FSC’s team of Safeguarding Advisors bring context-specific knowledge and expertise to ensure our work reflects the specific opportunities and challenges in embedding safeguarding across distinct legal, social and cultural contexts.

UK funders represent a significant proportion of overall FSC membership, and the number of members is likely to grow in the future. In order to meet the needs of UK members, it is essential that the resources and technical support provided by FSC, reflects the specific legal and regulatory requirements across the four home nations.

Reporting to the Technical Director, the Safeguarding Advisor – UK will play a key role in developing and delivering FSC’s strategy in the UK. In addition to developing and delivering technical support and training, the Regional Advisor will be responsible for identifying and implementing new ways to raise awareness and improve safeguarding practice among funders in the UK.

As a Money and Debt Coach (Omni-Channel: Telephone & Video), your primary role will be
to provide financial coaching and ensure that over-indebted clients receive tailored debt
advice through various channels, including telephone, WhatsApp, and our network of video
advice kiosks located in prisons, hospitals, job centres, town halls, and other community
settings

Scope of role

1. Providing tailored financial advice and support.
2. To maintain detailed case records.
3. Keep up to date with legislation, policies and procedures and undertake appropriate training.

Key Responsibilities

1. Accurate, effective and individually tailored advice
2. Deliver financial capability workshops at various NHS sites, promoting financialresilience and wellbeing.
3. Provide money coaching advice through various channels including face-to-face, video, and telephone sessions.
4. Complete assessments which lead to appropriate referral to an in house debt adviser
5. Interviewing those that access the service using sensitive listening andquestioning skills to allow them to explain their problem(s) and empower them to

Detailed case records

1. Maintaining detailed case records, ensuring that all work meets all auditing and quality standards and the requirements of the funder.
2. Ensuring all case records and written up in a timely manner.
3. Monitor and report on client engagement and outcomes from advice sessions.
4. Familiarity with CRM systems and practices (Customer Relationship Management system).
5. Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions within the time limits, follow up to ensure resolution.

Up-to-date training

1. Completing a minimum of 16 hours of technical CPD accredited training orqualifying activity.

Key Details

JOB PROFILE
Reporting to the UK Head of Communications and Giving (HC&G), you will be at the forefront of demonstrating to the public how Afghanaid is changing lives in Afghanistan, and raise awareness of key issues communities we work with are facing. You will lead the development and delivery of the organisation’s media and PR strategy, building out Afghanaid’s capacity to pitch stories, field opportunities, cultivate a strong network of journalists and high profile supporters, and ultimately secure coverage and opportunities that drive the success of the organisation’s campaigns and heighten Afghanaid’s credibility and profile.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Media and Public Relations

• Design and action an annual Media and PR strategy based on wider team and organisational goals;
• Conceptualise and deliver strategic earned media campaigns, supporting the HC&G to execute and maximise the success of multi-channel campaign development and execution;
• Proactively identify, pitch and advocate for compelling stories, strategically engaging with journalists to expand message reach and ensure brand integrity;
• Field inbound media inquiries, liaising with journalists and colleagues to maximise opportunities;
• Craft and distribute timely press releases, comments, and statements;

About The Role

Working closely with our Chief Executive Officer, the Operations and Systems Manager would take a birds-eye view of our organisation to help us build a consistent, collaborative and centralised approach to how we work. You would hold responsibility for developing and embedding operational strategies, processes, policies, and systems that meet our needs and help to support staff wellbeing. This role includes a key focus on improving how we can better use and manage our digital infrastructure to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of internal processes and to improve our ability to engage and retain external audiences, enabling us to build our impact on a national scale. Key areas of responsibility are as follows:

Day-to-day operational management of the Charity, including:

• Resolving daily operational and administrative issues efficiently and effectively.
• Taking initiative to enhance or develop, implement and embed effective systems and working practices, drawing from personal knowledge and experience and external examples of best practice.
• Developing and refining our approach to hybrid working, ensuring systems and processes enable connection and creativity across the organisation. Title: Individual Giving Manager

Reporting to the Director of Fundraising and leading the Individual Giving Team, the post holder will work closely with colleagues across the fundraising team to create, test, monitor and evaluate campaigns working to and reporting on ambitious income and expenditure targets and ensuring that supporters have a positive experience of the charity. About this role

Main responsibilities

• Provide account management to existing and new corporate relationships, nurturing effective, lasting relationships that help community rail to deliver on its aims around community development, sustainable travel, and inclusion.

You will work alongside the Strategic Projects Manager to provide flexible and high-quality project management and administrative support to the Senior Management Team, working across THET’s programmatic, operations, policy, and advocacy work.

The Role

The project has recently been through the research and design phase and is now ready to implement a number of tests to address health inequities experienced by Stroke survivors following their stroke. The project exploration and design has taken a collaborative approach with our NHS colleagues, the Engagement Lead will continue with this approach.

Reporting to the Associate Director for the South West & Channel Islands, the Engagement Lead will:

· Lead and oversee the project tests, measuring the impact with an ability to adapt and flex as the project develops.

· Have responsibility for developing the project with a test and learn approach.

· Hold themselves and those involved to agreed timescales & actions.

· Have responsibility for management of the project budget.

· Lead the engagement work with the NHS & those affected by stroke

· Have line management responsibility for the project Engagement Officer

About You

The post holder will have experience/background in:
