About the Role
This role provides the opportunity to work across a broad range of projects from powerful interviews with veterans to dynamic campaign content and behind-the-scenes glimpses of our work—you’ll lead the way in bringing our mission to life through film.
As Senior Videographer, you’ll also supervise a videographer in the team—offering guidance and creative leadership to help us deliver high-quality, content across all our channels.
You will be responsible for the development, production, and post-production of all the Charity’s video content.
You will be creating both internal and external-facing video to support marketing, communications and wider charity goals. As part of the content team, you will be consulting with internal clients offering creative guidance and managing projects from conception to filming through to final edit. You will also be expected to collaborate at times with external creative resource.

Purpose of the role
At NEON we believe that organising is crucial if we’re to build the power we need to win a new economy and deepen cross-community solidarity at a time of political polarisation. A central part of our new strategy - and this role - is to support movement organisations and organisers to build their capacity to do what we call Transformative Organising - where we transform the conditions we live in, transform ourselves and transform who has power in society. We use a combination of trainings, 1-2-1 mentoring and strategic partnerships with movement organisations to give organisers the tools, skills and confidence they need to build a base with those at the sharp end of the crisis, develop politically conscious leaders, and plan strategic & escalating campaigns that win. You’ll work with our Head of Organising and colleagues in the Movement Building Hub to scale up this offer over the coming years, with a particular focus on the housing, climate and migration movements, as well as supporting movements to tackle a rising far-right.
What you will be doing

Deliver organising trainings to social movement organisers and campaigners, using content from our Transformative Organising programme and working closely with our Head of Organising and NEON trainers. These will be a mix of shorter workshops and multi-day trainings, blending in-person and online delivery, and you will be supported to experiment with different delivery models to meet movement needs.

Work in partnership with organisers, organisations and coalitions to build their organising capacity over the long-term, through ongoing mentoring and hands-on support and training.

Conduct extensive 1-2-1s with movement organisers, to strengthen relationships, explore opportunities for collaboration and understand movement needs.

Support the development of a network of UK-based organisers, and create spaces for collective learning and ensure NEON’s organising offer meets the needs of organisers on the ground.

Work with the Head of Organising to periodically review and update NEON’s Transformative Organising content, staying responsive to movement needs and incorporating the latest organising practices and tools.

Organise public events on organising topics, including webinars and workshops, bringing together organisers from across social movements

Contribute to the Movement Building Hub’s wider work, including the organising components of our Worker-led Transition programme and our work to build the strategic capacity of movement leaders and organisations. This role will also contribute to cross-organisational work in NEON’s key focus areas (migration, housing, climate, and tackling the rise of the far-right), as well as projects to support the development of NEON’s internal culture.
Who you are

We’re looking for someone with a:

Proven track record of using organising tools and approaches to plan and deliver successful campaigns, with at least 3-5 years of experience. This might include doing base-building, conducting outreach, mapping, organising mass meetings and actions, or integrating political education into campaign planning

About this job
The Office Administrator role is to provide a high level of customer service and support to our service users, supporters, volunteers, groups, members of the public and internal customers. Contributing to overall implementation of the Services and Support and Northern Ireland directorates’ objectives. This will be achieved by ensuring the best possible service user experience for our MS community and by proactively improving processes and ways of working.
Please note this is a part-time job working Monday to Friday from 10am to 3:30pm.

Make a Change
Make a Change is a community-wide, early response approach to people using abusive behaviours (or who are concerned that they might be) towards a current or ex-partner. The model has been developed by Respect in partnership with Women’s Aid Federation England, drawing inspiration from their Change that Lasts approach. It includes three strands: expert support programme for perpetrators with parallel support for survivors, workforce development and community outreach.
Improving the safety, freedom and wellbeing of adult and child survivors of domestic abuse is a key outcome for our work with perpetrators. The Make a Change model is a multi-partner project offering local areas a framework for delivering perpetrator work. Where feasible, we aim to establish partnerships with local survivor domestic abuse service to deliver parallel support for survivors (referred to as Integrated Support Service) as part the expert support strand.
Purpose of the role:
The Senior Communications and Policy Officer will work with the Make a Change team at Respect to advance the development of communication and policy activities for the Make a Change model in project sites and nationally to encourage uptake in new areas. They will also work with Respect’s Communications and Influence leads to ensure alignment with the organisation's broader messaging and advocacy efforts, maximising the impact of Make a Change initiatives. The postholder will lead on developing and implementing communication strategies and plans in partnership with our delivery partners across the sites.

