About the role
You will play a key role in advising on and delivering the monitoring and evaluation (M&E) requirements of the Academy’s grant schemes and career development programmes, which will contribute to communicating the impact of our work and the evidence base for the continuous improvement of our schemes and processes. You will also contribute to the team’s wider portfolio of work, including monitoring awards for assurance of compliance with our policies, and the delivery of our strategy. Role Overview:
Reporting directly to the Trustee Board, as CEO, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership, managing operations, and overseeing the overall development of SHARe Knowsley’s services. You will lead fundraising efforts and oversee the charity’s budget to ensure the long-term financial sustainability of SHARe Knowsley. You will lead a passionate and dedicated team of staff and volunteers, ensuring that our programmes are effective, sustainable, and aligned with our mission. You will also play a key role in building relationships with local partners, stakeholders, and funders, as well as advocating for the rights and needs of asylum seekers and refugees, promoting a positive and inclusive organisational culture.
Person Specification:
The ideal candidate will be an experienced leader with a passion for social justice and human rights. You will have a proven track record in a management and leadership role, preferably within the charitable or not-for-profit sector. Ideally, you will have experience of working within the refugee, asylum, or social care sectors. You should be a strategic thinker with strong financial acumen, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build partnerships and influence at all levels. A compassionate and values-driven approach to leadership, with a commitment to social justice and equality.

This Grants and Services Officer post will be key to supporting the charity to achieve those ambitions. At Ambitious about Autism, we're currently looking for an Employment Coach to join our team.
You'll support the digital transformation of the employability service by developing new and innovative ways to share information, advice and guidance with candidates. Initially this will take the format of webinars, workshops, web pages and short-form video content and has the capacity to grow and change as the digital strategy progresses.
You'll work closely with colleagues to deliver on the wider aims of the employability service by supporting the delivery of information, advice and guidance to autistic young people aged 18-25. You'll support autistic candidates to secure paid internships, apprenticeships and employment, supporting an online community of candidates to ensure that Employ Autism activities are guided by candidates' needs and wants.
We are looking for someone who has:
- Specialist knowledge of delivering employment information, advice and guidance on a one-to-one and group basis.
- Experience of working with autistic young people to provide information, advice and guidance.
- Knowledge of recruitment and employability barriers for autistic young people.
- Experience of delivering individual and group activities such as one-to-one meetings, webinars and workshops through online/remote delivery.
