Age UK are recruiting for Network Engagement & Support Managers to work closely with a regional allocation of local Age UK partners to:Establish strong relationships with local leaders in particular COs and Chairs and develop a comprehensive understanding of each allocated partner, their strategy, priorities, specialisms, and challenges acting as a sounding board for strategic development, planning and problem solving.
Facilitating effective connections and engagements that enable knowledge sharing and learning and specialist or peer support between partners, the national organisation, within regions and with outsourced support where appropriate.
To be a subject matter expert on allocated local partners, gathering intelligence and disseminating appropriately, advocating on behalf of the network by working collaboratively across the team and division to give an amplified voice to partners within the national organisation and governance.
This is a home-based role for UK based candidates only.
There is a requirement to travel to Network partners across the UK as and when required. This may include overnight stays.

Your role
We are seeking a Senior Fundraising Leader to secure funding from diverse sources to support our program and initiatives. The ideal candidate has senior-level fundraising experience at an NGO, organisation, or charity, a strong and established network of executive relationships in major foundations, and a proven track record of identifying and closing deals in the range of 1-5 million USD. Key Responsibilities

About the Role
The Open Government Partnership (OGP) Support Unit (SU) seeks an experienced accounting professional with proven track record in the non-profit sector to provide finance and accounting services to support the Finance team. We are looking for an individual with strong understanding of accounting principles, with excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail.
The consultant will assist with preparing and analyzing financial reports and ensuring that financial records are accurate and compliant with relevant regulations where OGP conducts business. This role involves various accounting tasks, including general ledger entries, account reconciliations, financial reporting, and assisting with audits. The Consultant will work closely with other finance team members to ensure that financial and accounting systems, controls, and standards are in place to support the organization's overall financial health.

Agreement and payment

Working in a hybrid way, you’ll be attached to either our Birmingham, London or Manchester office and will report to the Associate Director, Development. In line with our current ways of working, you’ll be expected to be in the office at least 1 day a month, in addition to team days and this may be reviewed by Ambition.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
To succeed in this role you'll have a good understanding of funding/proposal preparation processes and experience in securing funding opportunities in the range of £50k-£100k.
The successful candidate will demonstrate experience of successfully cultivating relationships with funders such as trust, foundations, local authorities, corporates and major donors.
Whilst experience of securing funding from research institutions and knowledge of England's education and charity sectors are desirable, it is not essential for applying to this role.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Donor Engagement UK, the Development Officer’s role is to provide back-end support to the UK fundraisers supporting the moves management process and smooth running of the virtual office, ensuring compliance with UK laws. The position will manage all elements of the virtual office, administration and reporting and support the team in managing portfolios of donors and prospects targeting mid-level and high net worth individuals, corporates and foundations.
Key Responsibilities
Administration
- Manages virtual offices and membership programme payment processing in collaboration with our data services team based in the US.

Founded in 2007, KHULA Education is an award-winning South African NGO working in partnership with rural schools and underserved communities in deep rural South Africa to ensure children and youth can access a quality education and economic opportunity.

About the Role
We are seeking to recruit a creative and ambitious Fundraising and Communications Officer.
As our reach and impact has increased significantly in recent years, so has our income, and this new role has been created in response to that demand. This is an exciting opportunity for a fundraiser who wants to widen, or consolidate, their knowledge and experience of fundraising, in an international context, as well as gain communications experience.
We are a very small team so the role will cover a breadth of funding streams, with a particular focus on Trusts and Foundations, High Value Donors, and Events, both special and community. It is therefore important that you have excellent writing and interpersonal skills, and solid experience of crafting successful funding applications. You will also need excellent planning and organisational skills.
The role can, to some extent, be shaped by the skills and experience of the successful candidate, but it is likely to include the following responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Steward, retain and grow the support of our existing donor portfolio: KHULA has an existing portfolio of donors including trusts, foundations, corporates, major donors, individual and regular givers, the majority of whom are based in the UK or South Africa. Alongside the Director of Fundraising and Communications, the post holder will be responsible for managing these relationships, including bespoke reporting for trusts and major donors and taking responsibility for their own portfolio of donors.
- Donor prospecting and new business: researching and generating new donor leads as well as acting on opportunities provided by our Board and others, converting prospects into supporters of our programmes.
- External communications: working alongside the Director of Fundraising and Communications, assisting in the creation of our quarterly e-newsletter and the Annual Report, managing our social media channels, in addition to other ad hoc external communications.

Experience of working in a smaller charity and team is beneficial as this is a very hands-on role, covering a wide range of responsibilities.
