Key Responsibilities:
Facilities and office administration
· Lead on all first aid and fire compliance duties
· Issuing and collating health and safety risk assessment forms to staff, organising fire, health & safety and first aid training as required
· First point of contact for staff re any office/building/equipment maintenance issues
· Liaise with landlord for office/building/equipment maintenance/health & safety matters

· Make travel and hotel arrangements for FPH Officers, Board members, Committee members and staff including taxi, rail, air and car.

Zoom administration
· Arrange zoom meetings and webinars as per requests, including sharing meeting details

Membership Programme

Workforce Programme (Revalidation & CPD)
1. To support and administer the Faculty’s statutory duties relating to the revalidation of public health specialists including:
· monitoring and delivering the revalidation service
· responding to member and other queries in relation to revalidation.
· maintaining and updating the list of FPH revalidation appraisers
· liaising with external stakeholders, including the Academy of Medical Royal Colleges
2. To support the development and delivery of a system of appraisal and revalidation for public health specialists from backgrounds other than medicine.
3. To administer the Faculty’s annual programme of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) activity including:
· monitoring and delivering the annual programme

· arranging annual training of CPD advisers

The GMHAN is now looking for a new Network Manager to bring together partners to work to drive action and make a difference. Two years ago, the network restructure and bought in a full-time network manager post, now funded by Greater Manchester Mayors Charity and the Lloyds Foundation.
Since this role was initially bought in, the network structure and funding as strengthened, however we are now looking for someone to play a key role in further developing the GMHAN’s strategic role across the region. This includes facilitating full network events, supporting systems change through our network task groups, driving the work of the coordination group and bringing new partners into the network.
This role will have some involvement in new funding applications for additional roles and will be the line manager for the network’s Lived Experience Co-ordinator post.

Strengthening the Network

- Oversight of network comms to ensure key messages are communicated with the wider network. This includes sending regular newsletters, maintaining the network website and managing social media accounts.
- Coordinating and facilitating full network events, by identifying key contributors and supporting them to share their work.
- Representing the GMHAN at external events and in some cases presenting to a range of stakeholders about the structure and purpose of the network.

About the Greater Manchester Homeless Action Network
The Greater Manchester Homeless Action Network (GMHAN) is a cross-sector partnership that brings together everyone across Greater Manchester working to end rough sleeping and prevent homelessness. This includes a range of sectors and specialisms, such as charities, local authorities, housing providers, faith partners and people with lived experience of homelessness. The GMHAN aims to operate using the principles of co-production and community development, placing people with experience of homelessness in the lead.
The work of the GMHAN seeks to add value to local networks and build connections at a GM level. This is done by connecting the many smaller local networks, with local and regional public and private sector bodies, including policy makers and politicians, to influence and design policies and programmes that affect the lives of those experiencing/at risk of experiencing homelessness. We do this through large in person events every 3 months aimed at co-designing Greater Manchester’s homelessness policy and showcasing best practice. Our network events focus on different themes (such as the criminal justice system or youth homelessness) and bring together people passionate about that area to share their experiences and form a collective voice to push for social change.
We also run three task groups- Learn, Lobby & Deliver. The groups are a space for action to happen outside of events, where people from all areas can come together to progress this work and identify areas where the network can influence change. All this work feeds into the GM Homelessness Programme Board, where key decisions are made.

The Role
The Trusts & Foundations Manager (maternity cover) will be an experienced and accomplished Trusts & Foundations fundraiser, who will secure £500k+ in grants towards the Team’s £3.5 million projects income target, enabling the Charity to deliver its exciting capital and activity Masterplan.
Skillful at assimilating and interpreting complex information to craft compelling, high-level funding proposals, self-motivated and tenacious, the post holder will manage a personal portfolio of T&Fs, researching, developing and submitting high-quality, personalised five and six-figure funding proposals to contribute towards individual project targets.
Working as part of a small Team of experienced T&F and major donor fundraisers, the Trusts & Foundations Manager will play a key role in developing and managing the funding pipeline, delivering exceptional donor cultivation and stewardship to secure the income needed and establish a strong and loyal donor base for the Charity.
The post holder will have impeccable interpersonal and presentation skills and be comfortable representing the Charity and engaging with senior internal and external stakeholders.

