Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead Learning on Screen’s digital development team. To date the vast majority of all marketing has been done by one person (our CEO) though increasingly we recognise the need for greater focus on a coherent look and feel, for a fresh voice and to respond to increased internal demand. This new role has been created to ensure continued cost and resource efficiency as we grow whilst meeting these needs.

This role encompasses four areas. In all instances this individual will work closely with respective internal teams to ensure a full understanding of the opportunity and any specific requirements. We will also ensure that over time, a comms calendar can be developed that minimises last minute requests and affords the longest planning window for all activity.

1. Development of campaign materials
2. Development and management of creative resources that are used ongoing
3. Oversight and development of our wider comms platforms and key messaging
4. Oversight and management of all creative assets

You should be a strong ‘all-rounder’. You will have excellent consumer and B2B copywriting skills, should have a creative mindset and an aptitude for campaign-oriented design (making use of software such as Canva). You should be well organised and able to ensure synergies across our various platforms, campaigns and audiences.

You will need to influence across the charity, should have good interpersonal and collaborative skills and be comfortable in working with individuals across the organisation and externally. You will benefit from very good prioritisation and decision making skills. Due to the broad scope of this role and the nature of our work you should be flexible, able to respond to needs as they arise, manage multiple tasks and manage priorities.

This role will be well supported by all members of the team but will need to support the marketing function end to end. You will need to be comfortable with concept development, taking this forward to final product and then on to production. Many of our marketing requirements rely on digital platforms and so an understanding of this medium and of social media messaging will be key.

As a Youth & Mentor Facilitator, you will play a crucial role in creating safe and engaging environments for young people to learn, grow, and thrive. Your responsibilities include leading BelEve workshops, activities, and discussions that promote skill development, personal growth, and positive social interaction among young people within our community.

Reporting to the Programme Officer you will serve as a mentor and role model, offering guidance, support, and encouragement to help young people navigate challenges and reach their full potential. Additionally, you will collaborate with colleagues, community partners, and stakeholders to design and implement effective programmes that address the unique needs and interests of the youth demographic. 1. Facilitate BelEve Programmes

2. Engaging Youth Participants

Able to foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment where girls feel empowered to express themselves and build positive relationships.

4. Mentoring

Keen advocate in mentoring youth participants. Build positive relationships with youth participants, providing guidance, support, and advocacy.

5. Developing BelEve Programme Content

Collaborate with other staff members to develop programme content and curriculum that aligns with the needs and interests of the youth demographic.

Adapt materials and activities to suit different age groups and learning styles.

6. Implementing BelEve Safeguarding Policy

Enforce and implement Safeguarding across all BelEve programmes to ensure the safety and well-being of all participants. Address any behavioural issues or conflicts that arise in a fair and respectful manner.

7. Building Relationships

Establish positive relationships with the young people within our community, their families, and the wider community. Foster trust and rapport to create a supportive network for young people.

8. Report & Evaluation of BelEve Programmes

Assess the impact and effectiveness of our programmes through participant feedback, observation, and evaluation metrics. Use this information to make improvements and adjustments as necessary.

9. Collaborating with Stakeholders

Work closely with other youth workers, volunteers, partner organisations, schools, and community leaders to coordinate activities and resources for youth development.

10. Maintaining Records

Maintain clear & concise session notes, keep accurate records of programme attendance, participant demographics, and any incidents or concerns that arise. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and reporting requirements.

11. Professional Development

Stay informed about best practices, trends, and developments in youth work and related fields. Seek out opportunities for professional development and training to enhance skills and knowledge.

12. Advocacy

Support and advocate for the needs and rights of young people within BelEve and the broader community. Raise awareness about issues affecting youth and work towards positive change.

13. Administrative Tasks

Perform administrative duties such as impact studies, end of programme reports as needed to support the smooth operation of our programmes.

About SCEC

SCEC was founded over twenty years ago to provide learning enrichment opportunities to primary school children in disadvantaged communities in south London. Together with our partners, several leading independent schools, we currently operate four schemes in math, literacy, science and art. Children learn through fun, engaging group activities like science experiments, storytelling and mathematical treasure hunts, all taught by qualified teachers with added support from student mentors. Through the schemes, children explore their curiosity, build knowledge and develop their confidence as learners.

Your Role

The Scheme Director is a newly created role that will be pivotal in helping SCEC extend its reach. Reporting to the Board of Trustees, you will help SCEC design and implement an expansion programme as well as coordinating the delivery of the existing schemes via our school partners. You will also serve as a trusted partner to the Board in the administration of the charity.

Similar to a COO, this role straddles the operational and the strategic. We are looking for a confident communicator and relationship builder who can work across varied stakeholder groups.  You should be able to grasp the big picture and have an eye for the details needed to deliver successful outcomes. Westway Trust is a community-guided organisation located in North Kensington which runs an adult learning programme of accredited and non-accredited provision across a range of subjects. The Role

There are over 60 million working donkeys and mules in the world, but millions are being killed every year for the inhumane donkey skin trade, leading the African Union to announce plans for a moratorium on donkey slaughter and the development of a strategy for working animals across the continent. This huge opportunity is just one way that charity and its advocacy work can change the world for donkeys and mules, giving them the protection they need and the health and welfare they deserve.

As Head of Advocacy, you will work in partnership with the Director of Advocacy & Campaigns, the CEO and other Senior Management to deliver the organisational strategy by developing inspiring advocacy plans based on clear strategy, integrated with other departments of the organisation.

