You will play a crucial role in maintaining the quality and usability of the shared dataset, strengthening collaborative relationships across sectors, and improving public access to vital community support services across Dorset.

About you
You’ll have extensive experience providing excellent administrative and project support, including using databases and gathering and analysing data.

You’ll be a skilled communicator with the ability to engage, work with, and build relationships with a wide range of people. An understanding of charities, community groups, and statutory services across Dorset is essential.

You’ll be self-motivated, organised, and proficient in the MS Office suite, with particular confidence in Microsoft Excel.

We are looking for a proactive and creative marketing professional with at least five years’ experience marketing key initiatives for a recognised public institution or national brand. You’ll be hands-on, and equally comfortable planning campaigns and creating content yourself, with an excellent editorial eye across our different channels and a strong understanding of what drives public engagement.

You must be:

• A proactive strategist and executor, who is experienced in marketing a wide range of projects including ideally events to the public.
• Skilled in creating compelling marketing content across our owned channels.

Our day centre service is currently open three days per-week offering respite, food and somewhere safe to be for anyone facing street homelessness. It provides advocacy and casework services to those who are vulnerably housed or homeless, supporting them to address their individual crisis and the underlying causes. We also provide a small year round night shelter provision. 

APAP works in close partnership with a number of key agencies locally including drug and alcohol teams, street outreach services, local authority housing teams and the wider VCS. We are a gateway service in the community through which our clients can access a range of support. 

The Community Fundraising and Partnerships Coordinator will be responsible for developing and nurturing relationships within the local community to support APAP’s fundraising efforts, including schools, local businesses, faith and community groups. A key feature of this role will be developing increased year-round community engagement and fundraising, leading into the planning and delivery of at least one annual fundraising campaign. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to engage directly with stakeholders to build strong partnerships, whilst contributing strategically to the growth of the charity's fundraising efforts.

Tiyeni is a UK-Malawian NGO whose mission is to end food poverty and to improve water security. We achieve our mission by delivering training and support to smallholder farmers in our innovative form of climate-smart agriculture, Deep Bed Farming (DBF). About the role

You will be responsible for developing and diversifying the base of supporters and achieving fundraising targets. You will help maintain our existing stable income but also develop other income streams, expand our supporter networks, and build our sustainability for the future. The successful candidate will develop and maintain relationships with trusts and foundations as well as corporate partners and individual givers. You will develop and deliver successful plans to diversify and optimize our income as well as maintaining and improving the tools, processes, and internal expertise to ensure sustainability. You will explore other forms of fundraising, such as crowdfunding, major donors, and events.

Skills and experience

You will have a proven track record of soliciting, managing, and securing income from diverse income streams. You will have experience of developing successful grant applications and proposals for support to trusts and foundations. You will have digital fundraising fluency such as using social media to build support and run crowdfunding campaigns.

You will be an outstanding written communicator with the ability to absorb and synthesize complex information and translate it into compelling written cases for support. You should have excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills with the ability to relate to, influence, and persuade internal and external stakeholders at all levels. You should be proactive, positive, and able to work on your own initiative, learn and test creative approaches, and remain resilient in the face of setbacks. As part of our exciting plans for growth, we are seeking a Fundraising Lead to drive the organisation’s fundraising to fulfil our mission and play a key role in supporting the next phase of Frazzled’s growth and development. 

You will be responsible for developing and delivering an ambitious fundraising strategy with a range of fundraising activities focusing primarily on trusts and foundations but also individual donors, corporate partners and fundraising campaigns.

MAIN TASKS

Fundraising

• Lead on developing and delivering an annual fundraising strategy to support our ambitious plans for growth, securing a minimum of £250k per year from Trusts and Foundations, individual donors, fundraising events and campaigns, and corporate partnerships. 
• Research and generate a pipeline of funding applications, including multi-year grant opportunities from Trusts and Foundations
• Lead on writing compelling applications and conversations with funders, talking persuasively and informatively about Frazzled’s work and impact
• Work with the CEO and trustees to develop new relationships with individual donors and strengthen partnerships with existing supporters
• Work with the CEO and Head of Training and Programmes to develop new opportunities for corporate sponsorship and partnerships

Sundial Centre for Education on Harmful Practices (“Sundial” previously called Oxford Against Cutting) delivers high quality education and training on harmful practices, such as female genital mutilation (FGM), ‘honour’-based abuse (HBA) and harmful body alterations. We offer safeguarding training for teams of professionals such as teachers, police and social workers. We also deliver lessons in schools, as well as workshops for community groups. We ensure people from FGM- and HBA- affected communities and young people are at the forefront of our work and all our workshops are delivered with facilitators from affected communities. 

