The Finance Manager role is a newly created role which is being introduced to strengthen the organisation’s financial management and control systems. The postholder will work across the breadth of the finance function preparing internal management accounts and external annual accounts.
In 2024, Cord changed its finance system to use Business Central. The Finance Manager will become the organisation’s main ‘admin’ user of the finance system. In the near-term, there will be a particular focus on rolling out further functionality of the system.

Job Summary
Our new Wellbeing Manager role will complement Cardiomyopathy UKs new Community Engagement Programme, "Thriving Together." This programme promotes equality, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) while leading community development initiatives. The role involves strategising and implementing mental health support services, benefits and welfare support and managing relationships with external freelancers and partners. A key focus of this position is developing and delivering group support sessions within our Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) programme. The main duties for this role are as follows:
1. Provision of mental health support via Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
- Undergo training to become proficient in delivering Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
- Implement ACT sessions in group online formats to support individuals in managing mental health challenges.
- Develop tailored ACT programs that address the specific needs of our community members.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of ACT interventions, adapting approaches as necessary to improve outcomes.

Our Communications Services team is seeking a talented Communications Officer, Social Media and Digital, with a background in sustainable development, science or health communications. The successful applicant will be educated to degree level with at least a 2:1 or 1st class honours degree.
You will need to be creative with the ability to produce social media campaigns, digital content and videos, and lead the development of engaging websites to tell our clients’ stories. What you will do

Your role will include:

- Content creation: you will create social media content and assets, graphics, videos and animations. You will also develop design templates and mock-ups, format presentations and Microsoft Word documents, produce event materials and make website updates.

The Senior Communications Manager is responsible for developing, leading and implementing key aspects of our communications and engagement strategy.