The Avenues Youth Project is recruiting a part-time HR Manager who will work to manage all aspects of the employee lifecycle across our youth centre. This standalone HR position reports to the Chief Executive and will manage and continue to develop all HR practices and processes, working with the various managers to improve the quality of working life at The Avenues. The Role
FARA is looking to launch the charity’s new Individual Giving programme and is looking for an experienced fundraiser to lead the creation and launch of this.
It is an exciting time for the charity, which helps disadvantaged children, young people, adults and their families in Romania. Building on the initial income opportunities and strategy development work done by fundraising consultants, you will be joining a marketing function with ambitious plans to transform their communications. You will work alongside colleagues across the whole organisation to deliver this work and will have the support of the Director of Marketing and Communications, the CEO and additional support from Nova Fundraising who have already been working with the charity on a consultancy basis.
The Individual Giving Manager will be responsible for:
- Creating systems, structures, activities and messages designed to launch and grow individual giving with an ambition to take the charity’s fundraising income to six figures over three years.
- Using data to inform Individual Giving campaigns, creating powerful messaging to acquire, retain and upgrade donors through digital and offline methods.
- Brief and oversee the work of external agencies, as required, to support the recruitment and engagement of new supporters.
- Oversee and implement stewardship plans and supporter journeys for financial donors, who work alongside those of other supporters to ensure optimum message integration and upsell/cross-sell opportunities.
- Work with colleagues to generate and implement FARA’s email stewardship programme for individual givers.
- Plan, schedule and manage personalised communications with donors.
- Explore other fundraising areas, including events, community, legacy and major donors.
The Person
Are you entrepreneurial, innovative, personable, and collaborative, with experience developing and delivering fundraising programmes?
The role requires a candidate with a strong background in building relationships and identifying and developing new fundraising messages, campaigns and activities from scratch.
This is not a case of picking up a mature programme and running with it (although the organisation does have a small baseline of donors who have been giving for many years). The opportunity is all about creating, testing and learning – to diversify income sources at FARA, utilising the extensive network of supporters it has gained through its 40 charity shops across London.
You will need to be proficient in digital platforms, with experience in building a digital-focused approach to supporter acquisition and donor development. You will play a crucial role in nurturing relationships with individual supporters to make a difference to the lives of disadvantaged children, young people and adults in Romania.
The post-holder will have previous experience in fundraising, ideally experience specifically within IG, however this is not essential and we will consider candidates looking to transition into a new area of fundraising. You will need experience of developing creative fundraising programmes and be excited by the prospect of pursuing new opportunities for the organisation by engaging with existing supporters—many of whom might only have ‘gifted’ the charity via donations of pre-loved clothes and other items to FARA shops.

About the role
Part of the senior management team, as Fundraising Manager, you will be responsible for generating vital income from a variety of sources, including community fundraising, individual giving, corporate partnerships, legacy donors, and trusts and foundations.

As Fundraising Manager, you will have the following skills and experience:
Demonstrable experience and success in one or more of the following types of Fundraising - Community, Corporate, Legacy, Individual Giving or Trusts and Foundations.
Related field or equivalent experience in, Business, Marketing, Non-Profit Management, a related field or equivalent experience.
Awareness of legislation surrounding Direct Marketing and compliance with the Fundraising Regulator's Code of Fundraising Practice.
Strong knowledge of donor development and customer service/supporter care principles.
Sound knowledge of GDPR and its impact on fundraising.
Experience in prospect research, identifying funding opportunities, and writing tailored applications.
Demonstrable experience of working in a fundraising team.
Experience in developing and implementing community fundraising initiatives.
Experience in creating and managing donor acquisition and retention campaigns.

The Infrastructure Manager will work closely with the Head of HR & Operations, Finance and Operations Director and external contacts to critically review several support systems and databases and recommend improved infrastructure at Liberty.
The successful candidate must have experience of having specified, sourced and implemented new database solutions in other organisations and a familiarity with a variety of monitoring, learning and evaluation frameworks, concepts, practices and procedures. An excellent project manager with experience of delivering projects to budget and on time and the ability to work with multiple stakeholders, motivating them through change, the successful candidate will be energised by delivering concurrent projects at pace.
