Job Summary
Community Mental Health Transformation is part of a long-term plan to improve mental health services. Big Life group has commissioned Gaddum to support the development of the lived experience input in a key system change project for the improvement people’s experiences of services. Greater Manchester’s Co-Occurring Conditions project is centred on those who have concurrent mental health and substance use challenges.
Job Purpose
To support the development of lived experience engagement within the co-occurring conditions workstream. You will support people with lived experience to attend and contribute to design and testing session of services and systems.
You will work with the GM Co-Occurring Conditions Team and wider partners across GM to ensure lived experience is at the heart of mental health services in Greater Manchester.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
1. Support people with lived experience to engage with the Co-Occurring Conditions workstream.
2. Attendance at events and publicising the programme.
3. Organising and ensuring involvement at Co-occurring Conditions meetings.
4. Developing community interest Representation across Coproduction internally and building opportunities across community led groups and peer groups.
5. Developing Lived Experience activities to encourage collaboration, information sharing and opportunities.
6. Identify and, wherever possible, remove barriers to panel member participation including but not limited to travel, childcare, carer responsibilities and translation costs.
7. Work collaboratively with other coproduction leads across Gaddum.
8. Manage the recruitment specific additional members for each of these opportunities, depending on the theme of the event.
9. Ensure that Lived Experience members, whether from the core group or single invitees, are properly off boarded.
10.Maintain records and data and to provide regular monitoring reports and outcomes, including end of project evaluation report.
11.Contribute to Gaddum newsletters, website, and meetings, sharing information and learning form the programme.
The post-holder will be required to undertake other tasks as reasonably directed by the Senior Leadership Team, which will usually be commensurate with the skills and experience of the post-holder.

Age UK Mid Mersey are offering a great opportunity to join our professional, innovative and dedicated team to help launch a new lottery funded Maintenance Cognitive Stimulation Therapy (MCST) programme in Mid Mersey’s four boroughs: Halton, Knowsley, St Helens and Warrington.
Maintenance Cognitive Stimulation Therapy (MCST) is a weekly group programme for people living with mild to moderate dementia or cognitive impairment.
Group members take part in meaningful and stimulating activities, proven to help maintain memory and mental functioning. The groups provide a fun, supportive environment where people can build new friendships.
Activities include:
- discussions
- word games
- quizzes
- physical activities
- creative and musical activities.
Cognitive Stimulation is the only non-drug treatment recommended to improve cognition, independence and well-being by the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE).
Alongside the MCST group sessions the programme will also provide advice, information and facilitated peer support for the carers of groups members.
The MCST Team Leader will lead a small team of MCST group facilitators, Carer Support workers and volunteers.
The Team Leader will plan programmes, provide support and supervision to staff, and ensure compliance with relevant guidelines and standards. They will be responsible for undertaking initial assessment visits with clients in their own homes to ensure the MCST programme is appropriate for them.
Travel across Mid-Mersey is expected so the post holder must have access to their own vehicle and a full clean driving licence.
Full training in MCST will be provided alongside management training and mentoring.

Job Summary
Community Mental Health Transformation is part of a long-term plan to improve mental health services. Gaddum has been commissioned to support the facilitation of mental health lived experience in Community Mental Health Transformation in Manchester.
This role will ensure Lived Experience is a crucial partner in the collaborative approach, which will enable more responsive and accessible services. The collaborative includes Greater Manchester Mental Health Trust, NHS Greater Manchester Integrated Care, leaders from local Voluntary and Community Sector organisations, Primary Care, Public Health.
Job Purpose
To lead and coordinate initiatives that amplify the voices of individuals with lived experience by embedding co-production principles into program delivery. The role aims to create inclusive opportunities for meaningful involvement, ensuring equal representation, capacity-building, and the removal of participation barriers.
Through collaboration with stakeholders and partners, this position supports the development, supervision, and recognition of lived experience representatives, fostering their contributions to service transformation while building pathways for their continued personal and professional growth. Additionally, the role ensures effective Lived Experience Coordinator – Manchester December 2024 communication, reporting, and evaluation to share insights, measure impact, and support service improvement efforts.

This is a part-time, one-year fixed term role contracted at 0.2FTE, with the possibility of extension. Flexible working arrangements are available. The hours do not need to be confined to a single day each week and can be distributed in a pattern that suits both the candidate and the organisation. The full time equivalent (FTE) salary for this role is up to £40,000 depending on experience, which equates to £8,000 for this part-time role. The FTE leave entitlement is 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, for this role the leave entitlement will be 5 days, plus a pro-rata share of bank holidays.