We are looking to recruit a CEO (Director) to support us in an exciting period of growth. Over the next 5 years, we will double our reach and impact. The CEO (Director) will lead us through this transformative period.
Since 2011 Disability Africa has developed a model using playschemes as hubs to deliver essential lifesaving services to extremely vulnerable disabled children and to end their exclusion in low-income African communities. Using this model, we have worked with project partners in Kenya, The Gambia, Sierra Leone and Zambia. 680 disabled children have now attended our projects more than 90,000 times since 2011. Now the charity is planning to grow and expand with our 5-year plan (‘DA2029’) to replicate the Disability Africa Model to reach more disabled children across Africa.
By 2029 we will:
• Start work with at least 4 new partners in Africa (as well as expected growth at our existing projects).
• Deliver 160,000 attendances by at least 1,500 disabled children in 7 African countries.
• Grow and reach as many disabled children as possible - we know we can’t do it all by ourselves - so we will engage other international NGOs to adopt our model of inclusion.

At Endometriosis UK, we are passionate about driving political change for the 1 in 10 women and those assigned female at birth living with endometriosis in the UK. This role will play an instrumental role in supporting the campaigns and policy function within the wider Communications Team.
This will be a busy, varied and important role working closely with the Policy and Public Affairs Manager and Head of Campaigns and Communications to provide administration and wider support for the charity’s growing policy and campaigns function. This will include contributing to the production of government consultation responses, writing letters to politicians, producing background briefings ahead of parliamentary meetings and taking responsibility for political monitoring and informing the team of any engagement opportunities. A key part of the role will also be providing administration support for the policy function of the charity and the Head of Communications and Campaigns, including administrative support for the All-Party-Parliamentary Group on Endometriosis which Endometriosis UK provides secretariat support for. Tasks will include writing minutes, helping produce briefing papers, and booking events and meeting rooms.
You will also be the first point of call for our campaign supporters, and will be aiding our supporters to take campaign actions through the drafting and creation of e-actions using Engaging Networks.

Do you want to work as part of a dynamic and engaging team supporting Young People in Northampton? Due to project expansion, Aquarius Young People’s Substance Misuse team are recruiting for several Complex Needs Practitioners across the city.
Aquarius has been providing structured and targeted interventions to young people engaging in, at risk of substance misuse or affected by parental substance misuse for many years.
You will work on an outreach basis, including visiting schools, colleges & universities, the Children & Families service, the YOT as well as other local community agencies. You will support young people away from engaging in substance misuse or with an understanding of parental substance misuse.
You will provide young people with skills and coping strategies to manage their recovery journey, delivering 1-1 and some group work interventions, targeted outreach to engage 'hard-to-reach' young people and delivery of service talks and substance misuse presentations to enhance external professional workforce development with our partner agencies.
Working hours will be Monday-Friday, 37 hours per week, most work will occur during the day, however as a young people’s service we may occasionally ask you to support out of hours sessional work.
Holding a relevant qualification in substance misuse/youth work/psychology/counselling/ mental health/social care or with relevant experience and willingness to work towards a Level 3 Qualification in Health & Social Care you will also:
- Have experience of working with at risk/vulnerable young people in a community setting
- Be able to deliver behaviour change support, including group work

About the role
The Refugee Council’s services strategy is aimed at delivering high impact, sustainable services that are centred on the needs of people seeking asylum and refugees in the UK, and improving the system of support that they rely on for their safety and future lives in local communities. We seek to significantly improve early access to information, advice and support for people seeking asylum and refugees in crisis and those seeking to integrate into the UK.
In December 2023, with consultancy support, we designed an exciting youth service strategy with a delivery model centred around children’s needs and with the vision for change on how separated children and young people are treated in their asylum journey by creating holistic casework, high quality joined up relationships across the organisation, collaboration with local partners and supporters through learning and sharing best practice to transform their experience and bring systemic change.
The Age Dispute work sits within the Youth Casework team, and we seek to deepen the impact by supporting more children and young people now dispersed across England and who are wrongly age assessed of assumed as over 18 by the Home Office and/or by the local authorities. The age disputes casework adviser will bring expertise to provide specialist casework to challenge incorrect age assessments, use experience to deal and prioritise high risk cases, work with various stakeholders including legal representatives, statutory agencies, and collaborate with others in sector to develop, learn and share best practice resources in casework provision. The postholder will maintain an understanding of the changing practice in relation to age assessments in particular and the wider policy landscape, work with colleagues in the Youth Services and in consultation with the Youth Services Manager, liaise with other relevant Refugee Council teams, including advocacy, practice development, youth involvement, In-Form to use casework evidence to address inequities in policy and practice.
Based within the Youth Services of the Refugee Council, the Age Disputes Casework Adviser will be responsible for:
- Working with children and young people to understand their experiences and needs.
- Working closely with other Age Disputes Casework Advisers and the Youth Services Manager to identify and review high risk and complex cases that need prioritising and create effective internal case triage and allocation systems.
- Liaising with a wide range of stakeholders to ensure that the needs of young people with disputed age are recognised and met.
- Identifying age assessment policy and practice issues impacting on the lives of separated children for possible action via strategic litigation with legal representatives and advocacy colleagues.
- Maintaining expert casework knowledge and understanding of the environment and barriers that separated children seeking asylum face in with regards to the assessment of their age, and issues related to access to high quality information, advice and legal representation on immigration, asylum and welfare, and always learning and sharing the knowledge with others.

