About the Bid Manager and Write Role: 

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Bid Manager and Writer to join our dynamic Bid Team within the Development, Marketing, and Communications Department. This role is critical to driving our growth, securing new opportunities, and retaining existing contracts.

In this hands on role, you will hit the ground running, using your previous experience and knowledge to gather information and will utilise this to write competitive bids and proposals which can help secure new opportunities for the growth of our charity. SIG is a complex, growing organisation, supporting those with various complex needs in residential and non residential settings. Our Business Development team are vital in securing new and existing contracts to grow the services that we can offer to our residents and participants.

You will lead on competitive tendering processes, crafting high-quality bids and proposals that align with our mission and values. You will take ownership of the end-to-end bid process, from market engagement to submission, ensuring compliance and quality at every stage. You will work closely with senior directors, commissioners, and internal stakeholders to develop compelling submissions that meet financial targets and organisational goals. You will work independently but also part of the wider bid team, collaborating with subject matter experts as required. 

Overview of key responsibilities:

• Lead on the development and submission of competitive bids, ensuring they are delivered on time and to the highest standard.
• Collaborate with senior directors and internal teams to secure approvals and budgets for bids.
• Produce high-quality, engaging proposals that clearly articulate SIG’s vision, services, and value to commissioners and funders.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including senior leaders and commissioners.
• Conduct market research and stay informed about trends in social care, healthcare, and procurement to inform bid strategies.
• Work closely with the Bid Coordinator to draft, review, and finalise submissions.
• Attend market engagement events, service visits, and approval meetings to gain insights and represent SIG.  

What are we looking for?

• Proven experience in bid and proposal writing and management, with a track record of securing new contracts and retaining existing ones.
• Exceptional writing and proofreading skills
• A keen eye for attention to detail
• Ability to produce high-quality, engaging content.
• Ideally, we would love someone who has experience within securing bids and proposals within the voluntary, social care, or healthcare sector.
• A good understanding of social care, healthcare, or procurement, with the ability to translate complex needs into compelling bids.
• Confidence in liaising with senior stakeholders, including directors and commissioners, and leading approval meetings.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience using tender portals.
• A self-motivated, proactive individual who can take ownership of bids and drive them to successful completion.

The Role

The purpose of the Communication and Events Officer role is to:

• Communicate National Voices’ all relevant organisational output to members, decision makers, external influencers and media, including policy, improvement, lived experience and insight work.
• Assist the organisation to plan, develop and deliver content and logistics for our operations teams’ internal event commitments, including supporting on the Annual General Meeting, board events and staff team days etc.
• Work with voluntary sector organisations and people with the greatest health and care needs to develop National Voices’ communications positions and deliver against funded project work

The role will be a mix of communications and internal events work, with 75% of the role focused on communications.

Responsibilities

Deliver on our communications work

· Develop engaging content that conveys National Voices messages to members, external stakeholders, and media (including managing the day to day running of social media platforms) to maximise the reach and impact of the organisation’s policy messages and funded project work

· Support the Policy and Communications Manager with media relations activity by drafting media statements, liaising with journalists and other media activity as required

· Create National Voices’ membership content, including member newsletters and member blogs

· Oversee and manage process of external design of National Voices reports with designer

· Manage the comms and events calendar and work with internal and external team to schedule project releases and other events

· Support the maintenance of National Voices’ website, keeping the site up to date and coordinating input and content from National Voices staff and members.

· Coordinate the production of key publications, from liaising with partner organisations to overseeing design and production

· Communications administrative tasks including developing and maintaining press list, tracking press coverage and social media analytics data

· Support operation team’s internal comms around job postings, organisational policy changes, and office announcement.

Support the operations team internal events programme

· Work across the organisation to support our internal events programme including leading on some events. This includes support on logistics like venue booking, arranging catering and providing technical support.  

· Support the creation and development of materials for events and presentations.

· Support in the organisation of our Annual General Meeting and board events where needed.

· Work with the team to lead on staff social events.

Our approach to hybrid working

We recognise the importance of coming together regularly, in-person, as a team, so we can share learnings and spend social time with each other. We also recognise that people need flexibility, and that homeworking enables focused work and can fit well in people’s lives.

We ask all staff to take part in pre-arranged team meetings which take place every six weeks in our office space. We also might ask you to meet in-person with members of your team from time to time, or to be available for face-to-face meetings with clients and partners where this enhances the work.

We assume that this would usually not amount to more than one day per fortnight for people who work full time.

About the role

As one of two Regional Programmes Manager, you’ll inspire and lead a team of Senior Programmes Officers and Kinship Family Workers to effectively deliver high quality support services for kinship families across Greater London, the South of England and the Midlands.

You’ll do this by working in close collaboration with local authority teams who have commissioned our services and other funders where appropriate.

You’ll have accountability and ownership for ensuring we deliver impactful services for kinship carers and that we meet targets for our commissioned services. Working collaboratively with our other managers in other services, you’ll ensure we’re delivering high impact programmes.

