The Society for Endocrinology is seeking a Clinical Data Officer to support the national data collection and analysis of endocrine research projects. By curating large patient-centric data sets we will facilitate research into endocrine conditions, ultimately to improve patient outcomes.

Since our founder, Kathy Coe MBE, created Pathway Project, we have helped over 25,000 people, with 5,814 hours of support provided in the last year. About the role
This multifaceted role requires the ability to manage, interrogate and evaluate data and compile accurate reports to enable crucial reporting to funders. This role enables the post holder to facilitate the end to end process ensuring the data input into the system allows for accuracy in reporting on funding contracts. The postholder will have a keen eye for accuracy and be able to interrogate case management systems to extract relevant data.
- To facilitate data collection, consolidate, analyse and organise reports for funders and internal teams with precision and attention to detail.
- To support the COO with daily operations by ensuring that data is accurately and appropriately recorded in the case management system to facilitate the reporting required.
- To aid in the administration and advancement of the online case management system.
- To generate reports and statistics to disseminate the results of the Pathway Project.
- To work with colleagues to include data impact in the storytelling and case studies within funding, trust or grant applications to demonstrate the impact of the Pathway Project whilst maintaining the confidentiality of our clients.
- Support Pathway Project to maintain excellent relationships with funders, grant makers or trust managers and ensuring the data required for reporting is recorded accurately to facilitate that reporting.

Role Details
This role primarily focuses on managing and supporting data within the fundraising operations. The Data analyst will be responsible for supporting the implementation of our recently developed and agreed diocesan strategy through the synthesis of multiple data points. The Society are looking for a Sustainability officer to support the delivery of current and the development future activities related to the British Ecological Society’s strategic sustainability goals.
Reporting to the Director of Publishing, Core duties include:
Collating and reporting on BES CO2e emissions data with support of the Office and Finance Assistant, improving and adapting processes as required
Calculating annual departmental emissions data
Supporting the creation of a BES biodiversity impact assessment, including working with and gathering data for external consultants
Establishing resulting data collection and reporting processes for future years and review and adapt as necessary
Collating information to support SLT or Board of Trustee decision making
Contributing to defining and implementing the sustainability roadmap and to the development of resulting new policies and procedures
Advising on the setting of departmental carbon emission/biodiversity impact reduction targets and on the feasibility of suggested measures
Keeping up-to-date with BES policy work and ensure BES sustainability initiatives are in line with policy recommendations
Delivering sustainability inductions for new staff Work with internal teams to ensure that staff understand the BES environmental and sustainability goals, methods, terminology and partnerships

About the role
This is a newly created position at Woman’s Trust, reflecting the critical need for impactful insights and evaluation of our services. The Data Insights Manager will lead, motivate, and develop an efficient and dynamic insights team and will strategically work with the Service Delivery team to turn the data collected by Woman’s Trust into actionable insights, so that we can better support the women accessing our services.
This role will be responsible for the smooth running and development of reporting and analysis tools across Woman’s Trust, so that staff can use our internal service data to inform their ongoing work and decision making.
To ensure that Woman’s Trust is feeding data learnings into our organisational development and service reviews, the Data Insight Manager will ensure the team are asking the right questions, pick out trends in the data with distinct themes, challenge our staff to collect and report accurate data and help to evolve our data practices. The Data Insight Manager will create ways in which Woman’s Trust can utilise its data to improve and expand our services as well as undertaking relevant ad hoc research projects, both internal and external, to ensure Woman’s Trust is seen as a leader in its field in producing sector relevant reports, presentations and papers.
The Data Insight Manager will take ownership of concisely communicating insights from our data and research to both internal and external stakeholders in innovative and engaging ways. The role will deliver on Woman’s Trust’s strategic priorities with regards to service contracts, data, monitoring and evaluation. You will not only mentor and develop capacity within your own team but act as a data advocate, enhancing the relationship between the front-line workers Woman’s Trust’s work and the staff managing the contractual obligations.

Senior Data Insights Manager
Contract: Permanent, full time role with flexible working options including part time (four days per week) and condensed hour options available
Salary: £45,133 per annum
Location: Hybrid – home based with ideally two days per week at the London office in Finsbury Park

Joining as Senior Data Insights Manager you will be a core member of the team at Freedom from Torture and will take ownership of the organisation’s data across fundraising, covering all CRM systems (currently ALMS . net and Engaging Networks) to ensure that systems and processes are aligned to the long-term strategic needs of the organisation.
A pivotal role within the organisation you will work closely with colleagues across Fundraising and Communications including Digital, as well as the Finance Team and with external suppliers to develop and deliver analytics.
Key responsibilities within the role include:
- Alongside the Database Officer, responsible for the management, use and maintenance of fundraising data
- Responsible for ensuring platforms and data processes keep up with organisational needs
- Identifying positive change initiatives and leading data transformation which will positively impact wider teams
- Streamlining existing data processes and implementing new processes
- Producing and reviewing database project plans to ensure data cleanliness, and liaising with colleagues to encourage engagement and compliance with data best practice
- Work with senior colleagues to ensure that Freedom from Torture has the insights and data to make informed decisions on fundraising and engagement activities
- Proactively advising colleagues on potential improvements to segmentation, selections and testing guided by market trends and new technology that will maximise engagement
- Supported by a Data and Payments Officer, ensure audience appropriate regular reporting is delivered accurately and on time
- Responsible for the storage and use of supporter data, including the management of risk and recovery plans and data security, working closely with colleagues in ICT
- Managing contractual relationships with database supplier and liaising with relevant third party agencies
We would love to hear from you if you have the following skills and experience:
- High level of expertise using CRM and SRM systems within a charitable environment
- Experience managing an income generating CRM, in a charity setting, ideally generating £5 million per annum plus
- Experience of managing complex data management systems incorporating multiple platforms
- Solid experience using data handling tools such as Power BI, SQL and statistical tools
- Proven ability to interpret large sets of data and to spot trends and patterns (e.g. in giving history or opt out behaviour)
- Experience of data base targeting, segmentation, testing and response analysis to drive strategic fundraising decisions
- Experience of managing projects which involve multiple deadlines and stakeholders
- Ability to devise and implement real world data testing strategies across multiple channels
- Expert understanding of data protection legislation, ideally including the Fundraising Code of Practice
