Job Description
As a Financial Wellbeing Advisor within Catch22’s Justice team in London, you will play a key role in supporting ex-offenders on probation, focusing on their financial needs. Working with adult males, you’ll explore the root causes of financial hardship and help address debt, benefits, and overall financial wellbeing to build their confidence in managing finances independently.
You will manage a caseload, conducting assessments and developing action plans, while collaborating with local agencies to deliver support. You'll also assist with accessing benefits, banking services, and financial entitlements. The role is autonomous but collaborative, with opportunities to improve service quality and share innovative ideas.
About You
You’re highly organized, process-driven, and able to manage workloads efficiently. With a keen eye for detail and strong writing skills, you ensure timely and high-quality case management. Proactive and resilient, you thrive under pressure and are quick to learn, ready to tackle new challenges in a fast-paced environment.
You’ll have experience in the Criminal Justice System or working with disadvantaged people, with a passion for making a positive impact.
Qualifications
GCSE in Maths and English, or equivalent
Experience in the Criminal Justice System

We are looking for an experienced commercial and visitor experience professional to join our team in the new post of Senior Commercial Manager, reporting into our trading board, Crystal Palace Park Events Ltd (CPPEL), and line managed by the Director of Parks Management. This post presents an exciting opportunity to become a Wellbeing Practitioner at our Personal Wellbeing service covering the Gloucestershire area. Commissioned by HMPPS this service is focused on supporting adult male ex-offenders by delivering focussed interventions across the following pathways:

Your role will be to support service users to develop strategies to manage emotions and deliver skills training to foster self-confidence by knowing how to access appropriate support. You will also support service users to increase capacity to undertake activities to support daily living and advocate for service users in conjunction with multi-agency partners to engage with treatment and other professionals/services (MH teams/support groups) Your role will support our team in achieving our Justice Business Plan objectives: innovate, revitalise and reform the delivery of Justice Services.
This role will involve working in close partnership with delivery partners, HMPPS, Voluntary Sector and other Criminal Justice organisations to promote and deliver our services and achieve the required outputs and outcomes.
Qualifications
Essential

About the Role
The Campaigns and Influencing Manager will develop and drive forward Agenda’s campaigns and influencing plans to improve systems and services for women and girls with unmet needs.
This role would support a collaborative, proactive and enthusiastic person, keen to work closely with our team, Alliance members, and women and girls with lived experience of the areas we work on, to share our messages and bring about positive social change.
This is an exciting and varied role, providing the right candidate with the opportunity to bring together campaigning, policy influencing, convening and co-production, as well as the chance to develop and manage others. The postholder will look across all our evidence and projects to consider and implement the most impactful routes to influence.
Key responsibility areas
- Developing and holding Agenda’s campaigns and influencing plans, aimed at improving systems and services for women and girls with unmet needs, drawing on a range of tactics and approaches.
- Overseeing the delivery of existing funded projects and influencing goals, including around young women and racial disproportionality in the justice system, girls at risk of school exclusion, mental health and racism in public services.
- Coordinating the team to draw together Agenda’s research, communications, policy and insights to develop key messages, and ways of using these to target and influence key audiences.
- Identifying key points of influence and leverage across a range of areas, nationally and locally - developing approaches and relationships with key actors which will have maximum impact for bringing about change.

Buxton Opera House is a beautiful Edwardian theatre and one of the country's finest examples of Frank Matcham theatre design. Under the leadership of Paul Kerryson, CEO, Buxton Opera House has become one of Britain's leading receiving theatres. Our programme comprises around 450 performances each year including dance, comedy, children's shows, drama, live music, pantomime and opera, with a thriving programme of work at the Pavilion Arts Centre which includes live music and a space for young artists to perform. The Head of Individual Giving will play a key role in managing and growing the theatre’s individual giving income, membership schemes and events, and will support corporate income. Demonstrable fundraising experience and the ability to deliver a high standard of customer service to both colleagues and external stakeholders both online and face-to-face is essential.

The post will be primarily based remotely, working from home, but with access to shared office space in Camden and Monument in London. Our board of trustees meet twice a year in person in central London (and twice more online), and our Executive Director is often in London for meetings once or twice a week. Main Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership and Management
– To share responsibility for leading the strategic direction and success of YMCA East Surrey as part of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) together with the Head of Finance, Head of Housing, Head of Children and Young People Services and Deputy CEO.
– To be the accountable and strategic lead for Central Services, working closely with other members of the SLT to deliver integrated support across areas such as HR, property management, IT systems, and compliance.

Governance and Compliance
– Fulfilling the role of Company Secretary and leading the delivery of all governance processes in line with policy, procedures and the memorandum and articles, including all charity and corporate law requirements.
– To take the lead role on compliance, maintaining and developing a policy framework and working with Heads of Service to ensure that appropriate policies are drafted, reviewed and implemented and that the YMCA meets all its obligations under the relevant statutory and regulatory frameworks in which we work (Ofsted, RSH and possibly CQC in the future).
– To provide or facilitate training and development activity to ensure that managers and staff are aware of, and are meeting, requirements laid down by relevant policies, legislation and regulatory bodies.
– To take on the role of Data Protection Officer and ensure that the YMCA complies with its statutory responsibilities under Data Protection Regulations
– To be responsible for leading on quality management and maintaining our accreditation under Trusted Charity.
– To work with Heads of Service, managers and trustees to ensure that effective risk management practice is embedded into decision making at all levels of the organisation.
– To attend trustee meetings and to produce reports and help prepare agendas for the Governance and Risk Committee, a subcommittee of the main board.
IT
– To be responsible for all IT hardware and software needs, to manage support contracts and develop new IT systems and use of technology to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the Association (including mobile phones, laptops and other devices).
– To work with other Heads of Service to develop and maintain new integrated IT systems that can manage data, and record, monitor and evaluate outputs and outcomes delivered by the YMCA’s diverse projects and services.
– To work with the Systems Analyst and outsourced IT Support Company deliver ongoing digital transformation and promote the necessary training and policies to ensure that staff fully utilise the new technology.
– To work with the Fundraising Manager and CEO to support the delivery of new projects especially the acquisition and development of new properties such as additional Move On accommodation for young people.
HR
– In conjunction with the HR Manager ensure the overall HR strategy of YMCA East Surrey is in line with the law, good practice and our values.
– With the HR Manager, oversee the development of internal practices, policies and working culture in line with the overall HR strategy.
Facilities
– To line manage the Facilities Manager and to oversee the introduction and implementation of cyclical maintenance plans for all YMCA buildings.
– To have oversight of the Facilities Manager’s responsibility of all insurances required by the YMCAES.
– Oversight of the management and financial viability of The Old Pheasantry.
Budget and Finance
– To work with the CEO and Head of Finance to prepare the annual budget for central services (including buildings) and to manage this budget throughout the year.

The Ukraine Humanitarian appeal raised £439 million and helped an estimated 6.9 million people in Ukraine and neighbouring countries. The Grants Manager is integral in working closely with DEC colleagues and member charities to build and sustain, a solid understanding of the evolving humanitarian context. The Grants Manager will also lead on oversight of the DEC Ukraine programme including the reporting cycle, adaptive programming and facilitate strong and relevant engagement with DEC member charities and local partners as well as external briefings over the duration of the response.
Key responsibilities:
Communication and Collaboration

Key programmes point of contact regarding the DEC funded programme, responding to enquiries from member charity programmes and other related staff, facilitating timely and accurate communication.

Maintain strong understanding of response context.

Manage and provide timely, response briefings to internal and external audiences, key stakeholders including the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office [FCDO] and, other key stakeholders.