HIV Peer Support Worker
About Trade
Trade Sexual Health (Trade for short) is a small health and wellbeing charity based in Leicester. We currently have seven staff and more than 40 volunteers.
Trade began as a grassroots gay community response to HIV in Leicester in the late 1980s. Throughout the 1990s, Trade worked in creative ways to spread information about sexual health and HIV prevention to gay, bisexual and other men who have sex with men in the city (GBMSM).
Trade has been a registered charity since 2000. Over the last 25 years, the core of our work has been focused on improving the sexual health of gay and bisexual men across Leicester, Leicestershire, and Rutland. We have always taken a holistic approach to understanding and addressing the range of issues that might impact on gay and bisexual men’s capacity to look after their sexual health. As a result, we started a counselling service – Approach Counselling – to support community members to improve their mental wellbeing. We now draw on this experience to tackle wider health inequalities in relation to sexual health and HIV, and to provide peer support for anyone living with HIV in the areas where we work. For a small charity, Trade has always ‘punched above its weight’ and we have a national profile for the innovative sexual health work we do.
We currently hold contracts to deliver sexual health promotion and HIV prevention outreach in the City of Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland to LGBTQ+ people, asylum-seekers, and a range of racialised communities that experience significant inequalities in relation to their sexual health.
We have a history of providing peer support to people living with HIV and this is now becoming a growing strand of our work. In addition to the HIV Peer Support contract in Northamptonshire (which this post relates to), we expect to be delivering enhanced HIV peer support across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland.
The primary purpose of this role is to deliver first line peer support to people living with HIV, of all genders and backgrounds, in Northamptonshire. The postholder will spend most of their working week embedded within the HIV clinics in Northampton and Kettering. They will ensure that people who have been recently diagnosed, or are struggling with their diagnosis, and those re-engaging with their HIV care feel supported and have the information they need to live well and thrive with HIV.
The postholder will be responsible for:
· Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team (MDT), bringing their own knowledge and experience to that work.
· Work with a small group of volunteer peer mentors from the clinics to support people living with HIV
· Help recruit new volunteers and ensure that patients needing ongoing peer mentoring are matched to the most suitable volunteer.
· Help people living with HIV to develop self-management strategies, deal with stigma, reduce social isolation and improve their wellbeing.
· Develop a catalogue of services, groups and support in the area where people can be signposted to for further wellbeing support either in addition to or instead of peer mentoring.
· Help people to stay engaged with their HIV treatment and care, improving antiretroviral therapy (ART) adherence, and consequently ensuring ongoing viral suppression.
Job Activities
The post-holder will:
· Normally spend at least one day a week in the HIV clinic at Kettering General Hospital and one day at Northampton General Hospital. Some travel to other sites may be required.
· Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team (MDT) including nursing staff, doctors, clinical psychologists, and pharmacists within the HIV clinics, bringing their own knowledge and experience to that work.
· Triage new patients requiring peer support to understand what specific issues they are facing and the support they need.
· Work with a small group of volunteer peer mentors from the clinics to support people living with HIV. The volunteer peer mentors will be trained and managed by our partner organisation, Northamptonshire Carers, but the postholder will help recruit new volunteers in clinic, ensure that patients needing ongoing peer mentoring are matched to the most suitable volunteer, and help manage booking appointments between mentors and mentees.
· Help people living with HIV to develop self-management strategies, deal with stigma, reduce social isolation and improve their wellbeing.
· Help people to stay engaged with their HIV treatment and care, improving antiretroviral therapy (ART) adherence, and consequently ensuring ongoing viral suppression.
· Refer/signpost people into specialist services such as mental health services, drug and alcohol services, and services offering advice on housing, benefits and immigration issues.
· Support the eight standards listed in the British HIV Association Standards of Care for people living with HIV.
· Follow the National Standards in HIV Peer Support guidance and its four standards.
· Contribute to the development of innovative ways of delivering HIV peer support appropriate to the local context.
· Keep accurate, confidential and secure records of all peer support referrals and interactions.
· Contribute to the compilation of quarterly monitoring reports about our performance for the Integrated Care Board commissioning team for Northamptonshire.

We’re looking for a New Business Officer to join our team, to secure new partnerships that will grow income and take us one step closer to a cure.
This is a 12-month Fixed Term Contract to cover a period of maternity leave.
Main duties and responsibilities of the role:
Identify and build strategic relationships to generate income from new corporate supporters.
· A focused and strategic approach to identifying, researching, and targeting prospective corporate partners.
· Work closely with Corporate Partnerships Manager (CPM) to deliver our successful new business strategy.
