Main purpose of post
This is a senior role in the fundraising team which is responsible for identifying, developing, and converting opportunities to generate income to achieve Weston Park Cancer Charity’s strategy. This role will lead on and manage income generation through corporate organisations and carries an income target aligned to the grade of the post holder.
You will be expected to understand Weston Park Cancer Charity’s unique offer, the needs and priorities of our corporate partners and be capable of taking our propositions and clearly shaping them to create mutual value for the communities we support and our partners.
Key Responsibilities
· Responsible for an income target of which aligns with the grade of the post and delivers income growth through gifts from corporates, workplace fundraising and public facing corporate donations.
· Develop and implement a comprehensive corporate partnership strategy which is data driven and demonstrates good ROI.
· Develop and deliver concepts and ideas, from early discussion through to detailed proposals, working with colleagues across the charity.
· Lead on the successful growth in sponsorship of our key programmes such as Big Purple Bus and Grant-Giving for cancer research and other initiatives.
· Write detailed, accurate and compelling bids and proposals that clearly articulate how Weston Park Cancer Charity are the preferred choice to meet the partner and project objectives for Charity of the Year or long-term strategic partnerships.
· Work with our events team to promote opportunities for corporate partners to support the annual events programme e.g. tables at events , team challenge events
· Succinctly communicate the impact of our work, ensuring it inspires and clearly matches the requirements of potential corporate partners and major donors.
· Be a key interface for external corporate enquiries and act as our external ambassador, undertaking significant networking across the region and
· representing the charity at key meetings and events involving high-value stakeholders.
· Be responsible for the account management of all partnerships and provide excellent relationship management.
· Ensure that the resource and capability exist to deliver partner/funder requirements and proactively identify and seek to fill any gaps.
· Ensure we collect detailed feedback and participate in continuous feedback with so that we learn from experience and effectively evaluate both successful and unsuccessful funding proposals and initiatives.
· Develop and maintain a prospect pipeline that is realistically capable of meeting agreed income targets and reflects both the strategic priorities of Weston Park Cancer Chairty and the external funding priorities of our corporate partners
· Drive the acquisition of new high-value donors and funders.
· Hold direct responsibility for the corporate budget and income target.
· Maximise Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) opportunities, work place fundraising and volunteering, and Gifts in Kind.
· Lead on our Patrons’ network, ensuring Patrons are supported and engaged in the work of the charity, growing the network as appropriate.

About the package and benefits
- Salary range: £35,000 - £42,000 (pro-rata)
- Location: We’re a national organisation with an office in London. All of our team work in a hybrid way, which varies depending on role and location. This role requires at least 1 day per week/fortnight in the office during the induction period. Beyond that, you are required to come to London at least once every 6 weeks.
- Working hours: preference is 22.5 hours per week, open to exploring flexible working requests that match organisational needs with personal needs/preferences

Terms
The role will be based in our office in Eastcote for 3 days per week, with the possibility for home working for the remainder of the time.
Salary: c. £41k FTE. Note the salary listed is a full time equivalent salary based on 35hrs per week, so actual salary will vary depending on hours agreed.

