Purpose of the job/About the role

To support this transformation, we are seeking a Deputy Director of IT who will lead in delivering a reliable, secure, and innovative IT environment that enhances the charity’s operations.
In this role, you will lead technical teams, manage projects, oversee IT infrastructure, and ensure that technology aligns with the charity’s strategic goals. You will play a vital role in advancing our digital capabilities, enabling efficient operations and supporting the expansion of our mission-driven activities.
As a strategic leader, you will contribute to the overall strategy for Finance and Corporate Services, offering insights and guidance. You will oversee the development and implementation of the overarching IT strategy, working closely with the Director to ensure alignment with the Directorate Strategy. In addition, you will lead in the creation and execution of the charity’s Data Strategy, empowering Dementia UK to effectively harness data into actionable goals with clear performance metrics.
You will collaborate with internal stakeholders such as fundraising, clinical, finance and people teams to understand their IT needs and explore opportunities to enhance service delivery, fundraising, and donor engagement through technology. Your oversight of IT infrastructure will span servers, networks, cloud environments and data centers, ensuring reliable and secure operations while implementing best practices in security and data protection. You will also ensure that IT policies and procedures comply with industry standards, including GDPR, Charity Commission requirements, and data security guidelines.
To succeed in this role, you will have a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, along with extensive experience in senior IT management, with a focus on infrastructure, security, and project management. You will possess sound knowledge of IT governance, security, and compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR) and have experience with cloud platforms, network infrastructure, and database management. Exceptional communication skills will be essential, enabling you to convey complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

The Role
Lead and manage end-to-end project lifecycle for digital transformation initiatives, particularly focusing on the integration of cloud-based business support systems tailored for social care.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including social care managers and their staff, IT teams, and cloud service providers, to understand requirements, set goals, and ensure alignment with project objectives.
Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, risk management, and budget monitoring, to ensure timely and on-budget project delivery.
Lead change management efforts to prepare teams for new processes and technology adoption, ensuring a smooth transition and promoting best practices for maximizing system effectiveness.
Oversee the technical aspects of cloud-based solution implementation, including integration with existing systems, data migration, and configuration to meet regulatory and operational standards.
The Candidate
Minimum of 5 years of technical project management experience, with at least 3 years in digital transformation projects within the social care or public sector.
Proven experience with cloud-based solutions (e.g., Azure, AWS, Google Cloud) and knowledge of business support systems tailored for the social care sector.
Strong background in Agile, Scrum, and/or Waterfall methodologies with hands-on experience in managing large-scale projects.
Skilled in leading change initiatives, developing change management strategies, and facilitating training sessions for new system implementations.
Strong capability in analysing complex problems, devising strategies, and implementing solutions within a structured, high-compliance environment.
Desirable bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Management, or related field. A masters degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2)

The Royal Parks (TRP) is a charity created in March 2017. We manage over 5,000 acres of diverse parkland, rare habitats and historic buildings and monuments in eight Royal Parks across London. The Role
As an Estates Manager, you will deliver an effective estate management function across the expansive and diverse Royal Parks Estate.
Your responsibilities will span the management of property-related matters, including non-residential assets and the negotiation of property contracts, ensuring that we maximise value from our property portfolio.
A central part of your role will be the negotiation and management of leases, occupation licences, rent and licence fee reviews, as well as ensuring compliance and monitoring of existing agreements.
You will also manage utility access across the estate, ensuring that we receive the best value while co-ordinating with Park Managers to minimise disruption during major events or ceremonies.
Additionally, you will:
- Oversee the property management database together with other Estate Managers
- Lead on commercial property matters within the parks with the assistance of the wider team
- Provide financial support through budgeting and forecasting
- Contribute to the Estates business plan, licensing policies and risk management
- Oversee the regularisation of Longford River freebord usage
- Assist with projects
About You
To be considered as an Estates Manager, you will need:
- General practice asset and/or estate management experience
- Experience working for an estate of similar size and complexity to the Royal Parks
- Experience using property management databases
- The ability to read drawings/maps (notably plans, sections and elevations)
- Excellent report writing, mathematical and analytical skills
- A degree level education or equivalent through relevant training or experience

Job purpose:
The Website Content Manager will lead on the content strategy for our new and improved website - delivering engaging content which inspires our audiences to take action from praying to donating in order for Muslim Hands to continue it’s lifesaving work. The Website Manager will have oversight of all pages, from blogs to appeals, responsible for optimising our each for SEO and CRO.
Main responsibilities:
- Produce and publish new pages from appeals to blogs in line with the organisation’s needs – this includes copywriting and liaising with designers for creative.
- Create and deliver the website content strategy inline with our key fundraising touchpoints – delivering an approach which puts the audience at the centre of our plans.
- Lead on our SEO strategy in partnership with our agency to deliver SEO audits, SEO driven blogs and to improve our overall website ranking.
- Lead on creating and delivering our conversion rate optimisation strategy.
- Deliver a test plan of website content which optimises the user experience.
- Create, update and audit website pages in line with the orgs needs. Including copy, creative, landing pages, functions, journeys in line with our brand guidelines.
- Work closely with the external developers to suggest new features we’d like to test in terms of the site’s functionality.
- Communicate website updates to the wider organisation.
- Lead on reporting for organic search, SEO and CRO metrics on a weekly and monthly basis – sharing with SLT.

In this role you will have the opportunity to lead processes and activities in support of the design and delivery of the UK Humanitarian Innovation Hub’s (UKHIH) global communications and engagement strategy under the direction and guidance of the UKHIH Director.
