About the role 

As one of our Senior Marketing Managers in the Brand team, you will be at the forefront of delivering the integrated Christmas campaign for 2025. You will lead the development, execution, and evaluation of this pivotal campaign, ensuring all activities are completed on time, within budget, and meet their targets. This campaign is crucial in inspiring more people to engage with and support the BHF’s life-changing, life-saving work. 

Your role will be vital in maintaining consistency across all integrated activities and identifying and leveraging income-generating opportunities, as this is one of our most critical income-generating campaigns. 

You will oversee the expert delivery of our brand messages and the application of our visual identity across all communications charity-wide. You will challenge agencies, partners, and in-house teams to create integrated and inspiring work that showcases the power of the BHF brand. 

With a deep understanding of the charity, its strategies, objectives, brand challenges, and project priorities, you will contribute to briefs, develop creative ideas, and provide feedback to agencies and campaign leads. Collaboration is at the heart of this role, as you will help leverage, manage, and integrate key partners, including agencies and teams across the organisation, to increase income through established fundraising and brand initiatives. 

This role is essential in helping BHF provide information and support to everyone affected by cardiovascular disease. 

About you 

With a strong experience in developing and leading integrated brand campaigns, you’ll be both innovative and creative, with expertise in brand and visual identity management.  

You’ll have a CIM/IDM or similar marketing qualification and a proven track record in leading multi-channel marketing campaigns, preferably in charity or health marketing, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to brief. 

Additionally, you have strong influencing and negotiating skills, with previous experience managing agencies and suppliers and fostering collaboration with diverse teams and stakeholders, using diplomacy and empathy. 

To be successful, you will be:

• Proven experience in developing and leading ATL integrated brand campaigns
• Experienced in marketing activities across various channels and formats including TV, radio, outdoor, press, digital. 
• Experienced in leading large external and internal partners in the delivery of an integrated campaign. 

Working Arrangements

This is a  fixed term contract until 31 March 2026. 

This is a blended role, where your work will be dual located between your home and our London office (NW1 7AW).

The Stories Officer sits in the Marketing and Communications team and will focus on:

· Assist in managing storytelling requests from across RNID, providing vital support and crafting impactful and compelling narratives.

· Manage and update our centralised database of case studies, celebrities, and influencers, ensuring all stories across the charity are recorded for effective stewardship. Maintain storyteller profiles, contact details, permissions, and consent forms while ensuring GDPR compliance in data collection and storage.

· Collaborate with PR, fundraising, digital, and campaigning teams to integrate storytelling into their work, identify their needs, and match case studies or celebrities to relevant projects.

· Support the development and delivery of storytelling content across multiple platforms, including social media, website, press, and marketing materials, ensuring content meets accessibility standards.

· Manage multiple internal and external storyteller requests.

Your new role

The Role

You will also oversee our Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring it is well-maintained, up to date, and accessible to all staff.

Responsibilities

Training & Development Strategy

• Lead the planning, design, and delivery of engaging and relevant training in line with contractual and organisational requirements.

• Work closely with Service Managers to identify learning needs and skills gaps across teams.

• Develop and maintain content on the Learning Management System (LMS), tailoring courses to meet operational priorities.

• Research and introduce new training initiatives (e.g., apprenticeships, funded programmes) aligned with strategic objectives.

• Design and review development pathways to support growth into new contracts or impact areas.

• Ensure compliance of mandatory training as required by our contract holders.

Performance & Capability

• Oversee the supervision and appraisal framework, ensuring staff receive meaningful, holistic feedback.

• Identify and support upskilling needs for professional growth and organisational performance.

• Support managers with performance management processes, including informal interventions and formal proceedings where necessary.

Training Quality & Evaluation

• Monitor the quality and impact of internal training sessions.

• Ensure trainers are confident and engaging in their delivery.

• Maintain oversight of the training calendar, attendance tracking, and associated admin.

Onboarding & Induction

• Manage and continuously improve the New Starter Induction programme.

• Evaluate and enhance the effectiveness of employee onboarding to ensure a positive and well-supported start.

• Deliver inductions, training and workshops when required.

Employee Experience & Wellbeing

• Oversight of access to effective Peer Group Support across relevant teams and monitor its impact.

People & Culture

We have an exciting opportunity for a new member of staff to join Transport for All and support the delivery of our vision: Transport Justice for All Disabled People. 

This role will lead on public affairs and campaigns, ensuring our policy positions and calls for change are communicated effectively to decision-makers and the public. The postholder will deliver strategic, accessible, high-impact campaigns, working with Transport for All members and allies to push for change. And they’ll build strong relationships with key stakeholders across Disabled People’s Organisations, government, local authorities, and the transport sector. 

You will help ensure that all our external influencing is accessible, values-driven, and rooted in the lived experiences of disabled people. 

We’re looking for someone with experience in political influencing, campaigning, or public affairs. You’ll need to be organised, creative, and confident representing our organisation in public-facing spaces. 

Your responsibilities

1. Campaigns (50% of time)

· Develop strategic campaign goals and deliver inclusive, impactful campaigns, rooted in lived experience, in collaboration with colleagues and Transport for All members

· Use a range of techniques, including e-campaigning, direct action, and events, to engage and mobilise members and alliies

· Lead on using an online campaigning tool (e.g. Action Network), supporting and growing our campaigning members, while ensuring that accessible, offline actions are given equal weighting

· Work closely with the Communications and Engagement team to ensure campaign content is timely, accessible, and effective

· Build partnerships with other Disabled People’s Organisations and charities to amplify campaign efforts

· Monitor and report on campaign impact and key performance indicators (KPIs)

· Ensure campaigns reflect Transport for All’s values and centre disabled people’s lived experiences

2. Public Affairs (40% of time)

· Communicate Transport for All’s policy positions to MPs, civil servants, mayors, local authorities, and other key stakeholders

· Build and maintain relationships with political stakeholders, including elected officials and sector partners

· Represent Transport for All at external meetings, conferences, and events

· Monitor and respond to political developments, identifying timely opportunities for influence

· Collaborate with the Policy and Public Affairs Officer to ensure consistent and coordinated external messaging

3. Cross team working (10% of time)

· Work closely with the Policy and Public Affairs Officer to align public affairs and campaign activity with our co-designed policy positions

· Contribute to internal reporting, including updates for funders and the board

· Take part in team planning and reflection processes to support learning and impact

4. General (at all times)
