The charity offers a flexible working environment with hybrid working 2 days per week from their office in Cheam, Surrey. 

Working alongside colleagues across the Charity, the Supporter Acquisition Manager will play a key role in driving growth in new supporters and income, innovating, developing and delivering products and campaigns that inspire their audiences and underpinning the Charity’s work through growing sustainable income. 

Key Responsibilities:

•  Supported by the Head of Individual Giving and Legacy, and working with your team, you will drive the development and implementation of a multi-channel acquisition strategy. This will drive lead generation and acquisition of new supporters, growing the charity’s base of supporters, planning, testing and refining approaches to build a scalable programme which delivers volume whilst maximising long-term ROI.
•  Identify opportunities to engage key audiences at moments that matter, such as inductions, promotions, training and development programmes, transfers, secondments and retirements, working in collaboration with colleagues and in partnership with external stakeholders to design and implement new approaches.
•  Work with the appointed agency to develop a regular giving proposition that delivers a strong sense of community across supporters; valuing those who function as custodians of the nation and each other.
•  Work with organisational processes and develop strong project governance to launch supporter acquisition activities across our product range, including but not limited to; Direct Mail, email, telemarketing, social & digital activity and events.  
•  Manage the Supporter Acquisition budget, ensuring income and expenditure budgets and forecasts are achieved with any critical variances being reported promptly.
•  Working with the Supporter Engagement team develop and implement a cross-channel programme of regular impact stewardship for new donors designed to engage, retain and inspire future support, with a focus on payroll and direct debit donors.
•  Work with the Supporter Engagement team to implement key cross-sell opportunities to our current donors through insight-driven customer journeys. 
•  Manage and grow the Charity’s payroll giving programme and represent the Charity as needed in key sector forums on payroll giving.
•  Manage the Donor Acquisition Officer to continue to expand our lottery programme as well as introduce new methods of engagement.

Person Specification: 

•  Demonstrable experience of developing and delivering successful donor acquisition programmes across a range of marketing channels.
•  Understanding of digital platforms and how to maximise them for the benefits of fundraising and supporter engagement.
•  Understanding of fundraising performance metrics and KPIs, with experience of interpreting campaign analysis and supporter insight to drive continuous improvement.
•  Understanding and experience of payroll giving and working with with Professional Fundraising Organisations and Payroll Giving Agencies.
•  Understanding of audience segmentation and its application for campaign targeting.
•  Experience of creating and delivering an effective case for support for potential donors, with demonstrable results.

About this key role

As our Community Accommodation Adviser, you will complete an Initial Needs Assessment (INA) with each service user using a strength-based approached within agreed contractual timeframes, before assessing need and risk, alert to changes that could indicate change in risk or serious harm, including personal safety and safeguarding. 

You will contribute to the design and delivery of an effective and solution-focused accommodation plan and advise and support service users to achieve successful outcomes utilising your specialist housing knowledge and a comprehensive understanding of accommodation and local service provision. Monitoring progress and recording on digital systems is also a key duty.

We are looking for a proactive individual with the desire to grow and develop our programme, someone who has exceptional project management skills, attention to detail and is a multi-tasker. They will be a strong communicator, able to build collaborative relationships across the organisation and with external agencies.  They will also have a proven track record of delivering successful direct marketing campaigns to recruit new supporters or customers across multiple channels and products.

They will:

• Support the Senior Development Manager - Acquisition in the on-going development of the supporter acquisition strategy.
• Project manage a range of direct marketing campaigns from creative, to data selection and analysis.
• Support with the development of the annual budget and manage campaign budgets with a total expenditure of £1.9M

Responsibilities:

Income generation

· Raise voluntary unrestricted and restricted income through submission of high-quality proposals (60% of time)

· Lead on developing the portfolio of funders, joining external networks, seeking out leads from internal staff/ trustees and developing intelligence on potential funders.

· Provide support as requested for significant strategic opportunities to support the Grants & Partnerships Lead.

· Develop an effective approach for raising unrestricting income.

Target Audience:

Account Management:

· Provide excellent account management to grant funders.

· Optimise funding potential and retention of funders through quality and timely reports, regular communication including meetings, and through building excellent relationships.

· Thinking creatively, working with colleagues organise own events/opportunities to increase engagement of funders e.g. project visit, garden open day

· Identify other funding opportunities through relationships, for example for Major Donors, Corporate partnerships and Individual Givers.

· Lead on administration for all designated grants including thank you letters, updating Donorfy and sharing info/updates across the team (comprising approximately 15% of the time).

Internal Reporting:

· Manage accurate and up to date pipeline information on Donorfy, being able to pull reports for information and analysis including:

o Provision of data and narrative for monthly team meetings

o Contribution to Board reporting with narrative and pipeline information

o Analysis for annual planning sessions

Quality and standards:

· Ensure all staff and volunteers understand and deliver within Eikon’s safeguarding policies and practices when taking part in fundraising activities.

· Ensure all activities follow the relevant Fundraising Codes of Practice and Eikon’s Ethical Fundraising Policy.

· Prepare relevant Grant Agreements and contractual information.

