be highly organised, used to multi-tasking and meeting deadlines. The Role
An exciting new role has arisen, where we are seeking a pro-active, solutions-focused, team player for the role of Development Officer (Operations) for our Development department. As Development Officer (Operations), you will lead the implementation of LAMDA's new fundraising database system of Raiser’s Edge, including data migration, system optimisation, and creation of comprehensive documentation.
Working closely with the Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and developing the CRM, to support fundraising and alumni relations efforts, while ensuring compliance with data protection laws and establishing best practices for system usage.
The successful candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, excellent attention to detail, with a good understanding of CRM systems and fundraising processes. You will also have experience in financial processing, have keen database management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