Your principal duties and responsibilities will include:

• Working with the Director of Advocacy and Campaigns to design and implement an advocacy strategy to effect lasting change for donkeys and mules in line with our organisational aims.
• Building and developing networks of key stakeholders to achieve genuine change and lasting impact on the welfare of donkeys and mules.
• Representing the organisation at key stakeholder engagements, strategic high level forums and in the media, as appropriate.
• Functionally lead advocacy through the creation of a global advocacy strategy that supports teams to deliver high quality and consistent advocacy.
• Working closely with other departments to ensure advocacy integrates with other streams of the sanctuary’s work and ensure the organisation has the support and infrastructure to deliver excellent advocacy outcomes.
• Supporting advocacy needs both in team and organisationally when responding to events that are unexpected or unplanned.
•  Overall responsibility for the work, financial budget and planning of the advocacy team and line manage posts in the department, as agreed with the Director.

Here at the IOP we are looking for a Senior Data Analyst for a fixed period of 18 months to support us in our mission. 

What will I be doing?  

• Collecting and analysing data from a wide range of sources.

• Developing processes governing what data is collected, and how it is stored, arranged, integrated, and used; ensuring adherence to best practice in data security. 

• Developing effective taxonomies to interrogate data. 

• Designing and refining complex data workflows- primarily in Python- for project and programme work. 

• Creating static and interactive data visualisations. 

• Working with colleagues from across the organisation, as well as IOP members and partner organisations, to help design data and evidence driven approaches to key projects and activities. 

• Drawing out insights for programmes, projects, using data science techniques. 

• Providing cross-organisation technical expertise in data. 

Ideally, we hope you’ll apply if your skills include:  

Essential Criteria  

• A degree in a numerate subject or equivalent 

• Data analysis skills obtained through educational programs or equivalent experience- particularly in statistical and machine learning techniques. 

• Programming skills obtained through educational programmes or experience- preferably in python. 

• Experience designing efficiently coded data pipelines to allow for analysis of datasets. 

• Experience analysing structured/unstructured datasets, detecting issues & providing solutions. 

• Experience interpreting and presenting data for reporting and interactive visualisations. 

• An ability to communicate technical information clearly to a non-technical audience. 

• Experience of measuring and reporting back on project targets and success criteria. 

• The ability to work co-operatively with others to achieve common goals; the confidence to listen and understand. 

• The ability to work with low supervision, prioritise workload, and handle multiple tasks to a high standard and within deadlines 

Nice to have  

• An understanding of the science research and funding landscape in the UK and Ireland. 

• Data visualisation experience in Power BI & Tableau 

• Familiarity with Github 

• Understanding of cloud computing techniques 

• Influencing skills – the ability to bring others to your way of thinking diplomatically 

• Project management experience

We are looking for a Research Manager to lead design and delivery of RBL’s research into the needs and experiences of the armed forces community.

Reporting into our Head of Policy & Research, this role will see you work with colleagues and the sector to ensure the best possible evidence is used to inform future policy, campaigns, and service delivery. You will design and deliver a research strategy which maximises impact and value for money, and ensures RBL is at the forefront of research into the needs and experiences of the armed forces community.

Key responsibilities will include:

· Design and deliver a range of research and analysis activities, making use of a range of qualitative and quantitative methods

· Ensure robust research findings are used to inform RBL’s policy positions and campaigns

· Line manage the Research Officer, enabling them to develop skills and experiences to maximise their impact in their role

· Establish a strong network of research professionals and decision-makers in the Armed Forces sector and beyond, to ensure we can learn from latest findings and innovation, share our work, and maximise opportunities for collaboration

Here at Peabody, we have an opportunity for a Scheme Manager on a Permanent basis at one of our sheltered housing schemes in Acton. 

We work hard to ensure we are providing for people whose needs have evolved as they’ve grown older.

We own and manage specialist homes for older people. These homes are designed to help them maintain, and in some cases increase, their independence.

We also have a wide programme of services and activities to help them connect with their community and lead richer lives.

Our scheme in Acton consists of 52 flats, has a large communal area with kitchen and a large garden.  Our residents want to live independently with reassurance that there is help at hand should they need it!

As a Scheme Manager, you are personable, passionate and will flourish working with our older residents who may have complex needs or are vulnerable because of their health or physical disabilities.

What we’re looking for:

• Do you have experience of providing support to vulnerable adults?
• Do you have a housing management background or previous supported housing experience where you have delivered good customer care?
• Do you understand safeguarding and the importance of keeping accurate records?

A bit about the role:

As a Scheme Manager (part time), you will share responsibility for the day-to-day housing management and services provided at these schemes. 

You will share responsibility of managing the estate and monitor the services provided by others such as cleaners, contractors, or other stakeholders within Peabody.

Some of the key results include.

• You will ensure the scheme meets all statutory requirements in terms of health and safety (including fire safety).
• You will be responsible for resident satisfaction and ensure they feel safe, secure and respected. 
• You will identify and assess residents needs to ensure they have the right level of support.
• You will report repairs and maintenance.
• You will work with other scheme managers across the service and provide cover if required.

This role will require an Enhanced DBS check, a UK driver’s licence, and access to a vehicle.

A typical week will involve working 17.5 hours per week, three days (these can be flexible) 7 hours each day.