· Carry out risk assessments for all activities for which you are responsible.

· Carry out required basic due diligence on new funders.

Finance and resources:

· Operate within organisational approved budgets, policies and procedures.

Communications and relationships:

· Support and liaise with the Marketing Communications Coordinator to deliver relevant and effective content and materials.

Strategy/transformation work:

The role

We are seeking an experienced marketing and communications manager to raise awareness of, and engagement with, the activities of our Enterprise directorate, with a particular focus on our portfolio of regional Hubs.

The successful candidate will develop and deliver marketing plans and produce assets which may include social media posts, paid digital marketing, email newsletters, digital graphics, printed flyers, video clips, blog posts or press releases – tailoring each to regional audiences around the UK. While raising awareness of our regional Hubs with targeted outreach for key local activities, you will also work closely with a small Programme Communications team to contribute to communications plans for our entire suite of Enterprise Hub programmes, helping ensure that each delivers a sufficient volume of high quality, diverse applications from across the UK.

You will be expected to recommend marketing approaches to make an impact, while monitoring and evaluating campaigns to learn from successes and make suggestions for improvement. With good all-round communications skills, you will need to craft high impact copy as well as produce eye-catching visuals, all while adhering to the Academy’s and Enterprise Hub’s brand and visual identity guidelines. Are you passionate about early help, emotional health and wellbeing support for children?

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic practitioner who shares the ambitions and values of both The Children's Society, our partners, and BBC Children in Need to work directly with children aged 8-13 and their families where appropriate. We're looking for someone who has excellent relational skills and who is familiar with ways of engaging younger children and their families specifically in relation to improving children's emotional health and wellbeing.

The funding is going to create a early support programme which will support children aged 8 - 13 years-old across England, Wales, Northern Ireland and Scotland with a strong focus on those children and families who are not represented in emotional health and well being and mental health services. Our ambition is to support children and their families as early as possible to help prevent children developing and experiencing and mental health difficulties as they become teenagers.

The programme will offer one-to-one time-limited wellbeing interventions to children and their families. We will utilise solution-focussed approaches to provide children and their families with a toolbox of strategies to help support the child's emotional health and wellbeing and manage their feelings. The direct work with children and families will be supported by digital interventions, through the use of our own wellbeing site “Me Time”.

The role will be responsible for holding an agreed caseload of children who are struggling with their emotional health and wellbeing, working alongside other agencies to achieve the best possible outcomes and recording the impact you've been able to make on children's lives. You will also utilise The Children's Society digital offer as part of this programme.

Are you passionate about early help, emotional health and wellbeing support for children?

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic practitioner who shares the ambitions and values of both The Children's Society, our partners, and BBC Children in Need to work directly with children aged 8-13 and their families where appropriate. We're looking for someone who has excellent relational skills and who is familiar with ways of engaging younger children and their families specifically in relation to improving children's emotional health and wellbeing.

The funding is going to create a early support programme which will support children aged 8 - 13 years-old across England, Wales, Northern Ireland and Scotland with a strong focus on those children and families who are not represented in emotional health and well being and mental health services. Our ambition is to support children and their families as early as possible to help prevent children developing and experiencing and mental health difficulties as they become teenagers.

The programme will offer one-to-one time-limited wellbeing interventions to children and their families. We will utilise solution-focussed approaches to provide children and their families with a toolbox of strategies to help support the child's emotional health and wellbeing and manage their feelings. The direct work with children and families will be supported by digital interventions, through the use of our own wellbeing site “Me Time”.

The role will be responsible for holding an agreed caseload of children who are struggling with their emotional health and wellbeing, working alongside other agencies to achieve the best possible outcomes and recording the impact you've been able to make on children's lives. You will also utilise The Children's Society digital offer as part of this programme.

Purpose of This Role: 

This is a crucial role to support NASP’s strategic objectives to promote and spread social prescribing at a local, national, and international level.

This pivotal role involves supporting a number of programmes that aim to develop social prescribing within healthcare systems. The role will work closely with our Healthcare Integration Lead to meet our workforce, clinical engagement, and education priorities across the organisation, providing programme coordination as well as supporting a variety of dynamic projects with the aim of supporting the expansion of delivery of social prescribing in a variety of different settings. The role will work collaboratively with colleagues across the organisation, to deliver one of our key priorities.  

This is an ideal opportunity for a proactive and highly organised individual with excellent project management, administrative, and communication skills to support the development of our growing healthcare integration portfolio, whilst developing skills in supporting complex and strategic projects and a national level. The ideal candidate will be a self starter, with experience in working autonomously, and someone who has a developed understanding of the complexities of health and social care systems both at a Primary Care Network (PCN) and Integrated Care System (ICS) level.

• Provide coordination, administration and communication support to programmes which focus on engaging the NHS and clinicians, liaising with senior NASP staff, consultants and key partners  

• Assist in establishing and maintaining strategic advisory groups within NASP to foster collaboration, peer support, and knowledge-sharing among stakeholders

Background

Chapter One is a dynamic, growing charity with a vision of a world in which all children have the literacy skills needed to thrive. Our mission is to close the reading gap by providing children with one-to-one support at the time they need it most. We work in eleven areas/regions of the UK and will support 3250 children in 2024-25.