We are looking for a Communications Manager to support our marketing, press and social media work.

Job Description

The charity would like to increase our digital footprint by 50% and in order to do this we need a highly motivated communications lead to boost our profile. You will create and deliver a marketing, press and social media strategy, to increase both the reach of our work and awareness of harmful practices. You will build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders including journalists, influencers and ambassadors to raise our visibility in both English and international languages in UK press, manage all our platforms and create digital content. You will work with the team and trustees to achieve desired outputs within agreed timeframes and budgets, to operational standards. Your work will be co-designed and informed by survivors and communities. You will operate under the principles of Do No Harm. 

This role will be home-based and in Oxfordshire and will report to the CEO.

Person Specification

You will ideally be from a community affected by a harmful practice such as FGM/C or ‘honour’-based abuse and forced marriage. This does not necessarily mean you personally have been affected, but you have a deep understanding of the issues from living in your community.

Your knowledge of the topic:

You will need a strong understanding of violence against women and girls (VAWG), policy and legislation, ideally having experience working in the VAWG sector. 

High level of organisation:

Most of the time you will be working from your home office so you will need be highly self-motivated and organised to meet deadlines for campaigns around international days (e.g. International Women’s Day) for example.  You will be required to attend occasional meetings in Oxfordshire or elsewhere in the UK, for example at conferences where Sundial is represented, and some team meetings.

Strategic skills:

• Create and deliver Sundial’s marketing and social media strategy, ensuring a consistent message is shared with supporters

They are looking for a successful communications professional, preferably with significant experience in the charity/ not-for-profit sector who has managed communications functions and campaign delivery with breadth, context and scale.

To be successful in this role, you'll ideally have at least 5 years’ experience working in a similar communications role, with at least three of those managing and developing multiple marcoms campaign delivery. You’ll be experienced in delivering and coordinating income generation campaigns, CRM data management, website and digital development, as well as monitoring and reporting on digital performance.

The Individual Giving Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to grow and diversify individual giving income streams. This role will focus on managing and expanding our lottery, regular giving, cash appeals, in memory giving and raffles programs.

NRAS has an exciting opportunity for an Individual Giving Manager as we move into a period of expansion of the team and the start of our new 3 year strategy. The Individual Giving Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to grow and diversify individual giving income streams. This role will focus on managing and expanding our lottery, regular giving, cash appeals, in memory giving and raffles programs.

The National Rheumatoid Arthritis Society (NRAS), is the only organisation in the UK specialising in both rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA). Due to its targeted focus on RA and JIA, NRAS provides truly expert and wide-ranging services to support, educate and campaign for people living with these complex autoimmune conditions, their families and the health professionals who treat them.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lottery Promotion: 
   • Develop and implement strategies to increase lottery participation and income. 
   • Create and monitor a lapsed lottery journey. 
   • Manage relationships with external lottery providers. 
   • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and best practices. 
   • Plan and manage raffle campaigns to maximise participation and revenue. 
2. Regular Giving: 
   • Develop and implement strategies to grow our regular giving program. 
   • Manage donor retention and upgrade strategies. 
   • Analyse regular giving performance and optimise programmes based on insights. 
   • Manage the Membership recruitment process 
3. Cash Appeals: 
   • Plan and execute cash appeal campaigns, including direct mail and digital appeals. 
   • Analyse campaign performance and optimise future appeals based on insights. 
   • Collaborate with the communications team to create compelling appeal content. 
4. In Memory Giving: 
   • Develop and promote in memory giving opportunities. 
   • Promote the use of Tribute Funds and other related products. 
   • Ongoing stewardship of supporter in-memory. 
5. Other Activity: 
   • Lead and implement the individual giving donor journey, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience for supporters at all stages. 
   • Focus on retention and stewardship by maintaining and deepening relationships with existing donors, ensuring they feel valued and connected to the charity’s impact, and encouraging continued support. 

