The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced grants fundraiser to join CSW to use their skills to help people who are harassed and persecuted for their beliefs. You will play a key role in generating sustainable income for our work through securing grants from charitable trusts, foundations and institutions.

- Research and identify new sources of funding to grow pipeline of prospective trusts, foundations and institutions
- Write high-quality, compelling applications and bespoke funding proposals to secure grants

About the role
This role is at the heart of the Individual Giving team, delivering dynamic direct marketing and digital fundraising campaigns to recruit the next generation of Christian Aid supporters. You'll be involved in organisation-wide campaigns like Christian Aid Week and emergency appeals, our most powerful moments of the year for bringing in new leads and supporters. Role Summary
The Programme Manager Speke role is responsible for managing the day-to-day delivery of the Discovery project for Speke, Liverpool. You will be working closely with a number of public sector, education sector and third sector agencies serving low-income communities. You will support these groups and the Right to Succeed programme team to build a detailed picture of the assets and challenges in the Speke community, co-design a long-term delivery programme that improves outcomes for children and young people, and set up the structures and processes required for a successful Delivery start.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an innovative programme that’s having a significant impact on children’s outcomes across the Liverpool city region. We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about making a difference for children and young people and is curious about how we can work differently across sectors to achieve this.
You will be instrumental in helping local organisations and services to develop collaboration, shared approaches and a common vision around meeting the needs of children and families deemed most at risk, using your strong organisational, relational and programme management skills to ensure the programme is on track to meet its milestones, is sensitive and responsive to the needs of the local community, and is able to make a tangible difference to the lives of children, young people and their families.
Key Objectives of this role:
You will work with the Programme Director, programme team and wider Right to Succeed team to ensure the delivery of an effective Discovery programme, including preparation and mobilisation for our Delivery work:
- Support the identification of key stakeholders relevant to the local area and programme, and take a leading role in developing and maintaining relationships of trust and influence.
- Support the identification of key areas of strength and need within the current local provision for children and young people, using a range of research tools and both qualitative and quantitative data.
- Facilitate meaningful discussion and a collective impact approach between service providers, education providers and local agencies, using a range of creative approaches including workshops and consultations.
- Coordinate the meaningful engagement of residents and young people in the project, building on the knowledge and relationships developed by local organisations and community groups.
- Support the identification of training and development needs in relation to the project and liaise effectively with local and national partners to build the capacity of professionals.
- Coordinate and contribute to the creation and dissemination of a Discovery report which summarises the findings and collective action of the Discovery process in Speke.
- Support the creation of a detailed programme delivery plan which responds to the needs identified during Discovery and which has been co-designed with local stakeholders.
- Help local partners to reflect on the learning gained through this work and spread that learning throughout their agencies and across the project to multi-agency colleagues.
- Support local partners and the programme team to transition from Discovery into Delivery, ensuring the relevant governance structures, contracts, milestones and activities are in place for the programme start.
- If or when required, provide line manager support to a Programme Officer, supporting them to carry out their role effectively.

Support the wider team to:
- Identify partnerships that could lead to further funding for the charity’s work in this area.
- Understand the opportunities to replicate and scale the programme and ensure that the processes and procedures behind the programme support this.
- Work collaboratively with internal Right to Succeed teams in order to enhance organisational learning and improve future practice and programme design.
- Support robust and efficient feedback and reporting mechanisms to funders and trustees.
- Work more collectively with other areas of the organisation, through the early identification and communication of potential opportunities for collaboration.

Travel
This role will require significant local travel between schools and other agencies in the Liverpool and wider Merseyside area and occasional travel to Right to Succeed’s Manchester and Liverpool offices. As a senior member of the Public and Political Engagement team, the Advocacy and Engagement Manager will work closely with our Research and Operations teams, and partners across Africa, Asia and South America. They will engage with decision makers in government, business, financial institutions, multi-lateral and network organisations, local and international NGOs, and the media, to advance evidence-based solutions to the conjoined global crises of water, climate, nature and inequality.
In particular, they will play a key role in our Fair Water Footprints Campaign and the wider delivery of the Glasgow Declaration for Fair Water Footprints. With new funding from the UK Government’s Just Transitions for Water Security Programme, these game changing initiatives seek to end the abuse of water in our supply chains, and to establish responsible water stewardship as the global business norm by 2030 so that trade and business accelerate, rather than undermine, shared water security. This will be achieved through mobilising the power of scientific evidence and citizen voices to trigger change in government policies, corporate practices, financial disclosure, and political and public expectations. The choreography and delivery of this change will be a core focus of the successful candidate’s work.
This role will involve travel within the UK and internationally, including in Africa and South America, and would suit an exceptional communicator who is fluent in the technical and policy aspects of water and climate justice, and who has several years of demonstrable experience in using advocacy, communications, and stakeholder engagement to drive change. About the role:

The Philanthropy Team, as a key function of Advancement, will play a vital role in enabling the Museum's vision for the future. As such, the team is expanding, with new roles created to accommodate priority projects including a major acquisition campaign, capital and increased revenue targets for exhibitions and core work.
Key areas of responsibility:
The Associate Head of Philanthropy: Individuals will be responsible for:

What you’ll do
As Assistant Head of Fundraising (DISE), you will provide strategic leadership to a multidisciplinary team, overseeing Database Management, Analysis and Insight, and ensuring excellent Supporter Experience, you will develop and implement team strategies that align with the charity’s fundraising and supporter engagement goals, ensuring collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
You will drive exceptional supporter care, ensuring donor interactions are managed professionally and empathetically. By implementing engagement strategies and monitoring supporter satisfaction, you will foster long-term relationships and enhance the overall supporter experience.
Overseeing the Raiser’s Edge NXT platform, you will ensure data accuracy, compliance with UKGDPR and PECR regulations, and integration with third-party platforms. You will optimise database processes, including income reconciliation, Gift Aid processing, and supporter segmentation, ensuring the efficient extraction of appeal and marketing data.
With a focus on data analytics, you will oversee the development of dashboards, KPI reports, and predictive models to drive decision-making. Your insights will support fundraising strategy, campaign performance analysis, and the adoption of data-driven approaches across the organisation.
Additionally, you will manage supplier relationships, ensure compliance with fundraising regulations, and develop risk management policies, collaborating closely with internal teams to support operational excellence.

About this job
This role will coordinate our Breathing Space project in Wales, which supports unpaid carers who support people living with MS to access short breaks. We are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced individual who loves working on short-term funded projects and who also loves working directly with the people we support and our volunteers. The ability to communicate to a wide range of audiences and deliver our project objectives will be essential for this role.
Working closely with people affected by MS, Key external partners, the Service and Support Team, the Cymru Director, and the wider MS Society teams. You will be outcome-focused and deliver tangible results. You will need to forge strong partnerships with key stakeholders and represent the MS Society at key meetings and events in the area relating to promoting the project to carers.
This role can be based anywhere in Wales but there will be occasional expectation of travel throughout Wales.
This is a part-time (21 hours) fixed-term role until 28th November 2025 with the possibility of an extension to March 2026.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this role.
