Successful candidates for the Industrial Officer will be able to demonstrate:
- Encouraging participation and recruitment of new members, particularly of under-represented groups
- Industrial relations, negotiations, advocacy and representation
- Understanding of the political processes in the UK and the role and work of trade unions
- Basic knowledge of employment rights, equality legislation discrimination law and working practices
- Methods and techniques for bargaining, campaigning and organising in a digital age
The main duties of the Industrial Officer role include:
- Identifying and maximising the potential for union growth
- Influencing success by developing and promoting the union’s bargaining, campaigning, equality and organising agenda
- Encouraging membership participation and support in allocated areas of responsibility
The ability to organise own work, identify and set priorities as well as communicate effectively using written and oral channels, including reports and presentations, with a variety of audiences are all essential requirements for a successful Industrial Officer.

About the role
As a Senior Analyst you’ll take a lead in using data to better understand our supporters by applying advanced data analysis techniques. About the role
- The post holder will be responsible for developing and delivering a workforce development plan to grow and maintain a workforce to enable an all year-round multi-sport offer in our priority places.
- The post holder will be responsible for leading the design, development and delivery of the StreetGames Workforce Development offer for the network of over 400 locally trusted organisations (LTOs) in London & the Southeast.
- The post holder will work with LTOs in the StreetGames network to enable them able to access workforce development opportunities that helps them to build capability and capacity, so they are better able to utilise the power of sport to transform young lives & underserved communities – which is core to the StreetGames mission and collective End Game.
- The post holder will work together with the StreetGames training academy and the network support teams to ensure that all LTOs in the network can access the StreetGames core offer appropriate to their workforce needs.

- Managing our response handling agency to ensure effective conversion of response for our DRTV campaigns through regular monitoring and testing; providing training and development and analysing results regularly.
- Manage agency relationships; overseeing the management and development of any campaigns from briefing through to post-campaign analysis, collaborating with external partners, taking responsibility for resolving queries, trafficking all stages of the project and escalation of potential problems.