Position in Organisation

The post holder will report to the COO. This role is part of the wider fundraising team.The post holder will work closely with: 

• External fundraising contacts.
• Other charities and health professional organisations.

Qualifications/Experience

High levels of numeracy

Desirable:
Degree level or equivalent.
Fundraising qualification.

• Proven experience in individual giving fundraising, including lottery, cash appeals, in memory giving, raffles, and regular giving.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
• Ability to analyse data and use insights to inform plans.
• Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.

• Work with volunteers.

Knowledge/skills

• Possible travel throughout the UK, involving some overnight stays.
• Attendance and participation in team meetings.
• Any other duties as requested.

About the role

As one of two Regional Programmes Manager, you’ll inspire and lead a team of Senior Programmes Officers and Kinship Family Workers to effectively deliver high quality support services for kinship families across Greater London, the South of England and the Midlands.

You’ll do this by working in close collaboration with local authority teams who have commissioned our services and other funders where appropriate.

You’ll have accountability and ownership for ensuring we deliver impactful services for kinship carers and that we meet targets for our commissioned services. Working collaboratively with our other managers in other services, you’ll ensure we’re delivering high impact programmes.

You’ll ensure your team have real clarity and direction on their role and responsibilities - encouraging curiosity, learning and solutions-focused thinking. As a leader in the organisation, you are a key model for the team.

Your team will deliver the following programmes:

• Kinship Connected – in-person one-to-one support and support groups in the community
• Kinship Reach – remote one-to-one support and virtual support groups
• Kinship Ready – online workshops to prepare new and prospective special guardians for their role, as well as wraparound one-to-one support (in one local authority)

You will also manage a new role of Grants Officer - London, funded by the Aviva Foundation.

As one of our deputy safeguarding leads, you’ll be part of our key safeguarding structure.  This means you’ll take ownership to make sure our people feel confident and well supported to demonstrate best practice and making sure safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility.

Key responsibilities include:

• Oversee the day-to-day running of programmes, supporting mostly home-based Senior Programmes Workers and Kinship Family Workers to ensure high quality, consistent and impactful programme delivery.

• Meet performance targets as directed.

• Create and keep developing processes and systems which support consistency across all programmes, ensuring good quality documentation and manualisation on Notion.so

• Develop quality assurance frameworks with other service managers and directors.

• Support your team to establish and deliver in-person and virtual peer support groups regionally and generate engagement with kinship carers.

• Line management and supervision of Senior Programmes Workers and Kinship Family Workers as required.

• Actively encourage personal development and support staff to deliver key targets and outcomes and ensure high levels of wellbeing.

• Work with the Director of Services and Digital, Head of Programmes and the Business Development team to develop proposals and present to local authorities to secure commissions.

• Manage the delivery of commissioned contracts through collaborative relationships with local authorities, ensuring targets are met.

• Manage the programmes and services within budget, in accordance with Kinship’s financial procedures and ensure the reporting of progress in line with funder requirements.

• Work actively and positively with other managers within Kinship to ensure sharing of best practice, problem solving, relevant connections and consistency of delivery across England and Wales.

• Act as a deputy safeguarding lead at Kinship

Essential requirements include:

• Substantial experience in managing a regional service or programme with high quality outputs (national experience desirable but not essential).
• Substantial experience of managing, developing and evaluating effective and innovative services for families experiencing crisis and experience in reaching ‘hidden communities’ and a commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion.
• Experience of leading and managing continuous improvement in changing contexts.
• Experience of governance and managing risk on high profile service delivery.
• Experience of ensuring that services are designed and led with user needs at the heart, ensuring that the voices of our kinship carers inform ongoing design and development of our programmes.
• High quality digital and data literacy and using technology to help us to be better in our processes. You’ll have to own Salesforce and be a massive champion for the team. You will be accountable for ensuring they use it well.
• Substantial experience of leading high-performing service teams including managing wellbeing, development and performance.
