This role is pivotal in supporting the charity’s data and systems transformation programme, ensuring the effective management and maintenance.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day management including licence management, user permissions, and training
• Ensure supporter data, processes, and systems are efficient, high quality, and compliant with relevant regulations
• Collaborate with the CRM Business Analyst to gather requirements for a new CRM and support the implementation of a Super User structure
• Act as a subject matter expert for Microsoft Dynamics 365 and ThankQ
• Maintain and develop training materials for CRM users, ensuring data quality standards are met
• Provide user support, triage tickets, and resolve issues on the service desk platform, Manage Engine
• Oversee scheduled data feeds and troubleshoot issues with the Data Integration Specialist
• Contribute to the Data Quality Programme by developing and standardising data capture and monitoring processes

Skills and Experience Required

• Proven experience in a Senior Data Operations Officer or similar role, ideally within the charity or non-profit sector
• Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and structured query language (SQL) Server Management Studio
• Practical knowledge of General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) and ensuring compliance
• Strong IT skills, including comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel for data manipulation and analysis
• Experience in providing database training, creating processes, and procedures

Income from donations from wills makes up approximately a third of our charity’s annual income. This new role will provide our charity with a dedicated member of staff to grow and develop income from this stream; strengthening relationships with pledgers, future pledgers and solicitors and other will writing service providers. The post holder will also coordinate marketing activities to promote this form of giving.

This role will also support colleagues in creating and support events to engage wider donors. We have a close-knit fundraising team and you will provide support for our community, individual giving and corporate giving teams.

About the role:

We are looking to appoint a Family Support Coordinator to support our care teams in delivering a high-quality family support service in the region, working with families and professionals to ensure the families we support have access to the services they need.

Reporting to the Family Support Manager and working in partnership with health, education, and social care professionals, you will take responsibility for sourcing practical goods and services in the region, applying for grants and benefits, as well as working with other charities or community providers to obtain goods, equipment or funds for families that Rainbow Trust do not provide directly.

Having worked in a stressful or emotionally-demanding environment with an understanding of the complexities of working with children and families, you will have a genuine interest in building supportive relationships and strong networks with other organisation to provide meaningful assistance to the families we support.

Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer, yet historically just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this devastating disease. Brain Tumour Research is determined to change this. 

Their vision is to find a cure for all types of brain tumours. To achieve their mission, they are looking for a Community Fundraiser who will proactively engage with supporters, community groups and volunteers across the West Midlands to join their team of 12 Community Fundraisers across the UK.

The Community Fundraiser (West Midlands) is responsible for providing support and guidance to fundraisers within their communities to achieve their ambitions and ultimately raise vital funds for Brain Tumour Research. This is achieved through a wide variety of activities such as helping supporters to make the most of their own fundraising, engaging participants with externally organised events such as the Great Birmingham Run, and encouraging communities to get involved in events organised by Brain Tumour Research such as Wear a Hat Day and Walk for Hope. About the role

We’re seeking a solicitor to lead the development of a new legal advice service for kinship carers. Joining an established advice team in a growing national charity, this is a new role focussed on delivering specialist legal advice to individuals and changing policy and practice through strategic casework.

Importantly, the postholder will have the opportunity to shape the role to best meet the needs of Kinship and kinship carers.

You’ll be part of a skilled and supportive team who keep kinship carers at the heart of their service.

Our Advice Team supports kinship carers in complex and challenging situations. It can be a tough role at times, so we prioritise adviser wellbeing and are developing a trauma informed approach to our advice work that we’ll be embedding across the service.

The type of person we’re looking for

You will be a 3 year PQE solicitor with strong knowledge of child law, family court processes and related safeguarding legislation. You will have the ability to become a leading expert in kinship care law. You will bring a compassionate and practical approach to supporting kinship carers to navigate legal challenges, access support, and achieve the best outcomes for the children in their care.

You will understand the broader systemic challenges faced by kinship carers, be a strategic thinker and have an interest in service development and policy influencing.

You will need to be resilient and be able to remain calm in difficult situations. You will be firm, sensitive and professional in your approach and will be clear and assertive as you identify key issues and support kinship carers to get their needs met quickly and effectively.

You will understand how important it is that kinship carers feel confident in making their own decisions with the right information and advice so that they can build their own knowledge and confidence rather than dependency.