Job Summary
CAAS provide an ADHD and Autism Support Service for the 8 boroughs of NW London, from our base in Eastcote, with a team of Support Workers. Our work includes offering information, advice, and support to ADHD / autistic people, their families, and professionals in NW London, with the aim of improving quality of life and developing neurodiverse-aware communities. Some of the support is offered through one2one meetings, some of the support is provided through groups and courses which aim to increase understanding and awareness, and provide opportunities for peer support, and some of the support is offered through training and workshops to educate professionals and drive for accommodations to be made to services to allow greater access for our client group.
As Finance Manager you will report to and work closely with the Finance Director and have responsibility for the operational delivery of the finance, resource, monitoring, HR and contracting work streams within the charity. The role sits within the management group at CAAS, alongside the Youth, Adult and Family Service managers and the Client Programmes Director and manages the Finance and Monitoring Assistant and the Office Assistant.
The Finance Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the infrastructure and operational delivery at the charity are effective for the more than 30 staff we employ, and the more than 11,000 instances of support we provide each year. Therefore, we are looking for a capable, calm, self-motivated, organised and hard-working accountant who is looking to move into a senior finance role, from any commercial, statutory or charitable background.
The role requires strong organisation skills, excellent communication skills, experience of management accounting and reporting, and an understanding of HR and payroll operations. You will ideally have some line management or project management experience to draw on in this role. Ultimately you will have the drive to ensure that everyone who works for us, and everyone who seeks support from us, has the best possible experience.
There is no requirement for any experience of, or understanding of ADHD / autistic individuals, as we will provide training on the conditions. A genuine acceptance of diversity and a keenness to make an impact are essential.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning, Management and Reporting
· Prepare accurate, timely and well controlled and documented monthly and quarterly accounts. Share the outcomes of your reviews with the Finance Director, and ensure the accounts are reported in an meaningful way.
· Support in the preparation of Trustee reporting
· Support in the preparation and audit of the annual statutory accounts.
· Support with the annual budget and periodic reforecast processes to ensure the timely and appropriate provision of information to facilitate necessary adjustments to operational activity and appropriate decision making around cash investments.
· Ensure processes and procedures are carried out on a timely and effective basis to ensure financial policies and procedures are adhered to, and any control weaknesses mitigated and improvement plans in place
· Maintain records to ensure accurate restricted and unrestricted fund allocation.
· Be accountable for operating effective controls and oversight regarding contracts with freelancers, volunteers or other suppliers
· Deliver all day-to-day finance and cash management operations, scheduling, tracking and fulfilling invoices and payments, providing accurate bookkeeping, approving payment runs and reconciled balance sheets, detailed records re credit card and other payment platforms, and generally work to use and improve the financial systems in place to ensure the charity’s overall stability and sustainability.
· Review and update funder schedule allocations, ensuring invoices raised on time and costs allocated correctly.
· Review and approve Customer and Supplier invoices, review of month end information from finance team. Creation and posting of month end journals, reviewing the month end accounts to budget and analysing any discrepancies.
· Supporting the Finance Director and CEO on adhoc reports or analysis
· As a member of the management group participate in cross team working meetings and management meetings, and build relationships with the other members of the management group such that you become an integral support resource to them as they deliver for our clients.
Resource & IT Management
· Hold responsibility for arranging and maintaining the charity IT and phone hardware and software
· Act as first line IT support for charity staff
· Hold the relationship with the external IT provider and liaise to ensure appropriate on and off boarding and security arrangements.
· Manage our internal personnel and H&S support programmes, such as our EAP provider, our training providers and our office maintenance systems.
· Maintain the charity asset register, and complete the necessary operational tasks to ensure the charity is appropriately resourced to provide effective infrastructure backdrop for our staff.
Monitoring Management, Reporting and Impact Evaluation
· Carry out the necessary regular reviews and support so that our CRM records are complete and accurate in respect of work performed, and prepare and distribute monthly, quarterly and annual monitoring reports internally.
· Prepare monitoring reports for funders on quarterly basis as and when required
· Ensure best practice in monitoring collection and evaluation, including managing GDPR processes, creating appropriate forms, and communicating deadlines and requirements to all staff.
· Operate as the internal first line of support for our CRM system and consequent monitoring reporting tools, to ensure they are accurate, regularly reviewed and procedures documented and continuously improved.
· Prepare impact and distance travelled statistics for our external communications, to support our fundraising efforts.
HR and Payroll Operations
· Deliver on the necessary onboarding and offboarding processes for staff, including complying with on our safer recruitment requirements, creating contracts and contract variation letters, supporting staff with timesheets and other records of work, carrying out pension operations and supporting with interview arrangements.
· Carry out the delivery of the monthly payroll process, including preparation and review of the payroll files, carrying out calculations around overtime pay etc, providing an accurate and well controlled process, and enabling payments to be made on the pay date each month. Processing the payroll journals on a monthly basis

Ambitious Impact (AIM) is a growing nonprofit organisation running training and incubation programs aimed at establishing and supporting a flourishing high-impact, effectiveness-focused philanthropic ecosystem, with a lively community office in East London.
We are looking for a talented Communication and Marketing Manager to join our Recruitment team to increase the quality of AIM’s communication, and our identification of exceptional talent to join our high-impact training programs. In this role, you will create, execute, and evaluate multi-channel marketing and communications strategies and continuously evaluate and improve them for the next iteration.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Recruitment team currently consists of ~three FTE and fulfils the two key functions of attracting and selecting top candidates for our Charity Entrepreneurship incubation program - as well as possible support for other programs AIM runs or may run. As such, there are two 3-4 month sprints each year that are very execution focused for identifying and then selecting top candidates. The recruitment team also carries out broader communications work for AIM, such as by supporting AIM’s Impactful Grantmaking Program, on outreach for staff roles at AIM, and helping our incubated charities with their initial communications.
As Communication and Marketing Manager, you will chiefly be responsible for the attracting function on the team, presenting AIM’s work in a consistently high fidelity, compelling, and engaging manner. You’ll bring a strong focus on implementation, efficiency, and strategic improvement to help us maximise the value of AIM’s communication efforts.
The role could be more junior or more senior depending on the successful candidate: A more experienced hire will take more of a lead on designing the strategy they will execute, while a more junior hire will focus more on contributing to and learning strategic planning for the tasks they will execute at first.