You’ll ensure your team have real clarity and direction on their role and responsibilities - encouraging curiosity, learning and solutions-focused thinking. As a leader in the organisation, you are a key model for the team.

Your team will deliver the following programmes:

• Kinship Connected – in-person one-to-one support and support groups in the community
• Kinship Reach – remote one-to-one support and virtual support groups
• Kinship Ready – online workshops to prepare new and prospective special guardians for their role, as well as wraparound one-to-one support (in one local authority)

You will also manage a new role of Grants Officer - London, funded by the Aviva Foundation.

As one of our deputy safeguarding leads, you’ll be part of our key safeguarding structure.  This means you’ll take ownership to make sure our people feel confident and well supported to demonstrate best practice and making sure safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility.

Key responsibilities include:

• Oversee the day-to-day running of programmes, supporting mostly home-based Senior Programmes Workers and Kinship Family Workers to ensure high quality, consistent and impactful programme delivery.

Essential requirements include:

• Substantial experience in managing a regional service or programme with high quality outputs (national experience desirable but not essential).
• Substantial experience of managing, developing and evaluating effective and innovative services for families experiencing crisis and experience in reaching ‘hidden communities’ and a commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion.
• Experience of leading and managing continuous improvement in changing contexts.
• Experience of governance and managing risk on high profile service delivery.
• Experience of ensuring that services are designed and led with user needs at the heart, ensuring that the voices of our kinship carers inform ongoing design and development of our programmes.
• High quality digital and data literacy and using technology to help us to be better in our processes. You’ll have to own Salesforce and be a massive champion for the team. You will be accountable for ensuring they use it well.
• Substantial experience of leading high-performing service teams including managing wellbeing, development and performance.

We are looking for an exceptional Grants Commissioning Manager (Scotland), with a focus on Faslane. This is a senior management role working as part of the Grants team within the RNRMC at a time when the Charity’s strategy has a real focus on beneficiary need and impact, managing RNRMC commissioned grants in Scotland, ensuring that the funds are awarded in accordance with the Charities Values and Outcomes Framework.    

The role will work strategically with The Director of Relationships and Funding to support and deliver the charities funding plans for Scotland and support the Head of Commissioned Grants with all elements of the commissioning cycle including understanding need, designing projects, performance management of delivery and reporting of impact.  Working with internal and external stakeholders, the role will involve the oversight and good governance of grants programmes to ensure quality, evidenced outputs, and value for money of projects.      

In addition, you will lead and manage the Grants Administrator (Scotland, taking responsibility for actively and proactively supporting them to achieve in their post.

Purpose of the Job 

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a clinical lead working within our Mental Health Support Teams and wider Children and Young People’s Services. As an integral part of our services, you will ensure the high-quality delivery of mental health interventions for children and young people. You will provide  clinical supervision and support to a multi-disciplinary team, ensuring adherence to evidence-based practice and national guidelines. This role involves overseeing the delivery of low-intensity and early intervention mental health support within schools and the community for children and young people between the ages of 5-18 (for young people with SEND under 25). In addition, you will ensure professional development and clinical governance.

• Providing case management and clinical supervision (1:1 and group) and some line management
• Supporting the team to write sensitive and appropriate reports concerning the assessment, formulation and treatment plans of children and young people
• Carrying out clinical case file audits to ensure high quality practice and to support practitioners and trainees
• Ensuring that practitioners and trainees work within their scope of practice and adhere to professional standards

Essential

• Significant experience (minimum of 5 years) in child and adolescent mental health, including direct work with children and families with complex needs

Main duties of the job
This is a rare opportunity to make a tangible impact by securing philanthropic support to enhance patient care and staff wellbeing. Main duties of this role include: 

• Develop and implement a charity strategy for OHC and other relevant supporting strategies in collaboration with the Board 
• With the Executive Director of Corporate Affairs, provide vision and leadership for the charity setting the overall vision and strategic direction, ensuring alignment with its mission and values
• Take ownership and lead on major gifts fundraising including solicitation and stewardship plans to establish a portfolio of major donors and prospects to include High Net Worth Individuals, Trusts & Foundations and corporates. A specific focus is on securing donations in excess of £5,000 from major donors by initiating, promoting legacy giving and developing long term relationships between supporters, prospective supporters and Oxford Health Trust/Charity
• Ensure appropriate governance is in place for reporting to the Charity Committee and the Charity Board on the charity’s activities.
• Lead, manage and support the Charity Team, empowering them to develop and deliver to the highest level.
• Developing and implementing volunteer roles across the organisation in line with the Volunteer Strategy and organisational strategy and ensuring that appropriate systems and processes are in place for the management of volunteers.

Role Context and purpose

Following recent and projected growth of the organisation, Gaddum is looking to recruit additional resource within the Central team to bolster support; ensuring delivery of safe and high-quality services. Gaddum acts as an administrator for smaller trusts and charities, who do not have internal finance teams, and this role will act as the key point of contact for those trusts in delivering financial support. In addition to this, Gaddum also redistributes grant funding – this role is to act as the Finance lead for the financial management of the funding.