We are seeking a remote-based Support Line Operator to join our small and friendly team, answering enquiries from kidney patients, families and carers by telephone, email and social media channels, driven to provide an excellent experience for every contact.
The Kidney Care UK Support Line provides practical information and non-medical advice for anyone affected by chronic kidney disease.
From Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, the Support Line is accessible by telephone, email and social media. We provide best in class information and support at the first point of contact, knowledgably responding to enquiries with care and compassion.
About you
We are seeking someone with experience of responding to incoming enquiries for a health or care patient support/charity helpline or patient support service.
Ability to deal professionally, calmly, and sympathetically with people affected by kidney disease.
You must have Excellent communication skills, able to engage and reassure by phone and in writing.
You will need to be confident using social media and MS Office for professional communications.

Horatio’s Garden is a growing, award winning, national charity improving the lives of people with spinal injuries by creating and nurturing outstanding garden projects in NHS spinal injury centres.
Trusts & Foundations is our largest income stream, generating income for both ongoing running costs of the existing gardens and for our capital build projects. You will join an experienced Trusts & Foundations team to help meet, and exceed, our income targets and to provide fantastic support to our donors.

Main duties:
- Identify and research grant giving trusts and foundations to whom Horatio’s Garden is eligible to submit applications for funding.
- Proactively approach relevant trusts and foundations, where possible, to discuss potential applications before submission.
- Prepare and submit high quality applications for funding for a range of Horatio’s Garden projects.
- Prepare and submit high quality, timely progress reports to grant givers, contributing to longer term relationship development with funders.
- Maintain the Trusts and Foundations pipeline to maximise supporter retention and income generation.
- Identify and deliver opportunities to engage grant givers with Horatio’s Garden, through events and garden tours, to increase supporter engagement.
- Support the whole fundraising team with tasks where required.
General duties:
- Work with the gardens and finance teams at Horatio’s Garden to understand the need for funding and the impact of Horatio’s Garden to maintain profitable relationships with supporters.
- Ensure all contact and communications with supporters is recorded on our CRM database and on pipelines to enable continuity with supporters across the team.
- Keep up to date with trends and developments in fundraising to identify opportunities for Horatio’s Garden to increase sustainable income.
- Actively contribute to team and organisation meetings.
- Actively contribute to projects and activities across the organisation, supporting colleagues and volunteers where necessary.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience for this role:
- Minimum of one to two years’ experience working in trusts and foundations fundraising, or relevant role with transferable skill set.
- A flair for preparing compelling and persuasive written proposals/documents.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with a warm, friendly and engaging manner.
- Numerate and able to interpret data and trends.
- Ability to manage a varied workload, work on own initiative to multiple tight deadlines with demonstrable time management skills and processes.
- Ability to form and maintain good relationships and to work within a team.
- High level of efficiency – able to work under pressure.
- Energetic with initiative and drive.
- Enthusiasm for working in the charitable sector.
- Excellent working knowledge of MS Office packages, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Empathy and understanding of the issues faced by spinal injury patients.
We are looking for someone to work 22 - 30 hours per week, with a salary of £27,000 - £29,000 pro rata, dependent on experience. Some out of hours work may be required, for which time off in lieu will be provided. Flexible working arrangement with mutually agreed days at our head office, just outside Salisbury in Coombe Bisset, SP5 4LN.

CleanupUK provides equipment and promotional support to help Cleanup Hubs get started with litter picking and engaging local people.
Cleanup Champions work closely with Cleanup Hubs and other partner organisations to encourage more people to get involved in litter picking locally.
We are keen to find cheerful people, with a sense of fun, who care about the environment and enjoy chatting to people of all backgrounds.
Main Purpose of the Role:

To increase the number of people borrowing litter picking equipment from the Cleanup Hubs in your local area.

To represent CleanupUK at a local level by attending litter picking events and supporting the development of the Cleanup Hub network.

To develop strong relationships with partner organisations in the community:

Supporting existing Cleanup Hubs to increase levels of engagement in their area by contacting new groups.

Research and develop potential new partner organisations.
Key Tasks include:

Liaising with Cleanup Hubs and local communities.

Hosting and attending events and reporting back to CleanpUK’s Operational Team.

Helping to keep active records of the litter picking that is taking place. This includes: ensuring litter picking statistics are being logged online by hubs, taking photos for our social media channels, and making notes on our shared database.

Promoting the project locally, both on the ground and online.

Online research to help us to identify new community partners, and attending online or face to face meetings with new prospective partners.

Attending monthly team meetings online.

Developing an awareness of local funding opportunities and communicating these to our fundraising team.

Occasional support to CleanupUK’s corporate partnership team may also be required such as leading a litter picking for a company.