APPLICATION PROCESS
Our application processes aim to be highly predictive, time-effective, and informative for you. In addition to being a major provider of public and private funding and a vocal actor on issues of international policy, it is a source, transit and destination point for illegally traded wildlife. Working under the direction of the Director Policy & Advocacy Europe, the Sr. Program Officer will be responsible for the implementation of IFAW’s global programmatic strategies in the UK region. Consolidating and building on previous progress, the focus will be primarily on combatting wildlife crime, engaging relevant national stakeholders across policy, enforcement, civil society, private sector, and academic sectors.
The Sr. Program Officer will work collaboratively with global staff to ensure alignment with IFAW program priorities, leveraging IFAW’s networks and expertise worldwide to achieve success.
The ideal candidate will be a self-starter able to deliver under their own initiative while balancing the need to work within an international team, ideally with experience in a government department or agency, or a non-profit organization, preferably within a global structure.
With a strong background in program delivery, policy development and a good understanding of influencing and delivering change within parliamentary and government processes, this candidate will be articulate and politically aware and able to build out effective engagement strategies. With policy-makers, enforcement authorities and other stakeholders.
The role is permanent and full-time; and will be based in the UK and subject to IFAW’s policies on remote/hybrid work arrangements.
Role and Responsibilities
· Work collaboratively with UK and global staff to deliver IFAW’s global program goals in the UK, with an initial focus on IFAW’s wildlife crime program.
· Develop the strategy and operational plans for policy advocacy, program implementation and research within the framework of IFAW’s global programs and policies, ensuring that budgets, targets, and performance indicators are set and work monitored, evaluated, and reported effectively within the organisation’s reporting mechanisms.
· Proactively identify, assess, and respond to all relevant developments within public policy, capitalizing upon opportunities to push IFAW’s priority policy calls and achieve positive changes in policy and legislation, ensuring IFAWs global policies and approaches to conservation and animal rescue are represented adequately in UK politics and key institutions.
· Build and maintain relationships with policymakers and stakeholders in law enforcement, academia, private sector (where relevant) and civil society organisations.
· Support the IFAW’s fundraising teams, when relevant, with the development of the UKs institutional grant funding portfolios and major giving opportunities, including developing pitches and undertaking face-to-face meetings with potential supporters.
· Work with the UK communications team to support media strategies around IFAW’s programmatic work, acting as a media spokesperson where appropriate.
· Manage budgets relating to programmatic activities.
· Ensure effective internal communication on UK program implementation and successes.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
· At least 5 years of relevant experience, in areas such as nonprofit management, wildlife conservation, policy development and advocacy, project and financial management, stakeholder engagement.
· Demonstrated experience of successful political engagement on difficult issues, with a track record of skillfully navigating parliamentary structures and government decision-making to achieve political or governmental support.
· Strong network of political and governmental contacts and knowledge of policy and legislation development within the UK.
· Good knowledge of what wildlife crime entails, and who the key actors are that aim to combat wildlife crime, is highly desired. Specific expertise in wildlife cyber-enabled crime a bonus. Strong knowledge of species identification and CITES are a bonus as is experience in issues around transparency and tackling corruption.
· Proven track record of program delivery, working within dispersed and multidisciplinary teams. Experience of working in a global organisation, within a matrix model is preferable. Experience of commissioning research or working with academic institutions a plus.
· A resourceful problem-solver, with strong critical thinking skills. Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment, prioritize tasks, and work well under pressure.
· Proven ability to work effectively through networks and coalitions to achieve change and to communicate constructively with partners and funders and fulfill their reporting requirements.
· Culturally sensitive, proven record of accomplishment of working with diverse, multi-cultural teams. Effective communication skills, including listening skills.
· Experience of public speaking to reach a diverse range of audiences and/or being a media spokesperson,
