We are looking for an experienced project manager, who can rely on their expertise while tailoring their approach to the context and reporting requirements of the Church in Wales.
You should be a self-starter – someone who can combine their creative and time-management skills to motivate and organise local church teams to embrace new initiatives, develop new, innovative projects, and see these through to completion. The ability to communicate well, both verbally and in writing, will be key to success.
You should have experience of reporting on project progress to diverse audiences. Reporting and accountability are key in this role; to support this, you will have direct access to meet with the bishop, as project sponsor. You will be expected to meet regularly – both individually, and together with other project managers across the province – with the nominated officer of the Representative Body, as funder.
You will have experience of working with finance colleagues to ensure that accurate and detailed income and expenditure records are being kept for the project and summarised as part of the regular project reporting.

This vital and substantive new role is to increase charitable income so BBG can deliver its charitable purpose and planned major development.
The Development Manager post has been created with support from The National Lottery Heritage Fund to increase fundraising skill and capacity and will be responsible for managing the day-to-day fundraising function. Key Responsibilities
• Achieve income and performance targets in accordance with BBG’s agreed Fundraising Strategy and business needs, as directed by the Development Director.
• Responsible for managing BBG’s development/fundraising function data, ensuring the highest quality and accuracy of data and information on BBG’s new Spektrix CRM system in compliance with wider BBG requirements and the Data Protection Act.
• Raise funding from trusts, grants, and sponsors and support campaigns for fundraising from individuals, especially major donors, to meet the targets of the Major project, as agreed.
• Work with Horticultural, Commercial and learning/Engagement teams, and other staff to determine projects and outcomes, maximising opportunities for raising funds to support core functions as well as projects, once the capital is secured.
• Manage and oversee funding contracts with trusts, grant givers etc, including payment schedules, reporting, and monitoring compliance with any conditions of funding.
• Responsible for high quality stewarding of all donors and supporters, ensuring BBG’s reputation as an exemplary charity is maintained. Respectful approach and manner in all fundraising. Developing a culture of giving in the charity.
Experience
3-5 years’ experience working in a fundraising capacity, including the raising of significant funds for a charity, including major donors/individuals.

Fundraising Supporter Development Coordinator
About the role
CUF equips people and churches to build just and flourishing communities where they live, so everyone across England can access support when they need it most.

As our new Head of Individual Giving, you will be responsible for growing our income from our individual and corporate base to help us reach more vulnerable members of our community. You will lead on individual fundraising relationships and initiatives, including appeals, fundraising campaigns, and all direct marketing activities and communications. Essential skills and experience:
You will have at least five, ideally eight, years experience of:

The Individual Giving Executive is responsible for delivering direct marketing campaigns to develop and engage existing supporters, across a range of products including cash appeals and the upgrade programme.
You will be working across a range of channels including, but not limited to, print, telemarketing, email and digital. You will need to work with both external agencies and other departments within the organisation to ensure projects are delivered on schedule and within budget.

The Role
To deliver on our new strategy and exciting capital and activity Masterplan, Wonderseekers is growing its Fundraising Team. The Head of Major Gifts is a pivotal new role within this team: working closely with the Director of Fundraising and managing a small team of experienced Trusts & Foundations (T&F) fundraisers, to achieve an initial target of circa £3.5 million within the next two years.
Accomplished at assimilating and interpreting complex information to craft compelling, high-level funding proposals, the post holder will lead and coordinate project fundraising campaigns to achieve the individual project targets, ensuring the highest quality of funding approach and donor stewardship across the Major Gifts Team.
In addition to managing and supporting the in-house T&F Managers and freelance T&F fundraisers to secure five and six figure grants, the post holder will develop and manage their own portfolio of major T&Fs and high net worth individual (HNWI) donors contributing circa £1 million towards the overall initial target. Working with the Director of Fundraising, they will play a lead role in establishing a strong and loyal major donor base of organisations and HNWI for the Charity in anticipation of future funding needs.
The post holder will have impeccable interpersonal and presentation skills and be comfortable representing the Charity and engaging with senior internal and external stakeholders at the highest level.
This is an exciting opportunity for a senior fundraiser to become an influential member of the Charity’s Leadership Team. Following achievement of the initial target, the Head of Major Gifts will play a strategic role in designing and implementing future fundraising campaigns (for “business as usual” and special projects) to support the Charity’s strategic plan and maximise its social impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Charity to achieve its strategic goals by generating the fundraising income required to deliver core activity and development works
- Be an active member of the organisation’s Leadership Team, attending strategic planning sessions to keep abreast of the Charity’s future projects pipeline, identify funding opportunities and help colleagues to understand and support the fundraising process

- Manage a personal portfolio of T&Fs and HNWIs, conducting research, developing and implementing bespoke cultivation plans, preparing and delivering high-level funding proposals and providing exceptional stewardship
- Manage and support the Major Gift Team, coordinating the team’s fundraising activity, ensuring that approaches, applications and stewardship are in line with fundraising regulations, the Charity’s Fundraising Promise, are of a consistently high quality and provide regular progress reports to the Director of Fundraising
- Work with the Director of Fundraising, other members of the Senior Leadership Team, Trustees and the Charity’s Volunteer Leaders to develop and grow a HNWI funding pipeline, conducting contact mapping and other research, producing briefing notes, working with senior stakeholders to develop and implement cultivation plans and organising information / cultivation events
- Work with the Head of Impact & Learning to plan and deliver project impact reports for funders
Person Specification:
Experience and Knowledge
- Experienced T&F fundraiser with a good working knowledge of the sector
- Experience of managing and cultivating T&F and HNWI prospects#
- Experience of securing and managing six and seven figure grants
- Expert bid writer
- Knowledge of logic / theory of change models, social impact and how to measure it

Primary Responsibilities and Duties:
In consultation and verified compliance with the objectives, standards, and requirements communicated by PETA UK and other PETA entities:
- Coordinating PETA's and its entities' online fundraising campaigns, including campaign set-ups, e-mails and donation tracking
- Ensure the operation of the fundraising pages and data-collection elements of PETA's and its affiliates' websites
- Liaise with other departments and PETA affiliates regarding webpage content related to fundraising campaigns and projects
- Act as a task liaison to PETA US' Office of the President and Marketing Department as well as the PETA Foundation US' Production, Legal and Information Technology departments for all Web-based projects and content, including privacy, technology and design issues