Our unique Online Reading Volunteer programme pairs struggling five to seven-year old (KS1) readers with reading support volunteers who are working professionals. The volunteer ask is very focused: readers commit 30 minutes a week to read with a child using a bespoke digital platform for an entire academic year. The results are transformative, boosting children's reading confidence and ability.

From a school perspective, online reading volunteers provide direct, meaningful literacy support for up to 10 pupils per class. The programme is particularly suitable for communities where it might be challenging to find parents and other volunteers who can commit to physically visiting schools to boost reading.

Job Summary

Chapter One is seeking a Manchester Programme Manager who is an excellent communicator and is able both to motivate and support schools and teachers to implement our online reading volunteers programme, and also to ensure that the programme’s impact and benefit to children facing disadvantage communities is maximised throughout the academic year.

The post is ideal for someone looking for part-time, flexible, term-time only work from a home base, but who is also able to travel frequently around the Greater Manchester area to visit schools.The postholder will be joining a team of established Programme Managers (also part-time) who work in different parts of the UK and will need to have some flexibility to work additional hours during busy autumn months, and conversely to work fewer hours during quieter periods of the year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Effectively explain Chapter One’s online reading volunteer programme and its benefits to school leaders and teachers

• Install, setup and maintain Chapter One equipment in participating classrooms

• Fully understand the operation of the Chapter One platform and database and communicate this to others

• Organise and conduct initial teacher training and follow-up

• Ensure a smooth initial launch of Chapter One’s programme in every classroom

• Liaise with colleagues performing technical and volunteer support roles

• Through regular visits to/contact with schools, provide on-going embedded professional learning and support to teachers throughout the year as needed

• Support programme monitoring, evaluation and research as required

• Coordinate in person and virtual school ‘visits’ of volunteer teams to classrooms where necessary. This may include opportunities for Chapter One children to visit the office of the volunteers.

• Liaison with corporate partners as required

• Weekly communication and status updates with Senior Programme Manager(s) and wider team

• As a new school year approaches, secure commitments from returning schools and find and target new schools to join Chapter One’s programme

Get Further is an award-winning charity that helps students from disadvantaged backgrounds secure essential English and maths qualifications. We support students in further education by providing specialist tuition, helping them progress into higher education, apprenticeships, and employment. Our programme has been proven to significantly improve student outcomes, with students on our programme more likely to improve by at least one grade compared to the national average.

To help more students get further, we are seeking a driven and passionate Head of Fundraising who will build relationships with major donors to the charity – especially Trusts and Foundations – to secure a significant portion of the charity’s income.

The successful candidate will report to the COO and focus on building meaningful, long-term relationships to secure 5-6 figure gifts over the coming years. You will proactively engage with prospective funders, write high-quality applications and deliver excellent supporter engagement, including tailored reports and case studies

About the Role

The Head of Fundraising will be a key member of our Senior Management Team (SMT) and take ownership of our Fundraising Strategy to support the diversification of our income. This role is vital to our future growth and sustainability, and an opportunity to lead an exciting part of the charity which makes a real difference to the students we support.

Strategy and Leadership

• Lead the delivery of our fundraising strategy in line with our current organisational strategy which runs from 2024-2029. 
• Lead on the management of key information about Get Further’s fundraising activity and ensure it is stored appropriately, well organised and with high attention to detail. This will include supporting the transition of the fundraising function onto Salesforce.
• Prepare fundraising update reports for the Finance and Risk Committee and the Board of Trustees as required.
• Contribute to and attend internal/external events on behalf of Get Further as required.

Fundraising and Stakeholder Engagement

• Lead the core fundraising activities, including line managing our Fundraising Officer. This includes developing an in-depth understanding of existing and potential supporters to provide tailored relationship management, including engagement opportunities, to meet significant targets over multiple years.
• Support the Fundraising Officer to identify new prospects, in particular, charitable trusts and foundations that have the potential to support Get Further for the first time. You will effectively qualify and engage with prospects to build a pipeline for the coming years, matching prospects with appropriate asks.
• Oversee and write compelling applications for funding that are tailored to each recipient and make a convincing case for how their support with help more young people achieve their gateway qualifications.
• Lead on ensuring all supporters and donors receive updates and reports within the required timeframes and that these are crafted with impact data and case studies to ensure maximum stakeholder engagement.

Team Management and Collaboration

• Provide effective line management of our Fundraising Officer to support their personal development and successful delivery of their role.
• Work closely with the COO to develop budgets to accompany applications and provide financial reports to funders and partners.
• Work closely with the Impact Team to develop efficient processes for impact reporting to funders.
• Support the COO to ensure that policies relating to fundraising are up to date and fit for purpose.
• Provide expertise to the Senior Management Team on philanthropic opportunities and ensure fundraising is conducted in line with the relevant legislation and the Code of Fundraising Practice.

• Familiarity with database systems, like Salesforce (or able and interested in learning to use a database management system).