The post holder, line managed by the Finance and Resources Director, will join the finance team and work alongside another Finance Assistant responsible for Accounts Payable and Receivable. This is a 28 hours per week role, working flexibly to suit the needs of the organisation and individual.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Trust Funds
• Key point of contact for trusts
• Administration of trust fund applications against agreed policies between Gaddum and the associated trusts
• Coordination and administration of trust meetings on behalf of the organisation and trusts
• Maintaining accurate, timely and relevant written and financial records, pertaining to the administration of the trust funds
• Respond to enquiries and requests by phone, email and in person as required
• To assist with collating and inputting of data, e.g. accounts for reporting periods
• To liaise with referring organisations, referrers and beneficiaries where necessary during the day-to-day administration of trust funds

Grant Funding
• Working with the existing Grant Coordinator in ensuring the regular invoicing of grant funding
• Accurate and timely processing and payment of this funding to organisations within the region
• Maintaining accurate financial information for statutory reporting
• Finance contact for all grant related enquiries

Other Duties and Responsibilities

• To support the Finance Assistant (Accounts Payable & Receivable) in periods of absence
• To meet regularly with Finance & Resources Director for supervisions
• Undertake additional duties within competence of post holds as required by the Finance & Resources Director
• Flexible approach to working patterns and in-office working days

Key relationships

Internally, the Head of Region works closely with the Director of Operations and other Heads of Region to support consistent operational delivery, and management and development of regional staff. The role also interacts closely with all other CCT teams including Conservation, Fundraising & Communication, Initiatives & Partnerships, and Finance.

Externally, the Head of Region is CCT’s regional representative, brokering joint working and engagement with statutory and Church of England stakeholders, funders, politicians at all levels, volunteers, communities and donors.

Key Responsibilites

Job Title: Billing Coordinator

About the role

The post is part of the Billing Project, an initiative by the London Legal Support Trust, funded by The Legal Education Foundation, aimed at providing specialist support to the free advice sector in London. The project focuses on improving legal aid billing practices to reduce the backlog of unbilled files, enhance cashflow, and maximise income from legal work under legal aid.

This is the fourth iteration of the project, building on the success of pilots launched in 2017.

This project is a collaborative effort between advice agencies. The Billing Coordinator(s) will be employed by the lead organisation and work across other host organisations, with the allocation of time between these organisations to be determined and agreed upon. The Billing Coordinator(s) will also collaborate with other billing professionals in the sector, some of whom have participated in previous pilot projects. Peer-to-peer support will be available to the postholder, and specialist training will be provided to anyone looking to grow within the role.

The purpose of the role is to develop systems that improve the efficiency of costing and billing legal aid files, and to provide a crucial coordination role within the organisations, supporting existing staff in ensuring files are billed promptly and accurately while maximising income from legal aid.

The Stained Glass Museum is a vibrant and unique independent accredited museum and registered charity (no. 1169842). The museum operates a permanent public exhibition in a gallery on an upper level of Ely Cathedral which is visited by around 25,000 people per year. The Finance Officer is responsible for maintaining The Stained Glass Museum’s financial accounts. Phyllis Tuckwell is looking for an experienced Head of Philanthropy and Partnerships to lead the newly formed Philanthropy Team. This role will lead on the recruitment and management of major donors as well as leading a team that also has responsibility for trusts, foundations and corporate fundraising. 

We are currently nearing the end of our Your New Hospice capital appeal and are looking for someone to take our high value giving into this exciting new phase. This role will be responsible for building a strategy and direction for the team, building a portfolio of major donors, and creating and optimising business processes. This role will also be a part of the Income Generation Leadership team and so will be expected to contribute to a collaborative and supportive team environment that values cross team working and fluid supporter journeys. 

The successful candidate will:

• Have significant experience of securing and cultivating five figure donations from high net worth donors. 
• Have experience in working in one of either trusts, foundations or corporate fundraising.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Financial Management: Oversee daily operations of the finance function, ensuring accurate month-end processes, preparation of management accounts, maintenance of the Xero accounting system, and strong financial controls and procedures. 

• Team Leadership and Oversight: Manage and support the Business Administration and Finance Officer, reviewing reconciliations and ensuring effective financial operations, including accounts payable/receivable, cash flow, and corporate cards. 

• Forecasting and Budgeting: Lead monthly and quarterly financial forecasting and support the Director of Finance and Operations in developing and monitoring the annual budget.

• Compliance and Governance: Prepare statutory returns for the Charity Commission and Companies House, ensuring compliance with all financial and legal reporting requirements.

Essential Experience, Knowledge and Competencies: 

• Prior experience of working in a similar role (min 2 years) 

• Accounting qualification (e.g.  AAT Level 3 or above, ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or Qualified by Experience 

• Experience with IT systems – Office365, Shared drives 

• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, including the ability to present financial reports and information effectively to a wide variety of audiences.