Key responsibilities include:

· Provide high quality, people centred, specialist legal advice and assistance to kinship carers in England and Wales on kinship care law-related matters.

· Undertake casework and strategic casework.

· Lead the development of Kinship’s legal offer to kinship carers.

· Provide support, resources and training to colleagues in the advice team to support the quality of legal advice.

· Ensure our legal service is compliant with all relevant regulatory requirements.

· Work with our Policy and Campaigns team to identify opportunities for influencing policy and practice through strategic casework, litigation, policy work or campaigning.

· Support colleagues in our Training and Website teams to develop legally accurate content and resources.

Essential knowledge, abilities, skills and experience include:

· A minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience (PQE) in child law, family law, or closely related fields.

· Experience in both private and public law child-related cases.

· Strong knowledge of child law, family court processes, and related safeguarding legislation.

· Ability to provide clear, accurate, and practical legal advice tailored to the individual circumstances of vulnerable people.

· Excellent written skills and research skills.

· Strong organisational skills to prioritise tasks effectively, meet deadlines, and comply with legal and regulatory requirements.

· Confident in using digital tools, and an ability to learn new tools.

We’re looking for a Fundraising Engagement Manager with great personality and team ethic to join our Regional Fundraising team.

You will maximise income for Young Live vs Cancer by coaching our supporters to reach their goals, whilst seeking out new fundraising opportunities for your geographical area. Your team of supporters will range from volunteers and individuals, to groups and local corporates.

• Deep understanding of software development, IT infrastructure, DevOps, Agile, and Scrum practices, with experience in AI, ML, RPA, UX, design, end-user testing, and requirements gathering.
• Ability to analyse complex problems, devise solutions, and make informed decisions under pressure.

Key responsibilities:

Income Generation

• Drive online income generation through effective use of digital fundraising platforms, social media, and supporter journeys.
• Optimise and manage digital giving platforms, such as Funraisin, to increase donations and supporter engagement.
• Expand and enhance peer-to-peer fundraising, ensuring fundraisers have the tools and motivation to maximise income.

Digital & Social Media

• Increase digital reach and visibility, making sure fundraising messages are seen and acted upon.
• Leverage social media fundraising tools, such as Elovate (CommittedGiving), to improve donor retention and engagement.
• Use AI-powered tools to streamline prospect research, automate content personalisation, and optimise donor engagement.
• Develop and execute strategies to convert social media and website visitors into long-term donors.

Support & Collaboration

• Provide guidance and digital tools to e-volunteers and fundraising champions, enabling them to spread AvMA’s fundraising messages and attract donations.
• Analyse and report on digital fundraising performance, using insights to refine strategy and improve return on investment.
• Contribute to digital income diversification, exploring new revenue-generating opportunities such as online retail or supporter-driven fundraising products (e-commerce experience desirable).

You will play a vital role in keeping our senior leadership organised and on track, ensuring smooth communication to enable the team to collaborate across all the activities and projects.

 

Key Responsibilites

This vital role will enable the leadership team to focus on strategic goals, fundraising, and programme delivery—by ensuring smooth day-to-day coordination behind the scenes. Working closely with the Operations Director, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

About the role:

Birmingham Hippodrome has been entertaining audiences for over 125 years. The Finance Team is crucial to stewarding financial resources, meeting regulatory requirements, providing transactional services and delivering a range of reporting to enable the organisation in deliver its strategic aims.

The Head of Finance is responsible for leading the Finance Team to provide compliant and effective finance services including transactional processing, financial accounting, financial planning and control, initiatives to improve financial performance and delivery of management information which supports strategic and tactical decision making. The post holder will work particularly closely with the Financial Controller and Chief Operating Officer to plan and deliver co-ordinated activity which provides excellent support for the organisation.

The organisation has an ambitious strategy which means that it has grown its workforce and the range of activities it undertakes and has more to achieve. It is taking on more activity with different accounting implications than in the past, such as loans, commercial property management and producing its own work for the stage. Capital projects are underway or having feasibility tested and we are at a point of change in how we work with some partner organisations. This means that we plan to increase capacity for financial planning, balancing capital and revenue expenditure, planning for organisation-wide impacts of activity and supporting partnership working.

As the Head of Finance, you will be pivotal in leading and developing the department and its relationship with both internal and external stakeholders.
