The Head of Central Services is a brand-new senior role that has been created to give a higher profile to, and enhance the importance of governance, H&S, Safeguarding and compliance across The Brick.
Key elements of the role include:
· Drive a culture of compliance at The Brick by raising the profile of safeguarding, property standards and health and safety, by sharing the positive impact of compliance work, and by clearly communicating the risks of non-compliance.
· Support the Board, the Chief Executive and Operations Director in fulfilling their responsibilities for the proper governance of the charity, and compliance with relevant regulatory authorities and standards, including Property Compliance, H&S, GDPR and Safeguarding
· Be the primary interface with key regulators and contractors including the Regulator of Social Housing and closely manage the relationship with each to ensure that The Brick remains in line with their existing requirements and is able to plan effectively for upcoming changes.
· Deliver a comprehensive health, safety and quality programme which meets The Brick’s legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations, particularly in the key risk areas, for example, safeguarding, health and safety, and accident and incident management.
· Ensure that The Brick has appropriate measures in place to safeguard the people we work with (who often have complex needs and vulnerabilities) and responds to feedback and complaints from clients, puts things right where we have got them wrong, and we learn the lessons for the future.
· Lead the organisation’s strategic and operational approach to risk management and mitigation and lead the organisation’s business continuity planning.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Education team in the Diocese of Chester in this newly formed role, managing the DBE’s financial operations and overseeing its legal work and schools’ capital projects.
The Finance and Operations Officer will be a key member of the Diocesan Education team, responsible for the financial management and operations of the company. This also incorporates overseeing legal matters, liaising with the DBE’s lawyers, and working with our partner company on school capital projects.

What you’ll be doing
As Senior Digital Communications Coordinator, you’ll be delivering our digital communication strategy by coordinating the organisation's creative digital content and analysing the impact of our digital communications to increase our impact as a campaigning organisation.
We are looking for someone who can create digital content, implement new and creative approaches to digital communications and analyse impact.
Your key responsibilities will include:

Coordinating the development and delivery of impactful digital communications plans for work across River Action’s Campaigns, Communities, Legal and Fundraising teams.

Job Summary
Community Mental Health Transformation is part of a long-term plan to improve mental health services. Big Life group has commissioned Gaddum to support the development of the lived experience input in a key system change project for the improvement people’s experiences of services. Greater Manchester’s Co-Occurring Conditions project is centred on those who have concurrent mental health and substance use challenges.
Job Purpose
To support the development of lived experience engagement within the co-occurring conditions workstream. You will support people with lived experience to attend and contribute to design and testing session of services and systems.
You will work with the GM Co-Occurring Conditions Team and wider partners across GM to ensure lived experience is at the heart of mental health services in Greater Manchester.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
1. Support people with lived experience to engage with the Co-Occurring Conditions workstream.
2. Attendance at events and publicising the programme.
3. Organising and ensuring involvement at Co-occurring Conditions meetings.
4. Developing community interest Representation across Coproduction internally and building opportunities across community led groups and peer groups.
5. Developing Lived Experience activities to encourage collaboration, information sharing and opportunities.
6. Identify and, wherever possible, remove barriers to panel member participation including but not limited to travel, childcare, carer responsibilities and translation costs.
7. Work collaboratively with other coproduction leads across Gaddum.
8. Manage the recruitment specific additional members for each of these opportunities, depending on the theme of the event.
9. Ensure that Lived Experience members, whether from the core group or single invitees, are properly off boarded.
10.Maintain records and data and to provide regular monitoring reports and outcomes, including end of project evaluation report.

About the Role
As Young People Support Worker you will work as a member of a services team in Warrington, delivering an assessment, support and move on service to vulnerable clients in supported accommodation. Your work will be underpinned by the charity’s Endeavour model of assets based, psychologically informed delivery, the aim of which is to ensure that every client leaves the service with the skills and resilience to be confident and self-determining in their lives.
Under the guidance of a Service Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of support planning, risk assessment and move-on for a caseload of young people, addressing their physical, emotional, social and behavioural needs and supporting them to progress towards independence. You will participate in a programme of meaningful activity by running group sessions and activities within the accommodation to support young people’s individual development and social engagement. You will ensure the accommodation is properly maintained and take an active role in the upkeep of the physical spaces of the accommodation.
You will work a rolling rota of daytimes, evenings and weekends (some shifts will be lone working) including bank holidays to ensure that young people have full staff support during their most difficult times.
Key responsibilities include:
· Ensure client safety, wellbeing, and adherence to safeguarding and emergency procedures.
· Deliver high-quality risk assessments, support plans, and one-to-one/group support to build client resilience.
· Foster partnerships with local agencies to support clients while following data protection protocols.
· Engage flexibly and creatively with clients, encouraging their involvement in decisions and participation in activities.
· Support clients in accessing education, training, employment, and volunteering opportunities.

Working as part of Signpost Stockport for Carers’ team to provide high quality support to unpaid carers. Working in partnership with Age UK Stockport’s Hospital Discharge Support team to contribute to, and in close collaboration with, the NHS Integrated Care Business staff team and other partners and stakeholders within the system.
To work positively to provide appropriate services to the unpaid carers of those Stockport residents who are being discharged from Hospital. The role is focused on working with carers, within their homes or other setting(s) that is appropriate and convenient for the carer, to ensure that they have the information and support they need when the person for whom they care is discharged, not only in that moment but for up to six weeks following that discharge.
The Hospital Discharge Community Carer Support Worker will need to demonstrate alignment with our organisation’s values:

About the Role
As Senior Young People Support Worker you will be responsible for the safety and wellbeing of all clients aged 18-25 years, volunteers, visitors and staff in the service. You will lead on ensuring that the housing management across both sites is properly maintained and the service supports clients to sustain their tenancy agreement, develop skills and resilience, and participate in positive and successful move on.

About the role
An experienced advocate with a sound understanding of the UK political system and legislative process, the Policy and Advocacy Specialist will be responsible for leading on Animal Equality’s life-saving legal advocacy campaigns on behalf of farmed animals.
Working as part of a highly effective team, within a fast-paced environment, the Policy and Advocacy Specialist will develop and implement advocacy strategies that influence public policy with a goal to advance Animal Equality UK’s mission: to end the exploitation of farmed animals.
An excellent communicator, with an ability to convey complex information in a digestible way, the Policy and Advocacy Specialist will be a professional with a proven track record of policy programme delivery. The role involves engaging with policymakers, building relationships with coalition partners, overseeing public affairs initiatives, and influencing Government policy to create meaningful changes for farmed animals.

- Contribute to the organisation’s policy programmes: Garner reliable intel, conduct in-depth research, and carry out robust data analysis to inform Animal Equality UK’s ongoing policy and advocacy efforts for animals.
